I'm looking to get a new phone, I had a P910i, but lost it in an accident, anyways, I want to get the O2 XDA IIs, but was wondering if it is worth it to pay the extra money for the O2 XDA IIi. Is there a big improvement in speed? I've seen some reviews and both phones got very high phraise. What do you guys think? Any good sites that sell these that will ship to Canada?
Thanks
hi,i hate xda lls.
dame dame hate.
im using it now.i wanted to sell it.
too many problem.
i only had it for 6 th but already send for service for 3 time.
Hi eviltuna
O2 XDA IIs look nice but the problem with the slide keyboard , I am sure you will have problem with it if you use it and the camera is not 1.3 . however if you are not going to use the keyboard and you don't care about the camera , you can get if for good price in Ebay from US site , check the " Simens sx 66 " which is same as O2 XDA IIs but with no camera and very cheap . regards

Hello,
I am new to the site and I have just purchased myself an o2 orbit. I am really happy with it but also very keen to understand how I can enhance its performance or tweak it.
Will their be a section for this phone?
Sorry if I am being impatient but I am raring to go.
Has anyone else got this phone yet? if so what have you done with it? Also where can I buy accessories for it?
I look forward to your responses.
Steve

Orbit and TomTom
Hi
i am very new to this thread, so hello and i thank you in advance for any help people are willing to offer.
I am going to be picking my Orbit up tomorrow from my local O2 store. I was wondering if anyone can confirm that TomTom is definately included with the UK models. I have seen on a couple of forums that some people are saying it isn't.
I think your phone is in the Artemis forum http://forum.xda-developers.com/forumdisplay.php?f=316
Obit
Hi all,
I have never owned an XDA but thought I would put a post about the Orbit that I purchased 2 days ago.
It is an excellent piece of kit .. By default it does not come with TomTom (I was offered CoPilot with a £40 contract but I already had TomTom so I declined. I have put TomTom on the device and it works brilliant .. it seems much more accurate than my palm version (probably more accurate GPS device inside).
I used TomTom for an hour today and my battery went down 2%! Brilliant.
Everything is good about the device .. the only gripe I have is that the microphone socket is mini usb (but I am sure there is a convertor out there for that).
The radio is good too (this also seems to have a minimal drain on the battery).
Hello there After realising that my Sony Ericsson K850i was not fufilling my Tech dreams after much seareching i decided not to join the hype and go down the route of the I phone or N95 or nokia E90 I swaped my K850i through www.swapz.co.uk for a Nearly new HTC tytn II Kaiser unfortunatly locked to orange.
I have unlocked it via IMIE checker to unlock i tried and tried jockys unlocker but to little avail, May be down to running vista.
Right i need to know About ROM's what are they etc the phone still has lots of orange branded bits start up screen etc it has radio version 1.27.12.29.
I am looking for the i phone type set up and to get rid of orange branding firm where etc.
Please help whats the best ROM and sorftware should i be running I have ordered a 8gb card for it and have Tom Tom 6 ready to go on it.
Should I be running WM 6.1

OK thanks mike getting to grips with some of it.
still certain asspects bugging me but I will have to sit and do some reading.
I lost my JasJar last Thursday (it was stolen)
So went out and got myself an HTC Touch Cruise AKA HTC Polaris. My wish list as of now is accomplished.!!!
So moving out of this forum, but wanted to say a big THANKS to all the ROM developers and others in this group.
Thanks once again and good luck to all.
I just received a Kaiser in the mail that I bought off eBay... I now have 7 HTC devices!
2 Wizards
2 StarTreks
2 Hermes
1 Kaiser
If my wife finds out I bought another phone so soon after we moved... I'm dead!
But if she kills me, I'll donate all my phones to XDA.
