Voicemail replacement for windows mobile?

Hi guys
I've done a quick search, came across 'youmail' but don't think I can use that (in the UK on T-Mobile) so was looking for a program that instead of me having to phone my voicemail number and go through listening for 5 minutes to the number repeated etc. which isn't always useful.
Anyone have any suggestions that instead of your phone network intervening, your phone will 'pick up' and they will record a message directly to the phone.
If anyone knows of anything let me know
Cheers
it was up alot a long time agoe
back then 2 things made it impossible
first was that one could not record the user in the other end only oneself when recording
second was that auto pickup in phone settings simply dident do anything
not sure if more recent phones got it working though

Flashed Touch HD has dementia?

Hi,
I've searched for this, but got no-where. Tried searching phone settings too, but no luck.
Summary: My phone thinks it has my old number (07854xxx) not the one I ported to (07736xxx) months ago - is it losing it's memory? . I'm guessing brain surgery might be required - but where do I find the number?
I'd be glad if someone could point me in the right direction.
Here's the detail:
I've recently flashed my ROM with 'Dutty's SENSE 2.1 HG R0 WWE' (which has turned my dull stock block into a smooth responsive machine - I'll be sending some 'appreciation' later on). I don't think that caused this though.
The only software installed since is Yomomedia, found out about it on this site- thanks.
My problem is that Yomomedia uses my mobile/cell phone number to identify itself with the phone. I've installed Yomomedia 3 times now, once after a (unconnected) hard reset (EDIT: I hadn't used Yomomedia before flashing, or noticed the problem). Each time it identifies my handset with it's old number (07854xxxxxx), when I ported a few months ago to the new one. I haven't told Yomomedia about the old number, and the phone has been flashed since I ported. I guess the old number is hidden in persistent memory somewhere.
Where is my phone storing this number? Can I change it?
I can't use Yomomedia to it's best advantage if I can't associate it with my actual phone number, plus once someone else gets the old number, Yomomedia's to be annoying them with text messages...
If anyone can advise, it would be very useful.

Important question

hi,
I'm having a bit of a problem. Yesterday someone gave me his number, but I saved it under the wrong contact name. so after changing it I thought the number would be saved as well. But for some reason this did not happen, so I lost the number. Thing is, it is very important for me to recover this number.
My question to you guys, is there any way to see what keys I pressed to see what the number was, or did I screw up bigtime?
With kind regards,
Jeroen

[Q] Windows 7 mobile question

Hi all, I recently bought a HTC Hd7 Windows mobile as a second user, everything works great and as it's meant to. The thing is whilst looking through the phone settings I seen that it still had the previous owners phone number stored as "My number" in the settings. There appears to be no way to edit it. I have tried software reset and a hard reset both with sim in and sim out. Does anyone know how to edit this to show my number ? I know it's not a big issue with the running of the phone but I would just like it to show my number. Thanks for any help in advance
cheers

How is this possible?

Hello everyone.
(I'm hoping I've posted this in the correct forum, it did say general)
Right so, a bit of background. Recently my smart phone unfortunately died on me and I was forced to use an old Nokia (Nokia 100) that I've had for years. I booted this phone up including the old sim that was in it.
Now, what I've found odd is that when I phoned friends on this number so they could save me as a contact, on their phones they could ALREADY tell it was me because my name was coming up below the mobile number on their screen. For example instead of it being normal mobile number on their screens it was displaying the below example
07411 111 111
John Doe
It didn't seem to show up like this on android phones but it always came up as the above on Apple phones.
How is this possible? None of my friends had this number yet my name was still coming up on their phones. I have since researched and found out that the name and number could be referring to a CNAM database, but I have never signed up for one of these as I have no need or knew they even existed........ a little worrying now.
Any ideas?
Many thanks
