Hello, is it possible to change a NV Item by using a cab file , for instance?
I can change it by using QPST/QXDM but I'm wondering if a cab file could do the trick.
Tks,
Jeffrey
any clue? please!
Hypothetically it's possible and some vendors have left backdoors to access NVRAM from the OS, but I doubt there's a tool readily available that exploits these. So short answer is: no
do you know any AT command that would sticky the phone to GSM only? I tried a lot of them (AT+BANDSEL, etc etc..) none seems to work..
I'm trying to lock one MSM 7201 to gsm mode... I can do it using QPST/QXDM but I want to do this in the windows mobile.... tks!
Hello,
First, sorry if I put this in the wrong section but I have searched and cant seem to find an answer anywhere else.
Is anyone else having a problem getting QXDM to start up? I have had it on my computer for about 3-4 months now and have used it a few times (Last time I remember for sure using it was about 3 weeks ago) I tried to use it today and I get an error after the little QXDM box pops up in the middle of my screen now. The error reads "Error initializing DIAG server" I tried uninstalling the program and re-installing but that does not help either. I am pretty sure it is version 3.09.19, is it maybe an old outdated version now?? Does anyone have a link to a newer one if that is the case? I just can't think of anything I have done to my computer recently that would have caused this problem? Does know what caused this and can help me fix it please?
Thanks in advance guys, you rock! I have learned alot from here but I am still a little bit of a noob so please do not laugh
****NEVERMIND*****

Click to collapse
Copy the BIN folder from the QXDM to the desktop and try opening that from there.

Running as administrator actually giving the problem. If i click it straight way, it opens but fields are greyed out in NV browser.

Managed to run QXDM without administrator privileges and get the fields in NV browser to become editable, provided that QPST has connected to the target port (not port that keeps switching and cause phone to reboot repetitively. This previous condition was fixed by flashing another Android 4.1.2-based ROM over the previous 2.3.5-based ROM). Learnt that the editable value in "Input" column becomes editable with a 3-click command from mouse.
I am facing issue with I can try qxdm installation but once running it, it is showing qxdm tool is already installed. If u know any one please help me quickly and ASAP.

Follow detail step and pic:
1. enable DM mode for M8 by ##634# -> Diag -> enable diag mode
2. link to PC (windows 8.1), and can found 3 port and 1 unavailable port:
http://1drv.ms/1wI6SEk
3. after open QPST, couldn't recogonize :
http://1drv.ms/1xAdS2I
4. don't know whether unavailable port is importanct, I need get a driver, after checked, I use follow tools to install winusb driver for the port
http://zadig.akeo.ie/
5. unfortunately, after install driver, same issue, change older verson for QPST, can found usb/QC diagnostic ports, but display "no phone":

Now I have no any idea. Only want to link M8 by QPST.

Qualcomm 9008 bricked Pixel-diag port
Hi, I know that this is an old post, but I have a bricked pixel phone and have been trying to use qpst to reinstall os. So far no luck since the elf and XML files can't be found. One of the other ways I was going to try was to open the diag port and then try to use Linux to write the os files to the partitions. However, I haven't been able get the diag port open. How did you get the port opened?
