my duration is set to decimal : 5 and my options is set : 1
i changed duration to : 3 and then reset
the vibration on incoming sms is still really long... the above change did not shorten... and under options i now see: 11

Hi,
In my application i want to show the missed call count and i am reading it from location
CURRENT_USER\\System\\State\\Phone
and Missed Call Count value. All goes fine until i receive an SMS after missed call.
E.g. If we have a missed call and user does not dismiss it from Home Screen soft key and before that an SMS comes then this registry value is set to 0 though on Home screen soft key is set to Notification for SMS and missed calls
Can some one let me know how to get the correct missed call count? and Why this registry is set to 0 when an SMS arrives though user has an notification for missed call on Home screen.
Thanks for your help
This isn't a complete solution - but it's an improvement.
With this fix - the ring tone will play for a second and then be cut off by the call announcement. The announcement will be at a lower volume. The announcement will repeat - the ring tone will not be played again.
NOTE THAT YOU SHOULD ATTEMPT THIS FIX IF YOU ARE COMFORTABLE IN UPDATING YOUR REGISTRY.
Change the following registry keys:
HKCU\ControlPanel\Sounds\TTSAnnounce\Category
change from VoiceCommand1 to Ring
HKCU\ControlPanel\Sounds\TTSAnnounce\Script
change from as5p to v0p (that's v-zero-p) - for vibrate & ring, or p (ring only)
The above fix seems to get the announcements reliably, and doesn't break the set vibrate/set ringer features in the TF3D interface.
Hopefully we can find a better solution - that will restore the full functionality of Voice Command incoming call announcements - and not need this hack.
Another option is to manually overwrite the ringtone file name:
HKCU\ControlPanel\Sounds\RingTone0\Sound
change to \Application Data\Volatile\TTSCallerID.wav
This fix replaces the ringtone with the call announcement - and at full volume.
BUT this solution has several problems, including breaking the set vibrate/set ringer feature in TF3D.

What option is missing? It should be Settings\Sounds and Notifications\Notifications or going to Settings Tab\Menu\All Settings\Sounds and Notifications\Notifications.
You can customize LED notifications (toggle on/off) with BsB Tweaks.
*message notification on/off
*voice mail notification on/off
*call notification on/off
*reminder notification on/off

Try this:
Enable LED Notification Setting in Sound and Notifications:
If you want your LED to flash when you have a new message, missed call or voicemail.. well you can't as it is greyed out. However the following registry entries can be modified to enable them.
New Message:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\ControlPanel\Notifications\{A877 D65B-239C-47a7-9304-0D347F580408}]
"AvailableOptions"=dword: change to 15
Missed Call:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\ControlPanel\Notifications\{A877 D660-239C-47a7-9304-0D347F580408}]
"AvailableOptions"=dword: change to 15
Voice Mail:

I've just finished and uploaded my first app. It is called Missed Call Priority.
Using it you can check the priority of the call you missed (and how long a caller tried to reach you in seconds).
Features:
- Missed call priority notifications,
- Different blinking led color for every priority,
- Different icon color for every priority,
- List with history calls.
How to use it:
After missing a call click on the Missed Call Priority notification. Native, android call list will be shown. Click 'back' button on your phone to get recently missed call priorities with calling duration.

I'll be grateful for comments / bugs descriptions / suggestions.
This is related to Google Messages, the application to send and receive SMSs and RCS
I don't know if this is problem with the POCO or with Android 10 becuse of the changes in the Do Not Disturb mode.
I use my phone for work, and I'm on call 24x7 for a week at a time.
I get the alarms thru SMS from a sender that is a name, not a number that I can add to my contacts. On Android 9, using Messages 6.4.044 Acacia, (but it was working as I'll describe with the initial version that came with my previous phone 3 years ago on Android 8).
This is what I was doing on my Mi A1 carring 2 SIMs one personal and the company one (I'm translatiung from Spanish, so the actual wording in English might be different):
Open Messages, go to the 3 dots an the upper right corner.
> select Settings
>> Received messages
>>> Advanced
>>>> Sound ...and here select a distinctive sound for all SMS different than the default notification sound.
Then open the conversation with a previous sms sent by my company (I cannot respond as is not a phone number, but I'll call it conversation)
Go to the 3 dots an the upper right corner within the conversation.
> Select Details
>> Notifications
>>> Advanced
>>>> ENABLE Bypass Do Not Disturb so it will sound even when dnd is enabled
>>>>Sound Select a Special tune for the Conversation so it sounds different from other SMS.
During the day I know when I get an SMS or if is a Urgent one from work because of the sound and during the night I could enabe DND and only get alerted by urgent work messages.
On Androd 10. The new phone is a POCO X3 NFC (Again the phone is set to Spanish, so is a rough translations of the menu labels):
Open Messages, go to the 3 dots an the upper right corner.
> select Settings
>>General (since I carry 2 SIMS one personal and the company one there 3 menus. General, one for SIM1 and another for SIM2)
>>> Notifications
>>>> Received messages
>>>>> Sound ...and here select a distinctive sound for all SMS different that the default notification sound.
Then open the "conversation" containing previous SMSs sent by the company I work for
Go to the 3 dots an the upper right corner within the conversation.
> Select Details
>> Notifications
>>> Sound Select a Special tune for the Conversation so it sounds different from other SMS.
There is no advanved menu, no switch to ENABLE Bypass Do Not Disturb so it will sound even when dnd is enabled. Only priority (highest prirotity doesn't bypass DND and also an entry to select what to do on the lock screen with the msgs and its content)
Result: During the day I cannot tell an on-call SMS from the rest as THE LAST SOUND selected for a particular conversation is APPLIED to ALL incoming SMS.
During the night I CANNOT set DND so all notifications from all applications sound, because if I enable DND the On-Call SMS cannot bypass DND and I don't ge awaken in case of problems at work.
I reported this thru the application twice; once in Spanish and once in English, but did not get an answer and I cannot see the report in my sent email box, so I'm not sure it was received.
Edit: I became Beta tester for messages, now I use version 7.1.080 Hickory but the problem persists.
I'm using IFTTT to parcially solve the issue, but is not the solution.
