What app to use for copy/paste text and automatic keylock?
Since Xbar’s copy/paste is not working I need an alternative.
I’have tried VitoCopyPaste but then maniac's Automatic Keylock is not working.
Do you have any alternatives for these programs?
I use an app called SmartToolKit. It has various functions - copy-paste and keylocking are just some of them. Try it out...

Its author says that copy/paste in wm6 will work in version 4, I've try it and it is not working, so I have to wait for version 4.
I've tried SmartToolKit but it is changing all menu and I find it little confusing.
Thanks for answers!
I really liked SmartToolKit but does it support S730 LANDSCAPE mode?
I installed it and as soon I open the keyboard the program goes crazy! What is that.
wait for windows mobile 6.1 , there will be copy&paste

hi there....probably u r using the latest version of Smart Toolkit. the rc09 version i mean. my advice is use rc08version. its quite stable and nice. u dont get the global skinning options though. otherwise its damn good. i frankly never use my phone without smart toolkit.....its got a hibernate and taskbar option too which are pretty handy.
and yes if u use rc08 it will work in s730 landscape mode
@torentonly
Bcoz I bought VOX two weeks ago...and really missed this feature...so i searched alot for this and finally got one.....Now em just sharing this with you all, hoping that you all will get benefit from this....now its up to them, whether they use crack for it or buy it!!!

Using cracked software is a calculated risk according to me. Since cyber laws are not very strict in many countries, people get away with it. However, when free alternatives are available, why not make full use of them.
Smarttoolkit is an awesome software. just play around with it for a day or two, and you will easily get the hang of it. Also, its inbuilt task manager, cut-paste,profile manager, plugin manager, windows like start menu, set it apart. Its almost like having a new OS. I'd personally recommend downloading rco8 since rc09 has some bugs. I don't know if they have fixed it or not.
For changing appearances, you get various softwares like chome configurator(which gives the sliding panel look), and various themes free of cost.
search this forum. I am sure you will find free and in almost all cases, better alternatives for your needs.
Cheers,
Akshay

Actually its a compatibility issue. some times the device hangs and have to reboot. I also used rc08 back then. and also it was reported by most chefs back then. But may be its conflicting with certain software.
BTW I think smart toolkit is dead. its nearly one year since RC09

i have to agree with u man. but i think the conflict is not with smart toolkit but with photocontacts pro. if im not mistaken, u too run it on ur vox right?
still the functionality with photocontacts pro is so great that i run it, despite my phone losing ram and/ or hanging once in 3 days!
i am running fireburned lite rom now. find that it drains battery quite significantly. how is the mona lisa rom compared to this in terms of stability and battery use? can u get back regarding this?

not just regarding this, mona lisa is the best when it comes to saving power.
yup I also run photo contacts pro. which is really awesome . I will trade it for smart toolkit anyday.
one more thing. do u have any idea about facade and its compatibility with 6.1? i feel somehow it causes lot of hangups which were not there when i was using 6.0and the same combination of software that i use now

