When I have my Titan set to display NETWORK in my file explorer (so I can browse my home network shares), Opera Mini only allows me to save to 3 places. The first two I think are defaults from Opera (I cant recall the names and neither work) and the third one is NETWORK. However I cant select my storage card. I think there might be a limit on the file dialog within Opera Mini and NETWORK comes before Storage Card.
The only way I can save is if I disable NETWORK in the normal WinMo file explorer.
I was hoping someone knew of a fix or even a way to ALWAYS default to the storage card when saving from Opera Mini.
Thanks.

I have Opera 8.60 installed on my Herald (AKU 3.2). I have the cache stored on my storage card, and the program is also installed to the storage card.
When I am viewing a web page Opera will frequently stop responding for up to 15 seconds, then resume as normal for perhaps two minutes, then stop responding again etc. It is most noticeable when trying to scroll through a page as it will hang mid way through scrolling as mentioned above then resume 15 seconds or so later.
I only ever use Wifi to browse with Opera and I dont think its a connection issue as it always downloads the page i am viewing very quickly with no pauses during the download.
Has anybody else experienced this?
Yeah... I know exactly what you mean. I have relocated the cache just like you. I even push the processor upto 260MHz on my Wizard and it still keeps freezing eery now and then even after the page has downloaded just like you mentioned.
I dont think it has anything to do with the card, becasue practically everything else on my PPC including IE cache is located on the SD card and I don't have th slightest of lags.
Forgot to mention that I also overclocked to 260 using battery status.
It seems I am not the only one then, PITA isnt it? I am considering switching to another browser, shame because I like Opera....
For light browsing I still use PIE, which really is pretty fast and light on system resources. I use it in conjuction with SPB Pocket Plus's enhacements.
I only use Opera when I need to do Internet Banking.
For the time being that's all I can do.
I generally like Opera on my Jasjam. However the worst problem for me is that once I have used and closed Opera then Planmaker and TextMaker would not start and freeze the device. So whenever I use Opera I have to soft reset my device. I have also installed Opera on the storage card but the cache continues to remain at its default location in the main memory.
Regards
Try to optimize the storage card for file creation speed (or 1. don't relocate the cache from the main storage 2, didable images) because it's being slow that causes Opera Mobile to slow down.

Active Sync "files" sync directory problem
I have an 8125 with WM6 (XDA mobile 6 R2a) we put on it. Somehow this phone has gotten the idea the default directory for File sync is on a storage card on not the default location with the device memory. So basically when the memory card is out it will not sync and there is no way so far that we can find to change this behavior. If we go into the active sycn setting on the phone and select files then the SETTINGs button goes grey (even when mem card is in) and we can not change. If we try to change from the PC side all that does is let us change the default dir on the PC NOT the phone itself.
Is their some way to get the phone to think its default is back to the "Device" My Documents dir???
Any reg setting I can change. THis is driving me nuts.
ANd yes I have deleted the partnerships and deleted the mobile device active sync settings on BOTH sides and repartnered and it still
have installed the trial, used it, had problems and now purchased it, so i thought i'd detail out some of my experiences in case anyone else might be interested in using it...
installation doesn't use activesync, instead the windows installer asks to have access to your storage card, so either taking it out and using with a card reader or using the file transfer option the HD2 has. Once the storage card is available as a drive on the windows system then the Navigon installer will go through a wizzard to install the maps/languages onto the card. After it's copied all the files it will leave behind an autorun. The autorun will be executed when the HD2 USB is disconnected, a cab is installed to create the start menu icon.
I found that after this process was completed my battery life was terrible (losing 10% per hour) even when nothing was running, i suspected MobileNavigator was leaving someting open/running, like the GPS but after resetting and not running it, the battery life was still terrible. I deleted two files on the storage card called install05.cab and autorun.exe located in a folder called 2577 which appeared after the windows part had installed the other navigon files. At the same time i removed the app via the remove programs option. These together solved the power problem. I suspect that only one of these was causing the problem but because i did them at the same time i'm not sure which one did it.
Afterwards you can still run and use mobilenavigator from the storage card by running the .exe or you can recreate the start menu item.
Activation is a little clunky, it should auto activate via an sms message, but that did not work on mine and required manually entering the activation key.
during the trial (which requires a data connection for the trial period) the Traffic Live feature never displayed any traffic information to me, i can only suspect this feature is not available in the uk.
Burried in the settings is an option to rotate to landscape mode, which works perfectly on the HD2, 2d and 3d maps shown in nice high rez and scroll pretty smoothly.
MobileNavigator for WinMo is currently discounted on the navigon website:

As stated in the heading, device not found on Mac?
you have to swipe the notification bar down and then there is at the very low end an option to switch from "just charging" to "use MTP".....you also can activate MTP in the Developer Settings, which was a regular option under KitKat und Lollipop.
The thing is, I at least have to perform this step everytime I connect the phone to my PCs, it's so annoying, I still can't believe nobody actually is upset about it, there are no threads about this issue except for the one I made.
When I connected the phone to the PC it also refuses to copy data to the phone, not all the time, but especially when there are subfolders in a folder you want to copy. Forces you to create a dummy folder, copy your stuff there and then use a file explorer on the phone to move the data to the correct location.
Also, a lot of folders on the SD card won't show, like Titanium Backup and others.
Made me roll back to Lollipop.
Awesome thanks for the help mate!
I use AndFTP to synch my music from my home server to a my phone been doing this for years. Not a problem with a s6 since there is no external SD.
Now since I have moved my music to my external SD and changed the synch settings to point to the xSD, I keep getting failed results, I am most positive this is due to permissions. I recall having this issue with my sg4 (don't remember how I got it fixed).
I have checked all settings and can't find a fix for this problem. I tried a few other FTP Clients and the same results.
Is there a way to get this working without Root?
I cant even see the ftp files on my phone. How did you get there? Any recommendations?
