I have a shortcut that opens a new (blank) email to a contact with the phone number already filled in.
Ie. tmail.exe -service "SMS" -to "01458725145"
But what I`d really like is , or the thread of that person to be opened, and be ready for me reply to them at the bottom (same as if you clicked reply on a SMS).
Does anyone know of a command to reproduce this?

There is a nice VGA version of the HTC Action Screen (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=419708) but New Email opens...well whatever it wants to. Sometimes a text message and sometimes it just takes me to my email inbox. I had this with the old Action Screen on my Tilt also. Anyone know the registry tweaks to make it open a new outlook email? The settings are in HKLM/Software/HTC/ACtionScreen and it should be APP_0
I have a shortcut to create a new outlook email which is: 20#"\Windows\tmail.exe"-service "ActiveSync" -to "" -body ""
but I don't seem to be having luck with using those in the Action Screen. Any ideas? Thanks
Does anyone know the command line for RL today that brings you directly to my e-mail, text messages instead of going to the MAIL CENTER. I currently have tmail.exe which does that...... Thanks!
For going directly to Text messages
<OnClick File="\Windows\tmail.exe" command='-service "SMS"'/>
For going directly to email
<OnClick File="\Windows\tmail.exe" command='-service "ActiveSync"'/>
This will work for if your email account uses Activesync. If you are using POP3 or IMAP for mail this wont work. I dont know what the correct "service" name is in that case.
I look for a function which allows to see the missed calls but not this one (<OnClick File="\Windows\cprog.exe" />) because she does not allow to delete the announcement.
Thank you in advance
Anybody does not have an idea for the missed call?
I find <OnClick File="\Windows\LaunchMSItem.exe" /> but LaunchMSItem.exe don't exist on my WM6 Pro...
I know that you can use command lines in shortcuts to open poutlook POP3 mail accounts and have it open up a new message for that account. Then you can fill in the TO, Subject and body and send it. That syntax in the target line of the shortcut file looks like this (assuming the POP3 account is called "TestAccount")
tmail.exe -service "TestAccount" -to ""
What I cannot figure out is if the same is possible for the "Outlook E-mail" account in poutlook, in other words, the one that syncs up with my Exchange server. I can't figure out what to put as the mailbox name in quotes in order for it to open up in that account and not in one of my POP3 accounts.
Any ideas?
20#"\Windows\tmail.exe"-service "ActiveSync" -to "" -body ""
Thank you very much!
I have Wm6.5, and for some reason I am not getting any new email notifications (only email, text and voicemail are working fine).
The thing is, I'm using mNotes to sync my email from Lotus notes (don't ask, its a work thing) to my device. I know the email is there because when I open the message application, I can see it. It is marked as new.
Anyone have any ideas of how I go about debugging this?
Thanks
/Ken
Hello,
is it possible to deactivate or to delete the eMail account?
Because I use only the SMS and I don't need the eMails.
I'm using WM 6.1 on a HTC Prophet
Thanks for response.
If you didn't make an email account, it shouldn't be there.
What exactly is your problem?
I didn't create an eMail account, but I still have an account entry called: "Outlook E-Mail" which has no specific eMail server and address datas. I'm not able to delete this account.
I have the SMS entry and the Outlook E-Mail entry.
I use SPB Diary where you can click on the menu item: "New Message"
Sometimes the new SMS window opens, sometimes the new E-Mail window opens.
If it's not clear, i can take a photo to show this to you.
