overclocking problem

When i try overclocking with OmapClock.exe
I get error "initialization failed. reason: cant map I/O"
I also tried with Tornado PowerControl.
And get the same error.
Any suggestions

have you done an application unlock for your phone?

oh sorry i was thinking of tornado power control which need netcfv2

New error message: "failed to process power_backlightOff.ink

i think that error shows up if you didnt add an application to be launched when the backlight turns off. just normal (i think)

TYTN II - ROM Upgrade - Please help

Dear Friends ,
I have purchased a new HTC TYTN II unit and i have checked the HTC website and found that there is some ROM upgrade avialable(RUU_Kaiser_HTC_WWE_1.56.405.5_radio_sign _22.45.88.07_1.27.12.32R2_Ship
So i have downloaded that and tried to install it on my device. The installation was cool , it covered 100 % ,but at the end there was a error message on my PC " Error 270 -update error -image file corrupted " and my device continuously shows " KAIS130, SPL-1.93.0000,CPLD-8 " and there is 4 colour bars on the device.
I have tried the reinstallation - but no use , tried soft/hard reset - no use .
So kindly help me to solve the issue.

Download the File again..
then got first to tricolor(fourcolor -screen) and then plug in the USB Cable.
Last start the ROM Update Utility and go through the assistent
But next time, please make a thread like this, in the Kaiser-Section (Kaiser = TyTN II)
AND PLEASE DON´T TAKE SOME COOKED ROM FROM OUT OF HERE!!! You First have to install HardSPL by POF!!!

WM6.5 problem installing cabs

Hi everybody!
I'm brandnew on this forum, I didn't find anything on this topic....
I just bought an HTC snap and I'm having quite a big problem. Before doing anything I installed the update from WM6.1 to WM6.5 from the HTC homepage...it worked perfectly. After that I installed some other softwares like skype with the exe file, no issues at all and the programs are running good. Then I tried to install some softwares with the cab files; some of them couldn't be installed at all (Resco explorer). With some other softwares the installation could run until the end but with no errors but then if I started the program I got following error (for example for Galarm):
"An unexpected error has occurred in GAlarm.exe"
If you go to details you get this description of the error:
at Microsoft.AGL.Common.MISC.HandleAr()
at Microsoft.WindowsCE.Forms.InputPanel..ctor()
at ay.b4()
at ay..ctor()
at cy.a()
The same error for all program installed with cab files.
It would be great if somebody could help me!!

[Q] Error Msg after downloading wp7 for htc hd2

I downloaded the install for Wp7 for Htc hd2 phone and everytime i get a error after mgdlr load, " Readme.txt for this release is missing" . How do I correct that and get wp7 on my htc hd2, anybody please!

U mustve downloaded the wrong file for your phone ! Or the moderator has done some error
Download the right one and try installing

[Q] Wierd Error Trying To Install Application

I got this wierd error when trying to install an ai.type keyboard theme. "Incompatible with other application(s) using the same shared user ID" I'm new to this website, and this seemed like the right place to post this. Can anyone help?
