I am an Australian ADP1 user, I installed the radio update on JF's post. And as soon as I did this my could no longer get a data connection. I have been using my G1 data fine for over 3 months no problems. But as soon as the radio update went in, I could no longer get a data connection. The APN settings have remained the same.
The default settings for Telstra (http://telstramobile.custhelp.com/cgi-bin/telstramobile.cfg/php/enduser/std_adp.php?p_faqid=2855) which I had been using is telstra.internet.
However for some reason when I change the APN to the WAP settings
telstra.wap, a data connection can be established. I do not want to be charged the WAP prices, and have been trying to find the original radio image on the ADP1.
Can someone please link me to the original adp1 image?
Or help me able to connect to telstra.internet again?
Thanks for your time.
!edit! forgot to write in...what I really am looking for is the original adp radio.img file.
I'm in the same situation... Anyone have the original radio image to ADP1?
Unless the radio images are different between the tmobile version and the ADP, you can reflash the RC29 firmware with the .nbh file. Afterwards you could update your phones firmware as usual.
I'm not completely sure about this so maybe it would be best to get a second opinion. Can anyone confirm this?

radio fix
I know this is an old post but I'll update anyway.
it's possible you may have blown the radio on the upgrade.
However I would make an attempt to install a current radio rom.
those can be found at ppcgeeks.com
I'm running the radio 1.41 and am on Verizon.
If you are using Sprint try the 1.27
Another question
I am having the same problem with my xv6700(verizon). Everythingon my phone works fine. PC connection and wifi,etc.. My raido NONE.. When i try to download any program i get the error 120. Frome sprint,verizion,apache,utstarcom,etc.. Same thing everytime. I am at a lost for words any opitions. Any ideas or is it dead?? Thanks from a newbie Chris
Ok...
I have successfully upgraded my Cingular branded 750 from WM5 to WM6 using the bootloader method. However, my Software Version still reads TREO750-1.13-CNG.
Is there a issue with this? Do I lose any WM6 features if my v is not 2.23? My firmware is 1.54.00.00, so, it's ok there.
I also tried to use the Update method. I changed the payloads.xml file to the correct settings for my phone. Device changed to CNG (ATT did not work) and 1.16 changed to 1.13, and high changed to 1.16, 2.23, and 2.24 to try all I have seen.
When the update starts (after changing the xml file) the display on the updater reads loading files, then when it begins to start the update, my phone display says "Goodbye" shuts off like I had hit the end button to turn off the radio, and goes to a screen that has 4 horizontal color bars (R,G,B,W) and then the updater says that it lost the connection to the phone. I'm screwed after this point.
So, if there is no issue with the 1.13, then I don;t really care about the above. At 1.13 the phone is working.
If there IS an issue, then does anyone know why I cannot complete the update without the phone disconnecting from the updater?
Update.
After reading some other posts elsewhere, someone made a veiled reference to my 2nd issue with the loss of connection during the update, and suggested plugging the Treo into my PC while already in bootmode[. No drivers tried to load, so after a quick trip to device manager, and a reinstall of the driver, the Treo no longer disconnects during when the updater switches the phone into bootmode. It's updating as we speak.
The bootloader method does not upgrade all aspects of the phone's ROM. You need to use the .exe method, but you'll need to edit the .xml file that is created in your temp dir after the FIRST STEP of the installation program.
Search around. This has been discussed a million times.
Hi Guys,
I have a cingular wizard - unlocked and I have been using this image for a couple of days without any problems. I am located in Malta (In the mediterranean).
Since yesterday my PDA Clock started to work erretically - showing wrong time (moving ahead). Date is being set back to the 14th of February, and I cannot connect to the Internet through GPRS. I was using a TNT Image - version 19.199. I re-flashed with another image (Enhanced v4.0)and the problem with the GPRS still happens. When I try for example to update the weather panel I get: Connecting to my connection. Connecting to GPRS. After a few seconds I get an error- Dialed:"connection name". The answering modem has discoonected. To check the connection settings and change them if needed, tap settings. Dismiss.
The Sim Card is working fine in another phone.
FYI, I am using Radio 2.7.11. I also tried 2.19 UK version but still same problem. Should I maybe reflash with original T-Mobile Rom?
What can the problem be? Thanks for any advise / help.
Regards
Jezzb
Yeah....the same thing happend to me so i just flashed the tmobile rom and flashed back to wm6 and it works fine now!
Thanks for your reply.
I flashed back to the T-Mobile image but it still did not work. Did you leave the IPL/SPL to 2.26 or downgraded this as well?
Thanks

Could someone post the radio files for their XT720 for T-Mobile USA? I think that Cincinnati Bell would work, too. Loading the 2.2 openrecovery blew mine away, and I didn't back them up. Thanks in advance.
you shouldn't need to load any radio files with the 2.2 update. If it's not detecting your network, you may just need to manually enter your APN into settings.
I changed the baseband of my Xoom from GSM/UMTS to USA by a mistake.
No Idea how to reset this to european settings.
The mistake happened using the app "Netzwerk" by Phillipp Mangelow.
Since then there is no chance to get an internet connection.
All settings i can directly access are ok.
The above named app has an error and offers only "USA" as selection of baseband.
Has anyone an idea how to reset this or knows an app which modifies this setting?
Xoom without radio is not even a half xoom
Kind regards,
Willy
Try tiamat new rom, there is a possibility to change it back to EURO mode
Hi,
i use a international version of motorola xoom mz601 in india and have updated to android 3.1 and use the latest baseband n_01.83.35p.
after this update the band changed to USA band 800Mhz? i cannot use any network 2G or 3G and the motorola doesn't show any network operators.
i really want to revert back the settings.now how can i downgrade my baseband and what commands i need to execute also i have tried moving to stock 3.0.1 but no change in baseband.
any apk file that would help me change the band?
thank you.
Please help
If you are rooted, and if you have a previous backup done thru recovery before, just go to recovery, advanced restore and restore system only. It should bring back your baseband.

What I did was go back to a stock 3.1 provider firmware. Being in India I used Original rom. I flashed boot, system, data and recovery. At that point the 3g radio still wont work, Let it do the OTA updates to bring it to 3.2.2 and it will start working, I think one of the OTA updates flashes the modem and or bootloader and resets it to the correct band.
I could then go back to a custom rom and it was all good, I make sure I stay away form the band settings in future.
