now my herald only goto bootmode
what can i do?
please help
thanks very much
This happened to me once before.
I got my hands on the latest official tmobile wing rom, (you can snag it off the tmobile.com , or someone has it on here.)
connect ppc to pc via active sync
wait for all that crap to connect
open the ruu
and it should flash back to stock.
If not, then hard reset ppc, see if that does anything.
then do the previous.
hope this helps.
Don't post 4 new threads, all about you. You posted 3 threads in the ROM Development section, and I don't think you're "Developing" a ROM. And you posted the same thread in both the ROM Development AND the Herald forums.
I know you're stuck, but just post one thread, in the right location, and then someone will help you. Posting 4 threads doesn't make a difference.

yes you right but:
ok whats exactly i mus to do for my device?
thanks sir
Obviously he doesn't know or he would have given you the solution. Unfortunately I don't have the solution either. You're probably going to have to Goldcard it. Search for it.
He is right though, cross-posting is a big no-no.

Read MSDN. Win CE 5.0 boot process is described there.

then I think you have to try flash a original ROM suit your device in boot-loader.
also doesn't work...
I think I need to find a way to downgrade SPL or even re-install my existing SPL (2.20)
i just learnt that very important before to flash ROM:
REMOVE SD Card (Maybe only MicroHCSD, but I think better to remove all SD Card)
Hi Andrew,
I just bought my Touch and got stuck at this screen when trying to upload a new ROM to it.
Thanks for this tip, man. I've saved me.
Regards!
Paulo.
TyTN II is frozen at the Smart Mobility screen and restarts constantly
My TyTN II is frozen at the Smart Mobility screen and restarts constantly. I have tried soft restart, hard restart and nothing changes. When it happened I had to soft reset my phone after my "Phone in the phone" stopped working proplerly. I hit the soft reset button and the it just freezes in Smart Mobility and then restarts, vibrates, freezes and etc.. Soft restet does not do anyting, hard reset goes through the process of cleaning and reseting and then nothing, the same problem keeps coming up. Does anyone have any ideas?
did you tried to flash an original ROM from manufacturer in the tricolor boot-loader ? i think this is the only way to make it work again first, although I didn't tried b4.
i think the root cause is, your ROM is incomplete or corrupted, you can't update any 3rd party ROM because only special 'blank' boot-loader will eat 'em. so, what you need to do is to find an original ROM suit your hardware.
What works on the Hermes
Downloading the original rofrom my carrier AT&T & installing has worked atleast 4 to 5 times for me.
Continue...
How to flash back the original HTC ROM ?
Or, when your ROM data have problem, it can boot to tricolors boot-loader only.
1, Make sure your HTC Touch is on the tricolors RUU boot-loader, and being connected to your PC.
2, download and run the ROM image from HTC site, it works for my HTC Touch (Soft Black)
http://www.dopodasia.com/download/RUU_Elfin_DOPODASIA_WWE_2.20.707.1B_4.1.13.51_03.07.90_BLUE_Ship_Reduced.exe
3, Suppose it can regonize your Touch.
4, Continue and let it goes through the process in your Touch and your PC.
5, Congratulations !
6, ROM version 2.20.707.1B is flashed to your HTC Touch.
thanks but i stuck at end tooo

You can enter bootloader by doing this:
Hold down the camera button and reset device with the stylus. Release the reset and continue holding the camera button until you see a tricolor bootloader screen.

This is the tricolor RUU boot-loader:
1) Disable USB in your ActiveSync program.
2) Download and run the mtty.exe
3) Change the port to "USB" & Flow control to "RTS/CTS"
4) Press <Enter> once and you should able to see "Cmd>"
5) Issue the following command:

Hello akumalol:
-When you enter the commands did you receive a echo or nothing?
-The "password BsaD5SeoA" is standard, do you know if there's another for HTC Tornado?
Best regards,
you should see echo...
i think you have to enter right password to execute commands..
If I enter "info 2" I see echo, but when I enter "password BsaD5SeoA" I don't see echo, and I also I don't receive for the other one commands.
Any idea? maybe wrong password for my Tornado? How can you can the password?
hey dude i am not expert on bootloader, even in htc devices... i cant help u on that.. soz... it is just the way I fixed it on my vox.. maybe you can find it helpfull later... ;D

Hello I have a Fuze with the stock ROM and am trying to get USB DUN working on GNU/Linux with wvdial. I have tried the following wvdial.conf and some variations of it all with the same problem. I keep getting error code 16 "The modem has hung up" when dialing. If anyone could post a working wvdial.conf for their ATT phone that would be great. I can post the exact error log or anything else if needed. Thanks.
Edit:
Same problem as in this thread:

Try to install the ROM from the memory card also failed. I used a 256MB MicroSD card formatted in FAT32. I have installed HardSPL.
Data from the tri-color bootloader:
IPL 4.17.0001
SPL 4.70.Yang
Let me add that before the hard-reset the phone to work properly.
