Remember I only managed to upgrade via a Destop with Windows XP and Active Sync. I was not able to do it with Windows Vista and Windows Mobile Center.....

I managed to restore all my data syncronizing the Qtek to the desktop.
I also tried to install SPB Weather, but it does not perform the download operation with the update weather.
Any reports about the incompatibility of SPB Applications running under WM6?

I don't know about spb weather but i have had no problems with spb backup or pocket plus or gprs monitor.
the only issue i can see is that if you restore an spb backup with registry etc onto a different rom that could cause problems.

only spb phone suite is designed for WM6 Professionnal
This is made for ELF but if following instructions at the end of this post should also work on ELFIN

How To Flash
1
- Connect Your Phone To Your PC
- Vista Users Make Sure You Have Windows Mobile Center Installed And You Have Established A Connection
- XP Users Make Sure You Have ActiveSync Installed And You Have Established A Connection

- Now That You Know Your Phone Is Connected To Your PC Run The Loader File Which You Downloaded (Double Click On Click To Run.exe)
- After You Run The Loader File A Black Screen Will Pop Up On Your PC
- Follow The Steps 1 and 2 On The Black Screen (You Will Only Complete Steos 1 and 2, Step 3 Is Not Needed And Does Not Work)
- After You Complete Step 2 On The You Should Have An All White Screen On Your Touch
- If You Have An All White Screen On Your Touch You Are Done
- Now Just Run The ROMUpdateUtility.exe That You Downloaded With The Rom (Make sure your phone is in the white screen)

I don't think this rom needs any screenshots
anyway the rom looks like this and has all apps except Camera, Audio booster and has a newver Opera then http://www.htc.com/www/product.aspx?id=63828
So here is a little feedback.
1. Flashing was perfect as useall
2. After the flashing, the reboot and the install of WM6, here are the counters

Still testing, Everything work fine on my Elfin (After install Chinese support package and some registry tewak Traditional Chinese now showed on M2D interface), some findings here (maybe not bug)
1. The landscape HTC Album not quiet well using when scoring using finger to sliding next page in preview pages
2. e-mail in Windows live don't work after setting the account info, it keeps launch the Opera browser for hotmail, install standalone windows live package fixed this problem.
3. Wireless LAN in Settings always showed off even the wireless connections is established. and word in tool tab is blank.
Speed is really fast. Thanks for your good jobs!!

I was browsing my Mobile and in the root directory, I've got :
Application Data folder which is normal and
Applicaiton Data folder which is not normal I think.

I have a proble that I cannot solve...
I want to upgrade my opera browser from 8.6 to 9.5
I have the 9.5 cab (build 2392 -> http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=401643 ), but when I try to install it, I receive an error message that is impossible to remove the previous version of Opera, and the installation ends.
The problem is that Opera 8.6 is not listed in the installed applications!!!
Do you know how can I uninstall the old Opera?

Now, I have ROM named c_shekhar WM3.18.931aCS WWE ROM, before that it was ROM Bepe 0.67.
And after update I have problem with runnig of iGO 2006 or other name OnCourse. Programm ever not tried to start. I tap on exe file and noting. Reinstall not given anything.
Somebody has same problem? How it can be resolve?

IGO 8.0 not work too. IGO 8.3.2 work, but I don't like it version.
Conflict`
there seems to be a conflict between the HTC Home item and iGO2006 - once you have disabled the HTC Home item, iGO2006 will run as if nothing had happened -
(it's always better using the older reliable version rather than installing an updated fat and resources hungry version, I reckon..)
use this igo .exe file, overwrite after install the existing igo.exe in pda

hello i have a samsung gt-c6625 and i was planing to use igo on it but i have a probleme..i copy igo on my storage card and when i wana run the .exe from my phone nothing happens actualy i can`t see any exe in my phone! why?
i'm using windows 6.1 on my touch pro 2, i installed opera mobile 9.7 about a week ago and then unistalled it, i want to install it again and it always comes up with a message saying
the previous version pf opera software opera mobile will be removed before the new one is installed. select ok to continue or cancel to quit.,
i uninstalled it properly thgouth windows remove programs function, so i select okay and another message pops up
the previous version of opera software opera mobile cannot be removed. do you want to continue installing opera software opera mobile?
i select yer and it finishes installation but then says that it was unsucsessful,
i tried to find all traces of opera mobile through application data, program files etc but no luck,
i've tried installing off storage card and off the device but no luck and tried moving it to different places but it still gives me the same message?? anything i can do to install it?
