Hello ,i m looking long time for Upgrade rom win2003 for ipaq 3850.Can you help me please?
Can i upgrade it without synch.cradle ,j have just usb cable only

I think there is no update for that model. Try searching www.hp.com.
As for the cradle, don't worry, it's just a piece of plastic. You can upgrade with a cable, but make sure your device is connected to the power supply all the time, and do not disconnect it from the PC until upgrade is finished even if it appears to hang.

downgrade problem

hey all,
i have tried to downgrade my qtek s200 with the CUSTOM__RUU_Wizard_1050412_WWE_101_11210_WWE.exe software i found here.. after everything went quite well, when the phone restarted, the screen started to flash on and off.. and when i dont take the batteries out, the screen, the power led and the bluetooth led turns on and off repeatedly..
any suggestions on what i should do?

Remove the battery - whait about 3 min. - plug ac power cable without your battery - put the battery - when the orange light on, turn on your device.
back to the life, but not solve the problem.

Sounds to me that you tried to flash a Wizard-ROM on a Prophet.
This is simply impossible, so you probably bricked your device.

well its somewhat working i'm on a prophet bootloader ipl 2.09 spl 2.20 right now and i'm using a crossbow rom from the wizard section right now... (camera is not working).
what you could try is cut the charger wire open and attach the inner cable to the first battery pin (physical top) and the outer wire to the fifth pin. then go into bootloader, connect to computer and flash a prophet rom which has spl and ipl included.
dou you have a g3 or g4 device? on which spl/ipl are you right now...

I did the same thing with my s200.
I remove cable and battery, insert adapter cable and then battery until I get a steady amber light (usually takes 2-4 attempts).
When it boots up I quickly replace the adapter cable with the computer cable and Active Sync works.
I would like to reflash it but I can't since my battery is reporting 0% always, even when the battery is fully charged and it's not charging either. (And I can't get into the bootloader either.)
@crOssy: are the batteries different between models? and if so, would your proposed wiring actually work? have it been tested?

Polaris won't charge!

I tried to use some "made in China" car charger in my Polaris, and not only didn't work as it might have wrecked my mobile. Well, at first it looks that it doesn't charge anymore while is connected (no charging light or indication on the screen), but if i turn it off and as time goes by the battery indicator shows that it's being charged when I turn it on again. But if I let the phone on it doesn't seem to charge at all. When I plug it in my PC it doesn't do nothing as well, I can't Active Sync.
I tried to soft, hard reset and put it into the bootloader. I have Olipro Hard-SPL and Bepes buld 0.67 opera edition.
Rom: 1.52.751.2 WWE
Radio: 1.58.21.23 (Original)
Protocol 25.65.30.04H
Any ideas on what could I try? Sending it to tech support is not an option, I bought this in Germany and don't plan to go there just to get it fixed.

I guess it doesn't charge with travel/wall outlet charger too?

HTC representatives in my country told me that warranty is NOT worldwide valid...

Looks like a hardware problem with the USB contact. Take a close look with a magnifying glass to examine if it looks OK.
I once had a problem that the the small black insulation plastic piece came loose and I had to glue it back to fix it.

I've got a problem that look like this one (sorry for my bad english, i'm french.. )
My Polaris won't charge every time that I plug it. Some times it charges, sometime the orange led isn't working when it's plug and it doesn't charge. It's very strange.
I've tried an hard reset. It's the same !
I've got the Bepe ROM. My Polaris isn't very old (1month)..
Some times, i soft reset it, and the battery won some %
I can't try the Olipro ROM (origin rom) because i've got a 426 error (connection error) during the operation.
Somebody got the same thing or can help me?
Somebody has already seen his battery not winnin % of charge when it's plug, and have to reboot it to see the battery charged under windows mobile?

[Q] possibily bricked - bootloader broken

Hy to all,
my Nexus S one day decide to not power on at all!
SYMPTOMS:
- black screen
- power button doesn't do anything (also phone not vibrate)
- no button combination boots to download mode
- no charghing indication when connected to charger or USB
- no detection in the computer when connected to the USB
After some days without battery, the problem persists:
NEW SYMPTOMS:
- when plugged on computer usb port, Windows 7 start to find Sec S5pc110 Test B/D driver
In a formum of Bada (I now is not my phone) Samsung support tells that can be the bootloader broken!!
Someone can help me to solve my problem!

Well, did you do anything to it before this started? Anything like flash some new rom, or the OTA or similar?
There was another dude a few days ago who reported his phone was bricked and described similar symptoms to yours, but it turned out his issue was just a totally discharged battery that wouldn't start taking a charge until he forced it with some homemade 9-volt battery thing. You might try a different battery if you can obtain one.
The only other thing, besides warranty repair, might be to get the 301k resistor jig and use Odin to flash a new bootloader image to the phone, per this thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=947950

have you had any progress in unbricking your phone. I too am in the sam state with my Nexus S... unfortunately I can get this phone back to USA & when I spoke to the Samsung helpline the crooks simply refused to help since the instrument is outside of USA.

I'm in the same situation - did you get anywhere with yours ?

So i have an issue, last sunday at a student party i left my phone in the WC during ten minutes. When i see it, i open it and take over the battery but with the pannic i broke the battery. So when i have take over all the water of my phone i can boot on the twrp
when it connected to the electrical current, but i can't boot on the system. I would like to know if it is because the phone recognizes that lack the battery, or just because it's broken. So Somebody may takeover the battery of this phone and try to boot it, to know if i have to buy a new battery to save my phone or it's definitely broken ^^
