Shortcut to open up new Exchange email message - Palm Treo 750

I know that you can use command lines in shortcuts to open poutlook POP3 mail accounts and have it open up a new message for that account. Then you can fill in the TO, Subject and body and send it. That syntax in the target line of the shortcut file looks like this (assuming the POP3 account is called "TestAccount")
tmail.exe -service "TestAccount" -to ""
What I cannot figure out is if the same is possible for the "Outlook E-mail" account in poutlook, in other words, the one that syncs up with my Exchange server. I can't figure out what to put as the mailbox name in quotes in order for it to open up in that account and not in one of my POP3 accounts.
Any ideas?

20#"\Windows\tmail.exe"-service "ActiveSync" -to "" -body ""

Thank you very much!

Renaming "Xpress Mail"

When you click E-Mail and the account picker comes up, it displays Outlook Email and your other email accounts... among them is "Xpress Mail" with the email address below it. I'd like to rename that, can it be done via the registry?
Delete the "Xpress Mail" an then create a new one.
At the first or second Page you can rename the "Xpress Mail"

WM 6.1 Mail Command line shortcuts

I have a shortcut that opens a new (blank) email to a contact with the phone number already filled in.
Ie. tmail.exe -service "SMS" -to "01458725145"
But what I`d really like is , or the thread of that person to be opened, and be ready for me reply to them at the bottom (same as if you clicked reply on a SMS).
Does anyone know of a command to reproduce this?

Change "FROM" field in Pocket Outlook for Exchange account?

Hi,
I am using Pocket Outlook, which I have synchronising with my Exchange server, on Windows Mobile 6.1 Prof (Touch HD).
I need to be able to send email from two different email addresses (i.e. change the "FROM" field). I can't see a way to do this in Pocket Outlook. Would be grateful if someone could tell me how; I can't imagine such a straightforward feature has been omitted? I can do this fine within normal Outlook, connected to the same Exchange account.
Ideally, it would automatically select the correct address when I am replying to a message so that it matches the address to which the originally message was sent. Is this possible?
Thanks,
Richard.
Hi RIchard,
You can indees send from any account you wish. On you message tab on touchflo, select the account you want to send from, then just press the new message tab next to the envelope. Or go into inbox from any account, selct the account you want to send from, then menu and new message
btw, the touch hd is so tasty!! yh?

I dont get what your problem is? I have my main email via Exchange and 2 addtional pop 3 mail accounts. On the home message tab it shows 3 envelopes on the right hand side of the screen, one for each account. If i want to send an email from a pop3 account, i just press the envelope and it will send an email from that account?!?
You cannot sync email via active sync if you have an exchange mail set up, but that is your only limitation, as far as i know....

Hi,
I think that the problem is as follows (well at least I have this problem )
I use google sync to give me push mail and forward my company email to google (to get it pushed).
If I reply to this email on my PPC (from the outlook mail account) then the recipient will see the reply coming from the google address rather than my company address.
So, I need to reply to the mail on PPC using my Outlook account to get the original subject and the original mail and then change the "from" field on the email to send from my company account (also setup on the phone).
Even a registry hack would do; to always send from the company account when in the Outlook exchange account.
I've done a lot of searching and found no solution to this.
In need of help !

Deactivate the eMail functionality

Hello,
is it possible to deactivate or to delete the eMail account?
Because I use only the SMS and I don't need the eMails.
I'm using WM 6.1 on a HTC Prophet
Thanks for response.
If you didn't make an email account, it shouldn't be there.
What exactly is your problem?
I didn't create an eMail account, but I still have an account entry called: "Outlook E-Mail" which has no specific eMail server and address datas. I'm not able to delete this account.
I have the SMS entry and the Outlook E-Mail entry.
I use SPB Diary where you can click on the menu item: "New Message"
Sometimes the new SMS window opens, sometimes the new E-Mail window opens.
If it's not clear, i can take a photo to show this to you.

Google Sync Working In All Android 2.0 Roms

I have gotten google sync working in all Android 2.0 roms through exchange. It syncs mail, contacts, and calendar without the need for google apps. To get this working open email, and make a new exchange account and put in your gmail email address and password and then select manual setup. Select exchange account. For Domain/Username put in "/[email protected]" without quotes. The password should be filled in from the previous field. The Exchange server is "m.google.com" without quotes. Check both boxes below and hit next. Select the checking frequency(or push) and amount to synchronize. Select which options you want below, then select next. Put in an account name and display name, then hit done. If you have corporate calendar installed, then your calendar will synchronize and so will your contacts and email. Now you have push gmail, contacts, and calendar. Because exchange will only synchronize a month of emails, I also setup my gmail as an IMAP account so I still have access to my old emails. The android email app is not as good as the gmail app IMHO, but it is a temporary solution, and new emails seem to show up faster this way!
AWESOME! The best I could do was use an app to back them up to vcard and that still eff'ed up all the names. Great work!
This is just the exchange synchronisation option from android nothing to do with gapps.
