i hope we can add colours to days which we have important appointment, or events to take note. i would prefer a solid coloured square like how it is selected for today rather than those small unnoticable triangles which look confusing when there is alot.

edit: here is the .cab for turning the triangle into blue: View attachment 288136
The easiest way to change the color of things in manila is to just use cfcgui. You can have it import all graphic manila files from your device and export those files to .png. Then you can edit the png in photoshop and use cfcgui to import the edited png into the manila file. It's pretty easy to scroll through the images in cfcgui to find the image you want (little date triangle for example).

^ I agree
CFC has +- 70% of all the manila file names covered But all the rest is still in the group "unknown" So you'll have to guess for those
But it's in fact an easy way of editing the manila graphic files (not mode9 or .lua files)

You just need a decent graphics app and some art skills mate. Then export your final images as 128x128 png files. You then link your shortcuts to your images via a registry entry. That's the easiest bit lol.
Good luck

No worries mate. One thing I should add - when you save the finished items as png files, save then as 32bit. 24bit is full colour, but no alpha layer, which is what gives it transparency and allows things like nice smooth edges and shadows etc..
You can use CSMI to set your icons easily

Just to clarify - this only alters the notification bar when the phone is locked?
so, here the full menu
It alters the notification icons in homescreen and lockscreen (they are the same), the lock icon in homescreen and the battery and signal icon in the lockscreen.
Edit: Sorry, the cab in the post was an older version of the notifications (screenshot in post 7). Now it's the right version.

You have to go in the phcanOverbmp.dll (in windows directory). Copy this file to your PC and open it with XN Resource Editor http://www.wilsonc.demon.co.uk/d10resourceeditor.htm. Export the icons. Then you have to change the 6467A103_manila file (also in windows directory). Take my 6467A103_manila.png as a template for the icons and change it with for example Gimp or Photoshop. Second last step: Go with CFC GUI http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=470798 to the directory of your copied 6467A103_manila file and replace the image with your changed picture. Last step: Copy this changed 6467A103_manila file in your phone's windows directory.

Hey Rat,
I'm curious about which of those .CAB files you posted earlier is the one that has the "Anastasia" glass-like design around the icons?
I'd like to use that, it would go perfectly with my theme.
Thanks in advance.

When editting .cpr files to pull mode9 ect , in this case for the lockscreen, i can access lockscreen cpr files in the Lockscreen folder of windows.. but not in the actual windows folder.. i havent started editting yet because im running out the door.. but why cant i copy or open the ones actually inside the windows folder.. and is this going to affect me on editting the lockscreen to get rid of some fonts ect.

Using a file explorer, navigate to Application Data (Device)----HTC-----ProgLauncher.
But what are you planning to do?

I think it would be a lot easier for you to just replace the icons with JWMD or CSMI.
When you've replaced all program icons you wanted to change, don't forget to clear Sense's cache to get results.
You can either do it manually or by using SICC
Grtz,
Degake
p.s. Are you sure you aren't seeing ".bmp" instead of ".bmg"??

The reason for wanting the stock images, is if you cannot find a png on the net to make an icon. I know how to make icons, check sig, but I am wondering why they have a file extension of .BMG? Or is it something that is messed up on my system.
I would like to retrieve the icon images for B&L gps tracker, etc, so that I may create a custom icon out of the original. Sometimes the cab installer will have a png image in the program files folder, but not usually.
