T Mobile MDA Compact does not open, need HELP!!!

Hello everyone,
I'm new to this board and I read nearly all threads about MDA. I bought my T Mobile MDA Compact 2 weeks ago from Germany. Yesterday while I was trying to change its language to English its locked. I installed Windows 2003 SE then device restarted but not open anymore. Now I can not open it. When I try to open it on the top of the screen it writes "Seial" and at tthe bottom it writes "1.00 Version". What should I do? I need immediate assistant; can anybody help me to make my MDA Compact working again?

Mda compact does not go into windows

HI i bought a mda compact in the uk now i am back in south africa. I would love to use my mda compact here but i am unable to do so.
The reason why is as soon as i switch on my mda compact it loads to windows, as soon as it gets to windows it loads all the drivers then when it is done it should go in to windows so you can use it, but mine does not it goes to a blank screen and says: (on top) Serial (bottom) v1.02
I have tryed to reset it but it just comes to the same screen what can i do to fix it and use in sout africa PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!11

Jasjar has gone to Rom Setting & I have no installation or WM5 CD

Hi All, excuse this, I have tried everything else including the i-mate site who leave alot to be desired ( I was goin through the process of upgrading my Jasjar to WM6 & did not follow the instructions asa you do... My Jasjar has now totally reset itself back to the basic screen without windows installed so it seems, all I get is a blank unpowered screen with v1.00 at the bottom, have tried plugging it into my USB port, which just says it does not recognise it. I have also lost my WM5 CD, so can't even restore from there.. can anyone advis me what to do next.... i'm pulling my hair out (what little of it I have )

Just restart the OS load, try in with the MaUpgradeUt_noID.exe , and that is it!

Oh happy days!! Logged into the main screen this morning & there it was, reseting your device from bootloader screen.... Now to upgrade to WM6
Where would all of us Mr Average PDA users be without you guys!

need help-are these windows errors?

hi guys
new to this forum and novice to pda mobiles.
i have imate jam with windows 2003 installed in it. story starts when i installed a ringtone which was running normally in the begining. today when i recieved a call, my ringtone started with a distorting sound then went silent. since that time till now my phone doesn't ring i.e it doesn't play any ringtone though i tried to change it.
secondly, there is also a "clicking" problem. when i click on the desired number it clicks and presses the other number, sometimes next to it or in any other direction.
are these windows errors or hardware? kindly help me to sort out. waiting for your replies friends.

i think these could be two seperate issues. Regarding the sound, if you turn the volume all the down, does it stil make a small click noise when you tap the screen? if so you loudspeaker is on its way out, i had this problem with my imate jamin (prophet) . i googled ebay and found a replacment for £5 inc p/p. it took 20 mins to fit then all was good.
Have you tried hard reset? (after backing up?)

no sound at all whether i turn down or up the volume. already did hard reset. shall i install new fresh windows? and what about the other "click" issue?

If the sound was working b4 it wont be a rom problem, but if it never worked after a flash, then it might be worth a try but with a different rom though. Sound like you have a hardware problem with your loudspeaker. Goto ebay and see if you can buy a new one, i did for my jamin

i know u ppl r very busy but if possible then plz u or someone direct me to the ROM fit for my imate to give it a last try before ebay.
i have searched the entire forum in these days and what i found is u cannot upgrade imate jam ROM to any other version of windows. i have read here that installing incorrect ROM will lead to crash of ur phone. as i said i am not a computer pro (am a doctor bought jam just for internet for medical resourses) i even didn't know what is ROM but now understand a lil bit abt these terms though
so plz if u or anybody here can just direct me to imate jam compatable ROM (or even to WM 2003) then it will be a great help for me and i'll really appreciate it. meanwhile, i'll try again to find somethign here.

Qtek S200 locked `no response`

i just updated my S200 at WM6.1 (WM 6.1 build 21054 TouchFlo Look II), and i instaled a pincode on the phone (not sim), someone messed wit it and tried to broke the password ,and wen i seen it after , the screen was landscape and wen i enter the pin code and press unlock it does not respond in any way, i tried lots of things, i think that is from the landscape screen,
how can i fix it? i cant synchronize it the PC and i cant HSLP because it is blocked.
wat do i do?
p.s. i know that that person did not broke the code.
