help needed: auto restarts / no bootloader - JASJAR, XDA Exec, MDA Pro ROM Development

hello!
Can anyone help me with this:
after 5 or 10 minutes, or even at the splash screen, my device automatically restarts and does it for several times.
When i try to put it into bootloader mode i see usb,..... but only for a minute. after that it goes out of bootloader mode and starts the OS again...
So i'm a bit worried that when i flash it, the bootloader mode will go out and the device will try to restart.
Any known sollutions to this problem? Any help would be appreciated!!
ps: no answers in the wiki nor in the forum.
thanks in advance to your replies!!!!!

didn't work.....

i'm almost sure it is a software issue... I just got it back 2 weeks ago from the repair centre and i got all new hardware....
I started flashing it because the bastards repaired it and putted on a French ROM and an AZERTY keyboard.... i can send it back but i don't want to miss my precious phone another 6 weeks
if i get it fixed now, i stop "messing" with it ;-)

Hehe...
I sent it back to the repair shop. They can fix it since bootloader mode also restarts it must be a hardware problem...
Last time they sent it back with AZERTY and French ROM so they can fix that to!!
Thx anyway for replying!

XDA Orbit 2 stuck in reboot-loop

Hello Guys, I've got a problem with my Polaris200. (XDA Orbit 2)
I already searched for the same issue on the polaris forums but didn't find someone who has the same problem.
Problem description:
5 days ago i flashed my XDA Orbit 2 back to the official O2-WinMobile-6.1-Firmware (GER). I had different cooked roms on it, M-Amine 2.0 was the last before this. Hard-SPL is installed of course.
At first everything was fine after flashing to o2-firmware but after a soft reset, the following happened: my phone is stuck at the o2-splashscreen, then restarts again and again every 20 secs. Maybe it helps that I can say that there is no status shown in lower-right side which usually appers ten seconds after soft-resetting the phone.
I already tried a hard reset via Bootloader Mode and a reflash of the same firmware, but the issue remains
Any suggestions what I could do?
Thank you in advance.
EDIT:
Finally I made a big mistake using mtty. The execution of task 2a erases the whole NAND... unfortunately my device isn't security unlocked so far, so that it seems to be bricked!
Do you really have no idea? Maybe there is a way using mtty.exe?
I think the main problem is, that the R+P+R (Radio+Protocol+Rom) isn't displayed at the splash-screen when booting.
Next problem is, that I can't use my guarantee because I can't reflash to original SPL due to the fact that I can't get an active sync connection because windows mobile 6.1 is not booting.
I could really need some help

Try the Recovery procedure. Remove the battery wait for at least three seconds, replace the battery. Flash again. Keep fingers crossed.
I did this before the "hard-brick" via task 2a...
I even removed the battery for 48 hours and replaced it... but same issue as before!
I m having 100% same problem. Tried installing different roms, even original orbit2 rom but nothing works. U r all requested to pls. Help me in this.
Thank u in advance.

[Q] Random rebooting does not stop

Hi
This is a well known issue with the nexus 5. My device permanently starts rebooting. The google Logo occurs and then it rebotos again. There is no start animation. If I press the power and volume down bottom I just see the bootloader screen and after half a second it reboots. I can't do anything.
My phone is rooted (no custom ROM) and before I go back to the shop I want to unroot it. However, with this behaviour I'm not able to do it, or is there any chance? Does someone know at least, how I can boot normaly to unroot it.
thanks for your help

Hello, take a look at this thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2513701
Is this really a well known issue? What were you doing directly beforehand? What have you tried to do to fix it? Have you tried using fastboot commands to reload factory images? Are you a toolkit only user? Have you tried a factory image through that?
Sent from my Nexus 5 using xda app-developers app
sorry, i overlooked that you cant enter fastboot.take a look here instead http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2521691&page=3

Well IMHO it is a well known issue (see for example the wikipedia page or just have a look in tech forums). Directly before, I was writing an SMS and put it in my pocket (everything seems fine at that moment). 10 minutes later I just want to check my SMS and then it was already rebooting all the time. This was not the first time, I had this issue 2 todays before, but after approximatley 20 reboots it started correctly.
So far I was not able to use fastboot commands, since I can't enter fastboot. I didn't use a toolkit.

no problemi, i hope you can unbrick it!
Use this thread:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2513701
Or you can use this toolkit (some people are not fans of these but I am):
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2525026
I have never heard of the issue where it was only rooted and it just randomly decides to reboot and keeps doing it for no reason at all without the user flashing something that it did not like. So are you saying that you cannot even turn the phone off it just keeps going into a bootloop and trying to enter fastboot does nothing?
I don't think this is a really well known issue.. Have not seen to many support threads about this.

