Auto Lock Screen at Reboot? - Touch Pro, Fuze General

I reboot my Fuze every morning to keep it running smooth. I use a scheduled reboot program but for some reason it seems to be causing problems so I reboot manually when I get up. problem is that I usually place it in my belt holder and go instead of sitting and waiting for it to reboot and place it in standby. This morning I did that and it started pressing buttons etc and placing calls because it wasn't locked or in standby after it rebooted. Is there a way to make it auto lock the screen or go into standby after a reboot?
Thanks

[REQ] Force Reset

Sometimes my mt4gslide refuses to turn the screen on (sometimes when a call is coming in). I can tell its responding to touch commands, but simply not turning the screen on. Don't know why. My g2 used to do this also.
Anyway, I've looked everywhere for a way to force reboot. The usual power+volume+stylus didn't work.
Any tips? Really inconvenient having to take off the hardcase and then the back panel and then the battery every time.

Issues with Wake Launch Gestures

I'm using xXminiWHOOPERxX's v6 kernel and have a few issues with wake launch gestures.
1) They don't respect being in my pocket. Swipe up is set to flashlight and down is set to play/pause music. Often, i set them off when taking phone out of pocket, or putting it in pocket.
2) Wake launch gestures won't go past lock screen (I wrote about this in the developer section). So, i can't use wlg to open apps or unlock the device. No matter what action i have wlg set for it only wakes the device to the lockscreen.
3) Yesterday, after about a day of using miniwhooper's v6 kernel, my phone suddenly started vibrating and rebooting. It did this constantly for about 30 minutes so i turned my phone off for about an hour. When i started it back up, it was fine. The phone wasn't hot or anything, either. Also, i have s2w, s2s, disabled, so it wasn't the issue where people were swiping the soft keys and getting long vibration/reboot.
Thanks again for all your hard work xXminiWHOOPERxX!

Try this kernel with Sense 6.0 toolbox, it has fixes for these problems. Or you can wait til xXminiWHOOPERxX updates her kernel

"Force touch" home button stopped working?

An hour or so ago everything worked fine, and then I updated my playstores pending apps (only Fleksy was pending) and the "force touch" feature of the phones seems to have completely stopped working, no matter what setting I turned on or off it didn't work...
Anyone has a clue as to what can cause this?
General notes:
1. Using stock Exynos unlocked variant
2. I am using package disabler (which btw didn't improve much my battery life, but that might be just me using the phone too much ) so maybe one of the packages decided that it depends on a disabled one?
I noticed mine stops working after a reboot and takes about a minute or two to get back up and running. Try a restart after clearing caches, if nothing still, reboot in safe mode. If it works, then its an app you installed interfering.

Mine also stop working after I restart my S8 Plus, it will again work if I wait around 20 minutes. Is this software or hardware problem? Any solutions?
Wish mine would stop working permanently! can't stand that feature forever brushing across it and waking the phone up!

How does it act up on your part? Mine would just stop working if I restart the phone & I should wait sometimes hours before it would work again.
Every time i'm installing my phone in my car mount I need to hold the phone from the bottom to install it correctly and brushing my fingers across the bottom is constantly waking the phone up, I've lowered the sensitivity to it's minimum.

I see, problem is not the same. On my part the tactile home button simply doesn't work when you press on it. I have to double tap to wake the phone when on lockscreen.

Unless your phone is unlocked no pins etc the phone will just go to the lockscreen, it's a useless feature, most people have the phones locked and thus it's a complete waste of time, it sounds to me the capacitive home button part of the screen was an afterthought because they couldn't install the fingerprint reader under the screen, just had a software update yesterday and still can't turn it off, basic stuff Samsung should enable an ON/OFF toggle switch for this.
Had the same problem with my S8 Plus India Variant(SM-G955 FD), I got my screen replaced from service center, Device was not rooted back then, so was under warranty.
But it is an hardware issue, as since then it has never gone off.
I mean when I press the home button hard it doesn't wake the phone up & no vibration. It happens when I restart the device then it would stop working for few minutes to a few hours sometimes, then it would start working again normally until I restart the phone again. I think this is just a software issue.

Flashing crash notification, can't read

Hi guys,
this morning i have a strange issue on my oneplus 7. The screen turned off, then it won't turn on again, the only thing on the screen was a little "pixel" flashing at the top center of the screen. I keept the power button pressed to turn off the phone, and after a bunch of seconds the screen turned back on (the phone was still on).
After that, i frequently see a flashing window that looks like a crash notification for some app, but it is so fast that i can not read what is related on... This window keeps popping out every few minutes (or seconds) but the phone seems working as alwatys. I've tried rebooting with no luck. There's no way to see some kind of log to check what app is crashing? The phone is consuming a lot of battery now (30% in the last 2h) and looks like Google Play Services has used almost 25% of battery.

Question TB-J716f (ZUI 14) - Power button stuck! (= constant reboots) - Any ideas or fixes pls...

I tend to use my pad for traveling mostly, so it has been unused for about 6 weeks.
I turned it on a couple of days ago and all was fine until overnight it went into a reboot loop (or so I thought).
The following day it was dead, so I recharged it (during which it was rebooting constantly).
It would reboot every 10-15 seconds, even it it was in Recovery or FFBM mode.
The fact that it would reboot whatever mode it was in meant (IMO) that it was a hardware issue and not a software one, and the likely culprit was the power button. (It was acting like the power button was constantly depressed).
Using a pin I was able to lift the power button slightly and sure enough the pad booted and showed that it had pretty much fully charged even whilst rebooting.
As soon as I removed the pin it went straight back into a reboot loop.
Does anyone have any ideas how i may proceed to fix this issue? (It may even just be a humidity issue on the fingerprint sensor as I live in a highly humid country.)
I can't even work out the best way to open the case as there don't seem to be any tear-downs..
Thanks
Mine happen same issue with this, solve it by using
Step 1 : Spray 3M™ Quick Drying Contact Cleaner 16-102, around the Power Button Area.
Step 2 : Apply 3M™ AR-100 Anti-Rust lubricant.
So far after 1week, not more repeated
