Hello Guys, I've got a problem with my Polaris200. (XDA Orbit 2)
I already searched for the same issue on the polaris forums but didn't find someone who has the same problem.
Problem description:
5 days ago i flashed my XDA Orbit 2 back to the official O2-WinMobile-6.1-Firmware (GER). I had different cooked roms on it, M-Amine 2.0 was the last before this. Hard-SPL is installed of course.
At first everything was fine after flashing to o2-firmware but after a soft reset, the following happened: my phone is stuck at the o2-splashscreen, then restarts again and again every 20 secs. Maybe it helps that I can say that there is no status shown in lower-right side which usually appers ten seconds after soft-resetting the phone.
I already tried a hard reset via Bootloader Mode and a reflash of the same firmware, but the issue remains
Any suggestions what I could do?
Thank you in advance.
EDIT:
Finally I made a big mistake using mtty. The execution of task 2a erases the whole NAND... unfortunately my device isn't security unlocked so far, so that it seems to be bricked!
Do you really have no idea? Maybe there is a way using mtty.exe?
I think the main problem is, that the R+P+R (Radio+Protocol+Rom) isn't displayed at the splash-screen when booting.
Next problem is, that I can't use my guarantee because I can't reflash to original SPL due to the fact that I can't get an active sync connection because windows mobile 6.1 is not booting.
I could really need some help

Try the Recovery procedure. Remove the battery wait for at least three seconds, replace the battery. Flash again. Keep fingers crossed.
I did this before the "hard-brick" via task 2a...
I even removed the battery for 48 hours and replaced it... but same issue as before!
I m having 100% same problem. Tried installing different roms, even original orbit2 rom but nothing works. U r all requested to pls. Help me in this.
Thank u in advance.

hello!
Can anyone help me with this:
after 5 or 10 minutes, or even at the splash screen, my device automatically restarts and does it for several times.
When i try to put it into bootloader mode i see usb,..... but only for a minute. after that it goes out of bootloader mode and starts the OS again...
So i'm a bit worried that when i flash it, the bootloader mode will go out and the device will try to restart.
Any known sollutions to this problem? Any help would be appreciated!!
ps: no answers in the wiki nor in the forum.
thanks in advance to your replies!!!!!

didn't work.....
i'm almost sure it is a software issue... I just got it back 2 weeks ago from the repair centre and i got all new hardware....
I started flashing it because the bastards repaired it and putted on a French ROM and an AZERTY keyboard.... i can send it back but i don't want to miss my precious phone another 6 weeks
if i get it fixed now, i stop "messing" with it ;-)
Hehe...
I sent it back to the repair shop. They can fix it since bootloader mode also restarts it must be a hardware problem...
Last time they sent it back with AZERTY and French ROM so they can fix that to!!
Thx anyway for replying!
Hi guys, I got a little problem here. I flashed my kaiser to hardspl and flashed duttys supafast rom. The problem is that now if I turn my phone off and then on again (by soft reset or hardware button (not hard reset)). The phone does not boot up, but instead goes into the boot loader, quickly flashes "no image found", goes back into boot loader and stays there. Then i have to pull out the battery and put it back in, leave the phone without turning it on for about 30mins then turn it on and it works fine then. Ive tried flashing other roms, radios and reflashing hardspl. But nothing seems to work. Does anyone have the solution ? I would be greatful ! Thanks in advance.
have u tried the thread regarding the mtty option?
where this thread?
try this out. it seems to have worked for a few people. or to make sure u could do a search for mtty bricked.
however, i dont think u are bricked. just take few breaths and do a search.
you will be fine. good luck.
nope did not help it still does the same thing...... any other ideas ?
same problem here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=361045

I don't know which command you tried with mtty?
Try the command:
task 28 55aa
not just the command:
task 28
Hope this helps!
KOR!
Solution found !, Just flashed super cid, and now the phone works like a charm !
I'm glad someone finally recognized and appreciates the value of that tool
Hi Lads,
My HTC touch diamond is doing strange, one day I woke up and suddenly it gave me a Red,Green,Blue,White screen. As I understood it's called bootlloader or something like that.
I tried reset+volumebutton after that it is starting normal and Ive got my phone back, but if I turn my phone back off its gaving me the terrible Red, Green, Blue, White screen back.
Ive tried to do a hard reset ( reset button + volume + round button) but then I have to press the volume button again to accept, but it isnt doing anything then.
Ive looked for some solutions but everything is chinese for me.
I just want my phone back to normal and I hope I dont have to loose all my files.
Can anyone help ?
Thanks anyway lads
Well, if possible, Backup all of your Data using either SPB Backup or Microsoft MyPhone, and reflash a new ROM.
This is what most users will tell you to do.
I think once a device encounters the Bootloader Infinite Loop issue, the only solution is to Flash a New ROM.
and how can I do that ? I am really a dummie at this point.
But it still works only if I put it back on I see the bootloader again.

..better post in the diamond thread. I am sure you will get help!
Maybe HardSLP?
Any update on your progress?
Curious as to whether or not you got the issue fixed.
[If you can get into the Bootloader, you can Re-Flash your device.. just keep it plugged into your computer when you restart your device.]
check my sig for a n00b tutorial
i have posted this problem of mine almost in everythread but no one addressed my problem.i successfully flashed my universal with Tomal's V8.9 W.M.6.1 ROM.
the ROM works great but just 2 minutes, the phone shuts down.its like, the backlight goes dim, then more dim and finally shutdown.the only way i can restart the phone is to connect it to the computer via usb cable and then start it.i have a G3 device.and not just this rom, even after flashing W.M.6.5 roms and shadow_Nuxus's roms the problem persists.
Current ROM : Tomal's V8.9 W.M.6.1
Current Radio: 10.03.03
Im not able to use my device more than 2 minutes.
Somebody please help and guide me.
if you can turn it on again with external power i think you got a battery problem.
every time we do reset or hard reset can make a bad battery down.

Hello,
at first i've to apologize for my "bad" english (it isn't that bad though, but sometimes my grammar isn't right xD)
so, days ago, my hd2 with typhoon gingerbread, was working very good, but
then 3 days ago on my way home my, hd2 freezed.
i thought "well ok, then i just have to pull the batterie out, and put it in again..."
nothing happened, it always freezed at the android-bootlogo....
after couple reboots, it booted into "safe mode", which i've never seen before, but i wasn't able to do anything so it restarted itself.
back home, i tried to delete my nand, via original hd2 rom from htc-website,
but i wasn't able to enter the bootloader (screen with those colors)...
i also tried just to flash another android version, but they also freeze in the android-bootlogo...
so my last chance was WindowsPhone7...for some reason, it works -.-
but i dont want windows on my hd2, want my android back :/
can anyone help me?

In order to enter the bootloader (screen with those colors), you need to have hardSPL installed. Do you have it installed? If not, then go here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=939682. Read step "A" and follow steps and/or additional steps if necessary. Hope this helps.
well there starts my problem, even when i press Vol.Down + PowerButton, the bootloader won't start -.-
well without hspl, i wouldn't be able to install magldr 1.13
right now i'm using windows phone 7 on my hd2, but it drains my batterie in 2 hours -.-

Oh,it's this.I'm not proficient in English.I'm a chinese people.
In my idea.Wm7 and andriod is two different system. But,them are building on specially partition. Now,it looks like the andriod partition error. You can try to rebuilding a new partiton for your phone. And rebuilding the new system.
