I saw this thread at the sapphire/magic section and have not seen it here, Is there a way to port this to the 32B. This might solve the whole 3d driver and camcorder issue with this full leaked version.

One does not simply just port Sense to Dream.

This is gonna sound stupid but can't we just take the 32A ROM and use Relentless Roaster to convert it from 32A to 32B?

c4's custom wallpaper from the rom. There are a few apps there that look pretty interesting (i.e. datacopy.apk, currentdatastate.apk, camerafirmware.apk, filecopy.apk, lcdtest.apk, TVnVideos.apk, shutdown.apk) lets see what drizzy can do with it Hm, looks like theres a shutdown similar to windows xp shutting down, just need to edit the images.

Hmmm this is very interesting, I was able to get BT turned on using the Samsung BT daemon and the Dream firmware in Hero. I got it turned on in the linux environment, NOT Android. Sorry should probably clear that up. I'll see if I can use their daemon as opposed to the HTC bts daemon that comes with Hero and get BT working!

tried porting libs but that's not all that it needs im sure but just hangs on turning on!

Yeah I dug thru it and there are a couple of things I might snag from it like the boot animation code.. Otherwise it's just another "with Google" Android build with some proprietary stuff, IMHO.

yea, I already dug through it and it looks to be another plain old Google build. like u said the boot animation code caught my eye and also there appears to be a shutdown animation in there. (video dir in system/media) tried pushing shutdown.apk/.odex along with creating the video dir in system/media but nothing lol..
I haven't really seen much success with this. Is is possible?

Cam doesnt work so be prepared...
You must have a swap partition for 2.0 roms.
You might also want to consider a rom from wesengarner or bonesy.

Here's what i've done, i've smashed together a cm6 kernel and a ramdisk from a 2.1 hero rom, which shouldn't make it not work.
However, some of the libs may be outdated for froyo.

I own a Droid Eris as well as the G1. Developer punk.kaos over in the Eris forum has ported Sense/Froyo to the Eris. I believe he got it from the HTC Wildfire. It works, but its in the 'beta' stage right now. It has resolution issues as well as camera issues. I'm sure Kaos will get these sorted out soon. Check the Wildfire forums for it.

Your behavior is similar to mine, although i don't know for sure if it's the same without a logcat... if you still have it flashed i'd really appreciate one.

Got it. Uploading probably won't work for mt3g. I currently am using mtd partitions with everything moved onto /system.
I'm uploading one, however, that puts app_s on sd-ext and framework in /data, so there's no need for mtd partitions.

haha well use clockwork... i rarely sign stuff, clockwork doesn't verify if you uncheck the option in the recovery.

I made this pre-optimized because it boots much faster, only adds a trivial (if any) amount of size to the ROM image, and saves a lot of space in dalvik-cache. May I ask why you are looking for a non-optimized version?

I'm still running CM7 myself (albeit with a few personal compilation tweaks), so I'll of course still be contributing.
Take a look at the Nightly page -- all devices are stuck at 30 right now. Must be something wrong with the build bot.

never mind bro. i was always under the impression that i could not install themes on a odex rom but i can. looks and runs great awesome work bro keep it up
i have noticed the miui camera will not run on this rom so everyone knows
Will the older cwm not work with this? The op says only edify, so is that a no?

Great rom man. The only gb mod I've been able to run without gps lock issues. One question if you don't mind. Will the cm7 themes work with this?
