Hi, I have tried to update using all the above methods Upgrading to WM5 clean image always fails, I am now left with a phone that will only load in boot loader mode, It's G4 IPL SPL of 2.2.0001, Is their a T-Mobile rom that i can put back on their? Is their a fail safe method of putting an image on their as it won't connect over active sync? None of these questions are answered in the reply! Thanks In Advance for any help!
read the wizard section http://wiki.xda-developers.com/
i have tried the standard t mobile image again, i get about 20 % throught the rom update and the device starts switching on and off? any ideas?
Your battery is low. Charge your battery fully than flash the T-Mobil ROM.
i have it plugged into the wall charger now, but no orange light is this normal????? and also i got to 95% and it started switching off and on is this normal?
thanks
Mashed
Your battery might be to low to charge. If it gets to low it won't charge. You can give it a boost or jump charge it with a 9V battery.
Take the battery out and connect it to a 9V battery for 5 or 10 seconds do this 5 times or maybe more until you can get your charger light to come on.
It switched off & on because the battery level got to low.
Hi!
I have a HTC touch Cruise for about one month now. Starting with last week it started to say that the "main battery is low, device will close" even if the battery is charged (even pluged in). I tried soft reset, battery out, hard reset, nothing. So I decided to reflash it. Now, it gets to the Windows start up screen but after I can hear the sound for turning off device, and the phone turns off for no reason and without a message.
The original language was french, and it was flashed with a english version and olipro spl.
Does anyone has a idea how I can recover my phone ? I have tried to load several roms, none of them worked.
Please help,
Thanks
I have the same 'Main battery is very low' problem on my TC, even when the battery is almost full. I have this issue on Bepe's ROM, ASerg's ROM and also on the official HTC WWE ROM.
It occurs frequently when I soft-reset. When it happens, I can only succesfully start my phone after completely charging it (LED turns green).
I think it must be a hardware problem in my TC. Switching the battery with another TC-battery did not fix it.
Can't you use your phone at all?
Seems like I got the same problem as you guys http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=402765
Any solution yet?
Is it the same on your side, that when you boot up with the Charger plugged in you don't get past the first splash?
My kaiser is dead not even booting with battery only (not plugged to the PC or external charger).
However when I plugged it to the power source it boots up and continue to the OS and boom (shuts off) in split of second.
I tried different flash and it propelry boots and got windows up and running when plugged to the PC with the old ATT test ROM which I got from the xda threads.
But with the latest roms it wont boot to the windows , it dies before that.
Anyone having idea what could resolve this.
In order to answer you, we must know the SPL and kind of ROM of your device. It maybe freezes because you did not hard-spl or because your SPL is incompatible with the latest ROMs. Are you trying to use a Custom WM 6.5 where you had an Official WM 6.0 ?
If thus, you should read the sticky about "how-to" flash ROMs. If you prepared everything well, ignore (and forgive) this message.
Simply do a reset of the phone. Hold in two menu keys and pres the reset with the stylis. Keep the two menu keys hold down until a reset menu apear at which stage you press the dial button to reset.

Sounds like a bad battery to me. The phone will not run off an external charger alone. There needs to be a charge in the battery to run. Even off the PC/

I tried official ATT 6.1 ROM and 6.0 ROM and both were working with my tilt earliar.
I tired "RUU_Kaiser_ATT_WWE_1[1].51.502.0_Radio_sign_22.45.88.07_1.27.11.31_Internal.exe" (i got that from this forum somewhere), this one is working with external power.

I dont think so, firstly its not freezes, its shutting down with the no battery sound.

standard 1350 mAh
This Battery Replaces: KAIS160
Battery Type: Li-Polymer
Battery Capacity: 1350 mAh
Voltage: 3.7V
Weight: 25 grams
Size: 62mm x 42mm
Battery Thickness: 6 mm
or the 2400mAh one
Battery Type: Li-Polymer
Battery Capacity: 2400 mAh
Voltage: 3.7V
Weight: 62 grams
Size: 62mm x 42mm
Battery Thickness: 11 mm
Battery Color: Black
It's just what you want
The 2400 mAh will last longer, but is thicker, so you would probably need a separate battery cover for that one.
The other one is the standard size battery which you probably have now.
Hope this helps a little

Most extended charge batteries are a lot thicker than stock, and they come with a new custom battery cover. My phone is thick and heavy enough already with the stock battery.
I have two batteries, one in my phone and another in my packet incase I need it.
Onlie Store
Can someone please suggest me good online store for buying the battery.
Hi to all;
I don't know the real reason,i go to settings,in Power submenu i can see just main battery and for backup battery it says: NONE.
Will it be ok if i update this device or i have to replace the battery?
which rom u have installed?
I have not changed the ROM,now it has windows mobile 2003 second edition.
By the way what's the best ROM for this device please?
Best ROM for Magician
Hello guys,
Everyone should try Cotulla's ROM for Magician.
(my Magician's dead though, I had Cotulla's WWE03,until a Vodafone HSDPA sim was inserted and killed the radio)The problem with the backup battery is that the socket can come off the circuit board(mine did come off, I soldered it back, then it worked)but can be resoldered easily.
Dropped phone
Dropped the phone to the ground and PDA backup battery was gone. Then I hit it in the desk twice and the battery come back ..
This is the reason maybe my qtek s110 to have a auto restart few times wen walk ...
I posted here about a week ago, before I ordered a new battery for my iPAQ 111. The battery has arrived and it still will not turn on. I've let it charge for 12 hours, let the battery sit by itself for 12 hours, and even have put an "inline" power supply to a usb cable I connected from the iPAQ to my PC. This allows it to remain powered on while connected to the PC (I was hoping this would keep it powered up while I attempt to update the ROM using the iPAQ utility). Although it stays on, it wont communicate with the PC. FOr a short while, it recognized it as an unknown device.
Is my iPAQ kindling for my spring bomb fire, or is there hope? I'm losing patience over this thing, I can't find someone that's had a similar problem on the internet. This iPAQ has never been used until now (I received it with a batch of HP computers I ordered in 2008, and stored it away until last week). So what could have happened to it? Outdated ROM? Then how does HP figure people can update it if the ROM prohibits it from turning on!
