i'm planning on buying one of them and i was wondering which one would be better? im having a hard time choosing between the touchflo 3d and touch wiz interface.
also wouldnt be possible to put touchflo 2d on the omnia. i bet it would look good on a 3.2 inch screen.
depend on if you want a real keyboard and higher resolution
or a bigger screen
i have a himalaya with a 3.5" screen

with touchflo end up removing it
Personally I would go for the Touch Pro as I trust more the HTC manufactured devices.
But as our oldest member and Mod says: it depends exactly what you prefer to have on a device.
I´ll wait for HD
"it has full flash" THen, i want. - htc hero

I have an touch pro, and DO NOT WANT TO BUY ANOTHER Cellphone!
The main processor is just as good (maybe the same) as all those new cellphones... 528 blablabl 258 blablabla...
well, the question is: Will it be possible? do anyone knows if is just that simple? copy files, and paste, and smile? Its the same brand, but another O.S... well, maybe? (operational system)
what people here would say about that?
Hows going the fusion between HTC touch pro and android?
the hardware specs look really like the touch pro and touch diamond. maybe they can pull this so we can get proper android on our touch pro. and hopefully keep dual boot.
don't think you want it on your raphael before there comes a vga version
otherwise it would not be that big on your screen
½ size pretty much
screensize might not be the best. android is already ported atleast visually to the touch pro. maybe this will help with the drivers. then the next step can be porting over that interface if you want it. lately htcs replacement interfaces have been quite nice. tf3d was quite good actually. itll be interesting to see what they do to android.
I believe the Hero is going to have a capacitive touchscreen. That may present a problem for our Touch Pro with the resistive touchscreen...
>_< i know that. the resistive touch screen and graphics, and the capacitive navipad isnt a problem in the current android port for raphael, its the rest of the hardware.
Just don't count on it. All the Android porting for the Diamond and Touch Pro and older devices has been REALLY slow. Buy an Android phone if you want Android.
This is just something I have been wondering about lately.
WVGA+
Hi
I don't think Windows Mobile as an OS supports a screen resolution above WVGA, but I could be wrong. I guess support for higher resolution screens may be implemented in WM7.
Cheers

Is the skyrocket screen resolution something that is native to the software given or part of the maximum tech of the given screen?
I'm not super techy but if its determined by gingerbread OS that can certainly be changed later on by firmware update or app/ROM right? Hopefully Samsung knows this screen could look better, assuming i'm right about this.
The big icons look so weird heh.
I can tell you for certain it is Not an OS limitation as the resolution on the OG Atrix is 540X960 as is the Atrix 2 and the HTC Vivid. Not sure there might be more with that resolution I just know those three for certain as I have owned/own them.
Does anyone know if there is an app for phones with OLED screens that can imitate the secondary screen feature of the V10.
If not, what do. you think about the idea?
Anyone?
