[RESOLVED] How to connect to ActiveSync without working screen? - Touch Pro, Fuze General

My screen on my Fuze has suddenly stopped working and I would love to be able to connect to activesync with just my hard buttons if possible?
At the moment, it defaults to USB connection and that does not allow me to sync data onto my computer...my question is this:
Is it possible to connect to ActiveSync using a combination of buttons without the use of the screen? Please I need this as it is very important, thank you in advance!

okay, I was able to connect using memory and this picture:

USB not recognizing :( please help

Hi there, I have this weird problem.
For some reason my S710 stopped being recognized over USB. But it does recognize when using BT. I am on a MacBook (also running winXP), but it used to work and sometime after I succeeded in making data transfer work using BT the USB stopped working. does this make sense?
What's also weird, the last S710 I had would only connect of USB, never using BT.
Not sure what to do next. please help.
thanks in advance.
So I managed to get the USB working with Mac, but Activesync still does not recognize teh phone when going through the setup procedure, it just stays at teh USB available page of the process. can anyone suggest something?

I guess you need an new ActiveSync profile in the S710.
Unplug the phone from USB first!
Goto CommManager, start the '8' (activesync). Choos menu, options.
Now press Menu again and remove the 'old' profiles.
Reconnect the phone via USB and now you should be able to create a new profile.

Cannot Activesync my contacts

I just flashed the OTP v7.6 Biggy with phonecanvas on my Wing and LOVE IT. However I cannot use Activesync to get my thousands of contacts in the phone plus my calendar, notes, etc. Any solution?
Please delete this thread, he activesync all of a sudden decided to recognize my phone! The problem was the fact that I was using a standard USB cable to sync. Although the standard USB cable works for ROM flashing etc, it apparently doesnt work for syncing. Now I am syncing with bluetooh and its working fine.
SORRY MODS! PLEASE DELETE THIS THREAD!
Ok, last night the bluetooh connection worked and I synced. Today its not working, again. I tried two different cables but nothing works.

go to start-settings-system- usb to pc connection. mark it, and it will connect your device to pc.

I did that and I get an error code on the phone's active sync now: Support code: 0x80072EE2
I read here that its because of the USB connection so I cleared "Enable advanced..."
Reset the phone, no help.
I am using Vista Ultimate + Windows Mobile Device Center
Trying again with Bluetooth, used to connect in about 3-5 seconds with T-Mobile ROM, now its stuck in Connecting... over 1 minute now.... and now its says not connected.
Rebooting again.... Windows Mobile Device Center is connected. Attempting to sync using the phone SYNC button (the button on PC is kind of frozen), says syncing.... YIPPEE, I guess its hit and miss.... ok now, last synced at 5:07... cool..
Still dont know what the issue is but anyhow it works off and on.

[Q] How do I sync to my computer via bluetooth with the touchscreen not working?

My touch screen just stopped working and I have tried soft resets and cleaning under the edges of the touchscreen. No dice. I don't want to hard reset as I don't want to lose my contact info and my pictures stored on the phone itself (not on the external SDA card).
I can turn on bluetooth using start and the keyboard. However, at the Active Sync screen, there is the 'sync' and the menu' clickables at the bottom of the actual touchscreen. I cannot get the cursor over those, so I cannot hit enter, etc to activate either one of those. Therefore, I cannot sync or connect to my computer via bluetooth!
Any help on how to accomplish this without a hard reset would be greatly appreciated.
TIA.

[Q] Sync Problem

Hey everybody!
I searched all over the Internet for an answer, even sent an email to htc, but my problem wasn't solved.
I have this connection problem with my HTC TYTN 2. When I connect it to my PC, my PPC starts charging, but on my desktop I get no notification at all that a device has been connected. I installed Active Sync, HTC Sync, and still didn't find anything. What could this possibly be? I managed to connect my PPC through wireless and using WIFI Remote (a PPC app). But I need an USB connection so that I can fully use it. Please help me, I've tried everything (I think)
