Odd Problem with Radio

After upgrading my Tornado (O2 XDA Phone) to WM6 I have had problems with Radio. I use a analog Dual Sim, so I turn Flight Mode on and off to switch between the two Sim Cards. But after upgrading, when I switch to one certain of the two sims, it logs onto the GSM network but I'm unable to do phone calls, send sms etc. I have to reboot to get back GSM functionality. Further more, GPRS connection with this sim is impossible all the time, even after rebooting ("the remote party has ended this connection"). With the otcher sim, everything is allright and with another phone with WM5 everything works with both sim cards.
If searched and tried all combinations of different ROMs and Radio versions, but nothing helped, even downgrading to WM5 didn't (I think the original Radio wasn't included in the WM5 Rom).
Has anybody a clue, how to get it working?

u should be update gsm(radio version) to more lvl,i think.
i am is 4.1.13.28 now. have NOT any problem.
i have same problem("the remote party has ended this connection") too when use 4.0.13.20

Will this radio work with Qtek 8310? And where did you find it?

i dont know that the radio can work or NOT on Qtek .

Problem with Windows Mobile 6.1 official upgrade

hi,
i've a big big problem. i made the official upgrade to WM6.1 for my tytn II (italian) but once finished it was set under HSDPA. I disabled HSDPA and i turned to 3G.
with the old rom (official wm6) i disabled 3G by setting GSM following this path:
Comm manager -> options -> phone -> banda (i don't know the english translation, i think is band). under that panel i selected GSM and the phone turned to GSM, with G icon in the home screen
if i do the same thing with the new rom the phone freeze, and 10-15 seconds after a message says: cant switch band, try later.
i tried many times but the problem remains, i also tried to install the rom update again and again.
can you help me? 3G doesn't work fine where i live, so it's important to set GSM
someone told me that changing the radio rom (it has the original one) can solve the problem, can you give me some advice?

Same thing happened to me, restarted and tried again and it worked.

different radios yeild different signal strengths depending on location. try different wm6.1 radios and see if there is one that gives you better connection strength. go here for a list of radios:

HELP! Flashed O2 Orbit 2 but now No Service!

Hi guys, just flashed my first ROM and everything appears as it should phone wise except for the fact I have no service at all for my network (o2).
I am quite worried, i have already run the connection setup and restarted my device but nothing
When i flashed, i used the Polaris_WWE_0[1].67_Premium_bepe rom and Polaris_Radio_1.58.21.23
Please help quickly!

Have you tried reflashing or a hard reset to see if this solves the problem?

I reflashed the radio ROM with a new version - still no luck.
Then i noticed a thread about problems with handsets in Russia receiving no signal after a re-flash and i downloaded a Radio that was suggested there.
Now my signal is back to normal!!!

Did the 02 customization run once you flashed the orbit 2, as I have flashed mine a few time and the customization run every time.
If it didnt I have the universal installer for putting the 02 setting back on.
Let me know.
Also have you checked in the Settings / Phone / Network for Network Selection should be on Automatic....

I dont know if you saw my above message but i got everything working ok, it was to do with the radio i installed. Basically it wasn't allowing me to pick up an O2 signal. I could find Orange and Vodafone though. I assume that the particular radio caused a weak signal in the UK and O2 coverage in my area must be quite poor.
When i installed the radio mentioned in the thread about Russian poor recpetion everything was good.
In my case the o2 customization did not run when i reflashed but maybe that was coincidental because i ran it manually and still no good.
I would be interested in having the universal installer to reset back to O2 just incase.
Would you be able to upload for me?

3G Problem With My Kaiser (tytn ii)....pls respond quickly

It has been now 3 days till my kaiser's problem with 3G.....and only 3G.
it works fine when changing band to GSM but on 3G no service or service ok but no dialling process succeded....
notes:
1- i changed my radio tried 1.65 & 1.70 still same problem.
2- i changed my entire rom (6.0,6.1 & 6.5) still same problem.
3- i changed my sim with new one same problem.
4- i changed my network operator from etisalat to vodafone, still same problem.
5- i tried in different locations with N95 in other hand to check network.
Questions:
1- Does it hardware issue or software issue?
2- If software what is the solution?
3- If Hardware..does anyone had this issue and get it solved and.... for how much?....and does it happened again after fixing....as i read that it is expensive to fix...and it will happen again.
PLEASE HELP ME!!!!!

Eten X650 GSM problem

I have eten X650 and I have a problem with GSM. Currently I have uploaded rom x650_34J_G_light_12.2_WWE. I tried a few other roms and official but will not turn on GSM. I ended ideas and if at all possible to somehow fix it?
the message "a wireless radio must be attached to use the phone"
Do not know if this is normal but the test shows the X600 service menu.
The same SW version is X600 Booter.
GSM module test passes without problem and even the green LED lights up but the version number and IMEI showing something wrong.
The B&E Info IMEI shows and is already normally pass.
Unfortunately, the restrictions can not insert pictures and video.
Maybe this information will help diagnose the problem and possible ideas for the repair.
