Task Manager Topbar Icon

Hey guys, just made these images for changing the Topbar Task Manager Icon. Feel free to use openly. They are based off of the default Notification Icon for the Task Manager on Windows 7.

And, Battery Icons I'm working on...
Edit: Right-click and save as, than copy to kaiser/Tilt to view to see what it'll look like better. Has numbers for percentage that aren't showing in the thumbnail below due to them being white and too close to the page's background color...

why can't I see attched photos?

They are very small, 16x16 Pixel, the size of the topbar icons. So they maybe showing up on your screen and you may have just overlooked them depending on your screen resolution.
I'm saving the battery icons atm, will upload a zip soon...

These are just the images. You need to edited the dll/mui's to replace the default icons used.

This is a very old thread now. The images need to be put into the taskservice.dll of an old build of the Task Manager. The new version doesn't support skinning of this type. Please see this thread for more information on the newer builds that use a binary registry value to control the icon.

Sense 2.5 transparent!

How to do that?

there'e all files I used:

more additional and simpler method
used only 2 files:

I tried the two files and they worked well here (Pure running Tess 4.1)
I had a few personel changes I would prefer
White(er) clock digits would be more visable on my dark background
And I sometime have a hard time finding the current icon (to slide it )
with the transparent slider, I mainly changed it to get the 5 icons
Either of these "user" adjustable?
(wasn't there a select from multiple clock faces setting somewhere?)
I also noticed (its what really 1st got my attention!)
you have 5 launcher icons
I really like that feature! or even 4 wide how many total icons (rows?)
and how did you do that?

+1 (it's true 9 shortcuts it's not enought)

Sorry as a follow up I decide to remove the clock and slider
unfortunately I was unable to remove the clock completely
(remove programs failed) Fortunately I had backed up first and
was abel to get back the original white flip clock with a cold reset and restore
I might have had more luck if I turned off TF3D before attempting removal?
but just as a heads up the cams I had the problems with were
No_BG.cam and No_slider1920.cab
I've also noted that it Doesn't look like the task bars with the two file solution
are actually transparent? they look solid black?
The pic thats with the three files TF3D 2.5 top and bottom curtain files
and clock 26 trans. looks more like what I'm looking for, bit I don't understand how you replace the single manila files with the 3 masks (they all have the same name. even though in different subdirs) but can't help but wonder if these will work with the set of "colored task bar icons" I'm using? (aren't the masks
specific to the icons artwork?
I know I've asked "a lot" and from two different authors, but I'd be willing to
bet its an interesting topic that at least a few people would like to know more about.

I'd like to have the bottom slider (the one for selecting tabs) semitransparent.. Actually it is in today screen, ma I'd like to have it semitransparent also on all tabs.

Back to the launcher icons. Anyone has an idea how to get 4 and more there?

I can't do this task!
After turning off the HTC Sense, I tried to copy and paste files, but the unit had the following message:
Can not copy 'Access Denied'
Make sure that the memory is enough free storage, the destination is not write protected and file is not being used
I am performing a wrong way?

WM6.5.x Bottom Bar GRAPHIC FILE?

Hi,
Was wondering if anyone could save me the time to locate the graphic file that is for the bottom taskbar of WM 6.5.x. I want to make it all blue.
I did find the top task bar PNG which for the theme I am using, amarullzBlueBlackTheme.cab which is abb_Taskbar.png, but cannot figure out the bottom bar graphic file.
See the screen shot that show my top and bottom bars. Top is blue, bottom is black, want the bottom blue

in
Softkeybarimage you will find the place and the name of your actual softkeybar...

Yes. Just replace the file in Windows, but always save a copy of the original just in case.

What is the easiest way to get the top and bottom bars completely transparent or to atleast match your home wallpaper image.

Search for transparent bars, you will have to find one that matches your manila version.

That's the problem I am having. I flashed the march 20th NRG Energy Max Manila version but am still working it out to see what all I can do with it oh and I believe it is 2.5.2012 Manila

That can be done and the thread exists in which that topic is being discussed. I've followed several different sets of instructions on HOW TO edit an individual icon from the slider tabs, and it really isn't that difficult.

I have a request. Its an image that matches the colorful stickers slider theme and i managed to track down the original icon set. I had a go at creating it myself. I replaced the image with the one included after i had edited it to be squished as you seem t have to do, however after copying it to windows i had no icon at all. Copying the original back it returned. Is there some sort of signing process ect required. Anyway attached is the .png image

There is a way, but I can't for the life of me find the thread for it. They are just simple .cabs, I had looooads but I deleted them after installing Windows 6.5.x as I didn't need to use them. I'll keep searching and hopefully someone will link you to a thread in the meanwhile!

Was getting a little frosty in my other thread..
I'm looking for a few things for 6.5...
1) A collection of start icon's (only the icon, no text). Also a separate remove text cab would be nice as I've seen a few others that would give a limb for one...
2) I've not yet seen any of these yet but I'm after a collection of animated load icons (you know, the win icon that spins)
3)A collection of stand alone volume skins. Have seen a couple of these but they always seem to incorporate something else (not that I'm picky lol)
I'm mainly looking for Dusk and Anastasia themed items but i would love to see what else is out there!

Thanks a lot. Tried but no help. The taskbar I use is from anastasia. However the Start icon change in itself is not possible.
Also the "Start" text written on the top cannot be removed. Is there a way for it really.
It will eb a very nice idea to make a collection of
Volume icons
SMS icons
Battery icons
Start icons
and customization of start text.

You can definitely, definitely change just the icon alone. I just can't find the damned things!

I've found an answer to that, thanks to dafunk2.
TO ALL OF YOU THAT WANT ONLY THE CUSTOM WAIT CURSOR:
No guys, there is no way to make a cab for only the custom wait cursor.
This is because the custom wait cursor graphics are into the file shellres.192.dll. Into this file reside also many of the taskbar icons and other miscellaneous graphics. If I make a cab with only the file shellres.192.dll and you install it, you will have my wait cursor, but you will have many of my taskbar icons as well. It's good if you use my taskbar (but if you use my taskbar you already have my cursor ), but if you use another taskbar....you can easily understand what can happen.
So this is why there's no way to make a cab that installs only the cursor.
I'm thinking about to make some colors variations of the cursor, but I think that I will make them for cookers (and who knows how to edit dlls) and I will post the 32bit bitmaps in the Windows Mobile Themes section.
I'm sorry.....but I'm explaining why this is impossible

This removed the 'Start' Txt from the upper left Start Button. I'm using T-Mobile US.