yeah, doesnt work smooth with 6.1.
Hi guys! Haven't been on here for ages! This week my new WM6 I-mate Ultimate 9502 came, so I ditched Symbian and I'm back on Windows Mobile!
I have tinkered a fair bit, but there are a couple of things I can't figure out.
1. I bought the device sim free, and I'm having trouble setting up MMS. When I put my UK voda sim in it automatically downloaded some settings, but I think they're wrong because whenever someone sent me an MMS, I'd just get an SMS telling me to go and collect it off the voda website. I fiddled with it, and now it doesn't do anything at all so if anyone could give me a step by step guide it'd be great. I tried using this guide, but it didn't work:
http://www.3g.co.uk/3GForum/showthread.php?t=74503
I think maybe I need more info on setting up the MMS application options themselves.
I remember my Wizard used to do this, but I somehow managed to set it up in the end.
2. My pal has a Toshiba G900 and I have seen him viewing normal Youtube/myspace with all the embeded flash working. I can't remember what browser or flash plugin he used. Does anyone know how to view flash content within a browser?
3. What app can I use to overclock? I used to use Omapclock on my wizard, but the 9502 uses a Qualcomm processor.
Cheers,
Mike
No takers eh?
I think I have asorted the MMS settings by using the HTC installer.
I also now realise that the reason I couldn't find a qualcomm CPU overclocker is because they don't exist.
Still looking for a flash-in-browser solution if anyone can help?
hey guys.
recently i upgraded to the Samsung Code (SCH-i220), which is my carrier's top phone short of the blackberry they offer. it's got windows mobile 6.1, which is new to me but apparently already outdated.
i'm having a lot of difficulty finding an organized center of information like when I had my WM5.0 pda a few years back.
i'm looking for a couple of things. i was hoping you guys that are in the loop would be able to help me find them, or tell me straight out if i'm SOL.
1) under the \Windows folder, there are files for a SPB/HTC-like clock, files named clock_01.png, clock_02.png, etc. but i dont seem to find a way to enable that. I HATE the standard text-based clock on the homescreen and would love to switch to this one instead. any luck?
2) are there any updated homescreen-weather apps? I've tried 4 that I found here but all date from 2008 and none of them worked perfectly. as of right now i'm using FizzWeather, but would like something to go with my sliding panel homescreen.
3) is it possible to "auto-hide" the taskbar like we do on regular windows?
4) one of the homescreen-weather apps i downloaded included a WM7 sliding panel look that I liked, but it was taken out when I uninstalled the app. can this be downloaded separately?
anything else you would recommend for a late-comer to WM6.1 (non-touchscreen!) is also highly welcome.
thanks in advance!
ok so iv been using HTC for a few years now and im not new to flashing OS and such using different SW Cabs but i recently got a HP Glisten/Obsidian OS 6.5, well the truth is iv never been a fan of 6.5 thats why i never flashed it on any other phone, anyway im having the hardest time finding any theme to use on my phone so i dont have to use the 6.5 out of the box, iv used spb but i dont have really any options as far as widgets go and i cant even get it to work properly i.e. screen animation or completely uninstall which means im gonna have to hard reset at some point.
my screen res is QVGA but its landscape mode QVGA iv searched the forums and found many themes but im not sure what to use on my phone there is very little on this phone at all even though it is a WM OS there is a lot of cabs that dont work at all for me so i wouldnt know where to start as far a theme due to the way my screen is set up.
so any suggestions out there on what my options might be would be greatly appreciated thanks so much
I have installed SPB Shell, and have no problems at all. Also i have tried teh app called throttlelouncher, more details you can find here:

Hello Team,
I always been a WM user, and finally got a hold of a windows 7 phone, did the required mods. i noticed i couldnt find a program like magic call which used to screen un wanted numbers and sms this tool was usefull and purchased.
I'm assuming there isnt a program close enough or the same for windows 7 phone, overall i would like to bar and hide certain numbers and SMS's maybe emails ( i guess im pushing it).
i noticed an andriod app called vault does excatly what i require. im assuming im not the only person after this app?
is there such an app paid or free?
thank you for your time.
The public APIs don't allow it. Some OEMs (specifically, Samsung) have used their extra control over the ROM image (specifically, the ability to add their own drivers) to implement a call blocking function, and I believe some custom ROMs also incorporate this. Additionally, there are people looking into doing it using unofficial APIs in a way that it can be used on stock ROMs, but so far no such luck.
Thank you for the return message; even with modified ROMS this feature is not available?
IF so which rom would allow this feature? overall i have a HTC Trophy which has been loaded with a modded rom.
It may look like i'll have to get a hold of the Andriod phone for now.
thank you in advance.
I don't use custom ROMs; I hack the stock ROMs (and yes, call blocking is one feature I'm working on). Read the feature lists of the various custom ROMs, looking in particular for "call blocking" or "Samsung gen2 drivers".
I'll have a look thanks, but noticed people are having problems running the Samsung app.
