Hello!
I've got the program Mobile Remote.
But when I want to connect my phone with the computer, it come up a box that says:
Resume the connection by pressing the Connect button located on the back of the HID device and try again.
What is this?
And how do I do?

Hi.
I'm using the TP for quite some time now without too much hassle, but one thing annoys me.
For a few days the selection menu is gone when you connect your TP to USB. Normally it pops up a screen to select ActiveSync, FlashDrive or Internet Sharing mode.
Now, it just uses the last selection and I've never switched on the "Don't ask me again" button.
I've found the USB to PC settings which do about the same, but even if I switch on "Ask about connection type when I connect" it just doesn't. And then, I like the TouchFLO popup better.
Anyone a suggestion on how to get the selection screen back?
Thanks a bunch!
If you go to parameters, connexion, Usb parameters, you need to activate :
- Activesync (synchronise with Outlook)
- Activate the functionnality advanced netwerk
- Ask the type of connexion when connected
Same here.
im too afraid to tick the dont ask again box insase i cant find it again. it does sometimes not appear though
Perhaps the USB cable you use is not optimal.
Do you try also with the original one??
As strange as the menu disappeared, it was there again yesterday all of a sudden.
It appears "fixed" but I must agree, it doesn't show every time... Definately...
My screen on my Fuze has suddenly stopped working and I would love to be able to connect to activesync with just my hard buttons if possible?
At the moment, it defaults to USB connection and that does not allow me to sync data onto my computer...my question is this:
Is it possible to connect to ActiveSync using a combination of buttons without the use of the screen? Please I need this as it is very important, thank you in advance!
okay, I was able to connect using memory and this picture:

LOL, now that Ive connected through activesync, I can use my mobiler as my screen is broken!
Hey everyone, has anyone else had problems connecting via ActiveSync after playing with QPST/QXDM?
In file mode it will mount the MicroSD card fine but in ActiveSync mode it does nothing unless I'm running the DIAG on the phone in which case it mounts the com diag port.
Ideas?
Thanks in advance!
If you were using QPST, then you had to disable the usb connection in Activesync. Re-enable that in and you'll be good to go.
Thanks but it was already re-enabled.
I think the wmodem driver that was installed may be overriding the activesync connection?
I'd rather not have to uninstall/reinstall that driver every time I want to use QPST/QXDM though
hello everyone... i find this is an old thread.. but i'm facing the same problem.. and havent found any solution yet... my phone doesnt connect to "windows mobile device centre" after i did sum gps settings in qpst.... on connecting cable, the phone directly starts showing "internet sharing" screen... also, the phone works fine as a "storage card" when i change the mode in "usb to pc" settings...
can someone help me plz....
Sorry... maybe a stupid question... (I've searched the net and XDA before posting it, but didn't find any valid solution, just some trace of this same problem referred to other Samsung devices)
The question is:
How can I make the option "Kies via Wi-Fi - Connect to Kies via Wi-Fi" work?
I've downloaded the last version of Kies from Samsung support and installed it on my Win7 PC. I also followed the "Wi-Fi Connection Setup Guide".
I start Kies on the PC and press the "Kies via Wi-Fi button on the GNote but my PC doesn't recognize my Note 10.1 and the scanning on the GNote gives no result.
When, in the GNote, I go to Settings-More settings-Kies via Wi-Fi I just get an Attention message ("Please use caution when transmitting information on an unsecured Wi-Fi network...."). I click OK, then there's a second message window on the bottom of which for a couple of seconds there's a Scan button that, when pressed, quickly changes to a Cancel button. After a while the Scan button reappears and, when pressed, is again changed on the Cancel button.
I can't make any headway from this stupid loop
In the meantime the Kies window on the PC shows the message "Please connect a device".
I'm not interested on Kies Air (that I think is another thing).
I just would like to quickly access my GNote from the PC (and maybe transfer some small file) without having to connect it with the USB cable (no problem with the USB cable connection: the GNote is recognized and I can access it).
The Note is usually connected to a Wi-Fi router on my PC, that is connected to Internet (that's how I can access the Internet at home with the GNote).
Probably I'm missing some setting? Or is Kies not working with this option? Anyone has successfully used this kind of connection?
Any link, advice, possible solution?
Thanks
Could be a Win7 problem: maybe connection is simply rejected since You can´t register and assign an Android device to a "home-network-group" which would allow every connection.
On my laptop I have an Intel-App called "MyWiFi" thus creating a peer-to-peer connection with Android devices. With this I don´t have problems to connect, BUT: when connected via MyWiFi I have to switch off the WiFi of my router otherwise GNote does not connect to MyWiFi .............
Better use the cable .......
Samsung Kies and MyPhoneExplorer

Thanks troed.
I see that my problem (with win7) is one of those of difficult solution (I had nightmares in the past to configure my Wi-Fi network and make it work).
In the meantime (following the tip received in an italian forum) I've found an other app, called MyPhoneExplorer, that works exactly as I intended.
It's not just for Samsung devices but for any Android device.
It consists of a client app to be installed on the tablet (small size: 564 Kb)
and a program to be installed on the PC (installer is 6.45 Mb and the portable program folder is about 17 Mb).
With this app files can be easily exchanged between the PC and the GNote through Wi-Fi.
BTW Samsung Kies installer (90.5 Mb) is huge comparing to that and, at least for me and for many other Win7 users, doesn't work on Wi-Fi in spite of what is promised and advertised.
For the second time I can't understand why a big company like Samsung can't produce a simple good and working app whilst single developers can easily do that!
(the first case is with S Note that, IMHO, is lacking some essential feature that other apps have and that prevents me form using it as my primary note taking app)
Maybe Samsung's developers don't use their company's devices?
Or maybe they have no interest in producing good working apps and prefer to put out incomplete ones to better sell their next line of products?

Actually, android supports bluetooth mouse so you can try to connect one to your device. It will show a crappy windows-like mouse arrow, I have tried it on tablet devices. For other cases like third party apps the device that should be controlled (not the controller device) must be rooted so that the app could do full range of work (swipe the status bar, click on home button, etc).
MyPhoneExplorer is exactly what I was looking for!
But I have a problem, I can't control my phone using it...
I installed it on my phone and my computer, I connect my phone via usb (I really need to be able to control it via usb, not wifi/bluetooth), then I can see all my contacts/phone infos etc... But when I click on "extras>control phone", nothing happens
Can anyone help?
Thanks!
Im sure adb debugging must be enabled, so goto settings>developer options>enable usb debugging , if you can't see dev options do > goto settings>about> tap on build a few times
USB debugging was enabled.
I found a solution: I connected my phone using Wifi, then I clicked on "control phone", it asked me to plug the USBcable, I plugged the USB cable, then disconnected my internet, and it worked!...
...for few minutes, then I got this error: "Couldn't receive FrameProperties".
Now every time I launch the application, I get this error
Try VNC

VNC is perfect! It's the first app that didn't crash!
Thanks!
