[APP] YouTube Ripper v1.0 (Updated 19th August)

Hi,
Look on the market for "YouTube Ripper" - it's a free application - requirements are: A SD Card, Android 1.5 or better.
After you installed you can use it like this:
1. Open YouTube application
2. Search for your favorite youtube video.
3. Press on it until a menu pops up, press on "Share"
4. Select "YouTube Ripper"
5. YouTube Ripper application pops up, press on "Rip It!"
It will then start downloading the youtube video to your /sdcard/youtube folder.

1thing.... were it is???

Nice app! The thing I like about this app vs the others in the market, is that it lets you use youtube to do the searching instead of the app itself doing the search. The other apps in the market cant find some videos on youtube.

Not working for me it just view to the "please wait for your download to begin" is there a progress bar that's supposed to pop up after? Running Cm 5.06

Good work, maybe make it ad supported so the market cost can be offset?
I am not sure how effective those thing are though.

I don't think it works if you are logged into ur YouTube account on ur phone... logged out worked great I can care less about being logged in YouTube lol... good job on this..

can anyone post where can i find such app, or even post a link. cannot find it in the market. i have a NEXUS one running stock kernel and rom. and of course I'm accessing this thread using my phone of course. i feeling i little bit ashamed because i feel i'm failing to see the obvious

its not on the market just download it form the thread (1st post) and put on your sd card and then install with apk installer for example

Miui Apps **Links Fixed Again lol**

Here are the miui apps that I've pulled for use with the Galaxy Tab, all .apk's have been tested by me and confirmed to work.

Thanks yea the stock camera app is OK, but could be better.
EDIT: The lockscreen question was a bit far fetched, I do know that the lockscreen depends on the MIUI backends... so that won't be happening soon. Maybe a complete MIUI port XD

I have installed the camera, so far so good, but I could not change any setting as the menu is in chinesse only. Is there any chance to get it in English?

I fixed the Music link, also if the menus are in Chinese you should be able to fix it with a reboot if not post back here and let me know. Everything shows up English on my tablet but I'm on the Verizon Tab there may be some differences.

Its amazing. And that song changing animation is too cool. But its getting force close whenever you open new songs from album.

Having problems with this
Firstly it doesn't support QVGA(Doesn't cum properly in my phone)
Secondly when u use the music widget to open it it force closes.
Overall it is the real thing but it doesn't support QVGA!!!

Doesn't work on the Dell Streak5 - images are too small. I think this is a resolution problem as Teeter has similar problems.

works on orange boston but both menu (at far left & right) are always force closing the app.

It just like the interface of htc music but there is a resolution problem and too many force closes....Hope it works on urs!!!!

What this is a root out of a htc phone with a different res. so if it's layout is huge or tiny it is not meant for ur device.....but it's res. can be changed however it will always be laggy

Doesn't work on Atrix everything is too small and it wont play any music.

cuz this is only the player there is another widget apk on htc device for htc music.......I will post the widget shortly cuz the music widget won't work with this.....

To make the screen look like it's there:
Install UCCW from playstore.
Use apex launcher....set it's grid to 10X10.......also enable overlapping widgets.....(You can use whichever launcher suits you)
Set your desired wallpaper( or the wallpaper you got from that screen) and enable no scrolling.....
Then set UCCW widgets you downloaded from that site......resizing is the key.....Do it your way ( you can also make your own with different icons and other stuff)
And voila it's done
I've tried PIE UI, google cards, and many more and all have worked....You need some time to do it I travel via trains everyday and hence i get around 1 and a half hour to customise

then download uccw app and open it....before doing that download any battery uccw widget skin(google it) you will get a .uzip format file .....import that file via uccw app .....set that as uccw widget( as normally you set widgets)resize it so that it fits in that circle and you can get the battery info there

for using the social, camera, apps and other things....open uccw.....create new skin.....click where the word 'background' is written>>>>>>>a dropdown box apperars>>>>click on hotspots>>>>set the size and area of the hotspot>>>>>>then set it's function to app>>>>select your desired app>>>>>>then save skin and set it as widget.........set the widget over the desired word( means if u created hotspot for maps, then keep the widget overlapping 'maps' word) hence maps will open everytime you click on the word 'maps'....do it for other words also...

I really like the BMW one .. so much so that I installed the ROM just to get it haha.
Anyway. It was worth it. I just wonder how I can keep the BMW ring but change the skin. Whenever I change from the HTC skin it replaces the BMW.
