I saw this thread at the sapphire/magic section and have not seen it here, Is there a way to port this to the 32B. This might solve the whole 3d driver and camcorder issue with this full leaked version.

One does not simply just port Sense to Dream.

This is gonna sound stupid but can't we just take the 32A ROM and use Relentless Roaster to convert it from 32A to 32B?

Im also pretty sure damage knows a hell of enough to tell if its a htc hero rom compared to a moment rom.

Here's what i've done, i've smashed together a cm6 kernel and a ramdisk from a 2.1 hero rom, which shouldn't make it not work.
However, some of the libs may be outdated for froyo.

Thanks for any help. Again i'll state this only half-boots, it's not usable. unless you like using your phone as a rechargable light-up paperweight when using this rom. All it shows is the boot screen.

I own a Droid Eris as well as the G1. Developer punk.kaos over in the Eris forum has ported Sense/Froyo to the Eris. I believe he got it from the HTC Wildfire. It works, but its in the 'beta' stage right now. It has resolution issues as well as camera issues. I'm sure Kaos will get these sorted out soon. Check the Wildfire forums for it.

EDIT this may actually work for some people, my g1 is weird sometimes. try it, it won't brick your phone, but if it bricks your phone it's not my fault.

Your behavior is similar to mine, although i don't know for sure if it's the same without a logcat... if you still have it flashed i'd really appreciate one.

yea it will be a little buggy. Check out screenshots from the Hero CDMA development section, you can see how rosie looks.

Got it. Uploading probably won't work for mt3g. I currently am using mtd partitions with everything moved onto /system.
I'm uploading one, however, that puts app_s on sd-ext and framework in /data, so there's no need for mtd partitions.

Forgive me for being a noob (I'm learning) but how come our phone does not have one solid/official CWM? Pretty much every ROM changes CWM. I come from an HTC phone which didn't matter whether or not you flashed 1 or 100 ROMS; CWM wouldn't change.

I take it you blind too because those are for the USA version of the device which is running an S4 chip and isn't compatible with the international version of the phone running an S3 chip.
All new HOS's are running S4 afaik. My brand new EU HOS is S4.
There are som other versions in asia, like the SU and SE, but other than that theyre all S4.
What I mean to say is - S4 isnt an "USA version".

Np dude sorry too but if you said S3 then ya I wouldn't of said it. TrickDroid is your best bet for a rom just make sure you get the right one.

Never mind, looked into the three ROMs available and saw that they aren't that much different from the stock HTC Sense skin. I just wanna get rid of the Sense and get pure Android but oh well, I guess I just have to live with Sense. Thanks anyway.

Could always root and then remove all the crap you don't want and replace it an AOSP version of it.

Well not the skin parts like menus but you can remove pretty much everything of sense but make sure you have apps to replace them installed first.
