Pulled this for now because I don't have time to work on it.

I hope you get to your goal soon, I'm sure it will be fine work.

I made this pre-optimized because it boots much faster, only adds a trivial (if any) amount of size to the ROM image, and saves a lot of space in dalvik-cache. May I ask why you are looking for a non-optimized version?

Great to see this come out Jason. I'll be trying this out for sure. I just hope you don't stop your contributions to CM7 repo in the heroc section. It looks like we currently are stuck on #30.

I'm still running CM7 myself (albeit with a few personal compilation tweaks), so I'll of course still be contributing.
Take a look at the Nightly page -- all devices are stuck at 30 right now. Must be something wrong with the build bot.

Great rom man. The only gb mod I've been able to run without gps lock issues. One question if you don't mind. Will the cm7 themes work with this?

I live in the Android world but I still dabble in the WinMo world when I get a chance to be on my windows box. If someone would make a WinMo kitchen for Linux, I would probably still be building for my Touch Pro2 & Touch Pro.
Thats cool....still use my TP2 as a pda basically...havent cooked a winmo rom in months...I wasnt gonna bother cooking at all for the evo, but Im starting to get the itch lol

I hope someone is porting this ROM, shouldn't be horrendous, but who knows, since the other DHD ports were 2.2 and we had 2.2 already so i'm sure that made it easier.

911sniper is a very reputable leak source. There's a leak for the htc bravo (desire) as well, so I'd think it's pretty legit.
Man this site is on fire today huh lol it doesnt look too legit so ill wait on some feedback on this one guys as much as im dreaming on gb on sense lol
There is no doubt in my mind this is a legit leak. Its from the best leak source as wd said, what I'm nervous about is the fact that is says TEST. Even though it's built for the evo, It might not work entirely properly regaurdless.
Think we can get a recovery flashable version?

[MOD] noCIQ for EI22 :: 11/9/2011 :: UPDATED SCRIPT - REDL/REFLASH!

k0nane presents...
noCIQ (Carrier IQ removal) for EI22
Because your privacy matters!
11/16/11: Hello, InformationWeek readers!
About
Any of you who have been around since EB13, who have come from the Evo 4G, or really, who have had a Sprint Android phone at all in the last few years, probably know what Carrier IQ is. If you don't, see the second post.
This mod does precisely what it says on the tin - removes Carrier IQ. For good. No more background process, reduced battery drain, marginally better performance. This package is best suited for stock ROM users and ROM/theme devs - ROM users, you will likely see this mod included in most if not all ROMs from today (11/9) on.
How To Install
Wipe cache (main menu) and dalvik-cache (under Advanced) in CWM, and flash as normal.
Video via qbking77:
Downloads
I do not use file hosts with waiting times!
Download noCIQ for EI22
Download noCIQ for EI22 (mirror)
FAQ
Q: Can I flash this on an odexed ROM, including stock?
A: No! You must be on a deodexed ROM.
Q: I get FCs!
A: Ensure you wiped cache and dalvik-cache. If issues persist, try other common troubleshooting steps. DO NOT report bugs unless you get an FC every single time in a certain place.
Q: This broke (theme/mod/app/etc.)
A: Theme/mod: is it noCIQ-compatible? If not, that's why. Ask the creator to update it. DO NOT USE THEMES/MODS FROM OLDER VERSIONS. Anything else: no. It didn't break it.
Q: I'm a ROM dev/themer. May I use this?
A: Absolutely. Please credit me if you do - other than that, go wild.

[mod] - ics init.d stapler -7/29/2012-

WHAT THE HECK IS THIS?
If you are one of the many ICS users (or devs), you may have noticed that it is very difficult to make your tweaks (v6 and car-o-dope especially) stick. Whether or not these tweaks are actually needed is up to the user/dev, i'm just here to bring you the solution to a minor ICS issue.
WHAT THE HECK DOES THIS DO?
This is a flashable .zip file that will essentially inject (or staple as I like to say) the support of the INIT.D script into your current ICS rom. As I said above, this SHOULD (YMMV) allow the support of any tweaks that require the INIT.D script.
WHAT THE HECK SHOULD I DO?
I AM IN NO WAY SHAPE OR FORM RESPONSIBLE FOR YOU BREAKING YOUR EVO 4G USING THIS MOD!
In order from start to finish:
-Download the .zip file from the download section.
-Place .zip file in the root of your SD card.
-Boot your ICS rom into any AMON RA based recovery.
-(OPTIONAL) Wipe dalvik/cache.
-Flash the .zip file!
-(OPTIONAL) Wipe dalvik/cache.
-Apply your favorite tweaks.
-Enjoy and report any success/failure to this thread.

Every ICS ROM I've flashed, since the beginning of ICS to when I put this out, did not stick with my tweaks.
I made this for myself and decided to release it for the community.
It may be standard now, but I know a few devs have asked to include this in their ROMs, so there is the point lol.
