under what phone should i look under for the roms for this phone as i know t-mobile usually name them different than HTC does thanks

Is it an HTC? If not, probably ain't gonna find much here.
If it is, go to the appropriate forum and look for the thread on flashing.
Ipaq isn't a HTC phone.. no helping you here at XDA I dont think
He means the HTC Sable, just go to the main forums and go all the way down.
One tip that you should take is instead of calling it by ipaq 69xx just call it HTC Sable so that everyone will know that it is made by HTC.
And also it docent seem there is an update or a ported rom

Hi all,
Im probably being stupid and please tell me if i am, but i wanted to find out does no one make cooked WM6 ROM's anymore. I ask as i dont seem to get on with WM6.1 ROM and i still have a stock T-mobile UK ROM installed and i have to say its not very good lol.
If anyone is still making WM6 ROM's i would appreciate any links to these please. I tried a search but i never seem to find anything :S

My bet is no. Most people here are "power users" and "power users" are always looking ahead at the Next big thing. WM6.1 was/is that thing. It doesn't suck like Vista, so I doubt they will go back to the "old" WM6.0 But you could always keep your eye out. A Chef Might Release a WM6.0, but I personally wouldn't hold my breath.

Just go to the sticky FAQ (w/G.W.E.N.I.), choose 'cooked roms' en go to wm6.0 roms. There you will find some of the latest. And... next time please search & read .. At least the stickies.... Have fun.

I'm now active on this forum for a week or so...
All I do is reading reading reading .. did I mentioned reading?
Just because I want to learn everything. There are so many things that are for me, and I think for a lot of other people just not clear/understandable.
I really want to understand everything because I'm getting my pro in a couple of days...
But I realize that my knowledge doesn't reach that far...that's why I read a lot.But people here on this forum...the ones that are a (little) bit further in this knowledge are bugged all the time with stupid/boring questions.
So:
Maby it's an idea to write some manuals about all the basic things...
And maby a little bit explanation
Things like how apply a theme etc etc
also:
I think that it would be very handy if everyone just ad a little description about the program he is uploading...like what is it?how to install it?
So where it's all about:
It would be great if someone or someones would write soms 'how to's )
And make it a sticky one offcourse!
I hope ya all agree.....

I'm a big fan of "monkey-proof" manuals for people who do not have IT knowledge but still want to tweak his/her device.

Can someone explain to me how to apply a theme? i now have the beautifull T-Mobile theme on my MDA Vario IV and i want to change tis into the HTC black theme.
I've allready installed Advanced Configuration Tool 3.2 but i can´t see where to change the theme...

hi i'm pretty new to this whole modding phones and what not. i did flash my phone with the new windows mobile 6.1 and after doing that, i'm intrested in making my phone preform better, have useful apps, better battery life? and maybe a cool looking interface or skin. but i need guidence; any suggestions?

You're probably not going to get a lot of help in the General forum. I would recommend going to the Elf/Touch specific forum and reading the HTC touch wiki at the XDA-Wiki, and reading the stickies in each subforum from there. The stickies and wiki are where you'll find all that lovely info on skins, tweaks, custom ROMs, etc.