If the wall charger is plugged into the phone, the nexus just starts rebooting. I see the white Google logo and after one or two seconds it reboots. Sometimes you see the boot animation (4 circles) but after a short time it restarts the phone not able get to the point where you unlock the SIM. Trying to get into fastboot mode is also not possible. The fastboot mode appears but after half a second the phone reboots again. If the nexus is not connected to a charger it repeats rebooting for about four times after that just a black screen appears. If I'm not able to get into fastboot mode I can't unroot the phone, right? So the links you shared are not useful in my case
I have the nexus now over a week and the phone worked perfectly fine the first week.
I have uploaded two films of the problem to youtube, see this link. One film is with the nexus plugged into the chrager and one where it isn't.
That is very strange.
I would definitely use Madpiercing's post and link to http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2521691&page=3 to try and fix it.

The very strange thing is, that it worked well over a week. the random rebooting starts two days ago, first time it starts again correctly after 5 min. Now it seems to hang in a loop.

After a while I was able to get into the fastboot mode: I plugged my nexus into the wall charger for about 1 hour. Then it booted correctly. I had plugged my nexus into the charger before (over night) without leading to the same result. It seems that it just starts working correctly as random as it crashes
Do you think it is a bug in the bootloader or that something happened while to rooting the phone?

It's most likely a hardware issue, bad cache memory on the cpu. I'd rma it.

Nexus 5 Will Not Power On, Possibly Hard Bricked?

First of all-mods, feel free to move this if it needs to go somewhere else.
Anyway, I just flashed Cyanogenmod 11, after rebooting from recovery after flashing the zip, I get nothing but a black screen. Now here's the odd part- it is recognized by Windows when plugged in as "LG Android USB Device." I have tried everything to hard reset it but nothing works. My gut feeling tells me its hard-bricked but just figured I'd see what everyone thinks. Any input is appreciated!
Can you get into fastboot? Or recovery?

No matter what i do, nothing shows on the screen, so no. Oddly, when its plugged into my computer, Windows makes noises when it connects and disconnects.
Problem resolved. Finally after hours of trying to hard reset it, it has booted into the bootloader. Back to stock Android we go!

Nexus 5 Stuck at Google Loading Screen (Picture attached)

Hi.
This phone was working perfectly and I left it to go away to another country so it must have discharged it's battery.
When I got back it would not turn on. Even after charging for a day, it will not turn on.
When I have the charging cable connected, it goes to Google Logo Screen and it loops (restarts over and over again)
There is no error message.
Picture is attached so please let me know what to do. It was a gift so no receipt to claim warranty.
Thanks for any help in advance.

Try booting into stock recovery and clearing cache, reboot.
If that doesn't work then you'll have to unlock the bootloader (which wipes data) and try flashing the factory images. A guide for that can be found in the first link of my signature.

I just tested and I am not able to get into recovery more...I am not sure what that mean. Should I connect Nexus to computer and see if it's recognized by computer and try to reload stock ROM?
Phone was never unlocked or flashed...it was in the same state as it was bought.
Can this be hardware problem? I saw some reports of similar thing happening with power button problem or other hardware problems.

did you go into the bootloader, choose recovery, and it went to an android laying on its back?
This is the weirdest things...Spent days and days trying to bring it back to life and it would just reboot after GOOGLE logo. There was no way to get into recovery more.
I was looking around and someone said that tapping hard behind the power button with finger might bring it back and it did...so crazy. No matter what, I am a happy camper.
If you have tried everything, just try it...it behind power button and it might wake up the android that's been sleeping.

Can u explain how did u do that .what do u mean by behind the power button
I have the option to buy this device from a guy who has this problem and i have said to him to try the tips but not working. Computer does not see the device yet and thats logic since it just goes for 2-3 sec in bootloader he told me. Is this the power buttion failure or can it be fixed with nexus toolkit?
Price is €50 because of that and little damaged glass but i doubt if i can let it boot normal again.

Phone gone mad

Hello everyone. Hope you all are doing good.
I own a huawei mate 10 lite and problem im encountering rn is that my phone keeps on restarting by itself totally randomly or sometimes gets shutdown and then doesnt comeback to life for hours. Even if i connect the phone to a power cord when its switched off only then the huawei logo will appear for a while and then it again restarts and comes the huawei logo and this goes on and on untill youve the powercord attach to the phone and as soon as you remove it will again shut down and will not respond to me pressing the powerbutton. Tried opening the erecovery mode but it is also not opening. Totally confuse and upset also because their is alot of data on the phone and the only way i can backup it is when the phone starts. Any help, any help will be highly appreciated and thankfull.
