Help: screen broken :/ - Touch Cruise General

Hi, as title says, my screen is "broken". It displays the bottom of what should be on that part of the screen (around 1cm of the screen at the bottom). As far as I am aware, that part of the touch screen works.
Screen is white otherwise, with coloured lines going down the screen, and grey lines going across. Anyone seen this before and or how to fix?
Have no idea how it happened.
Also is there anyway to perform a HARD reset without having the screen working?
Thanks in advance for any help.

try hard reset or other rom
hard reset:
while gps button and internet button pressed - press reset button.
flash new rom:
1.if you have hard-spl download any rom, if don't download only official rom.
2.rename .nbh file to POLAIMG.nbh, copy to sd card, while camera button pressed - press reset button.

s200 touchscreen problem. rom issue?

Hi, I've received a damaged qtek s200, which has non-working touchscreen. I can only use the buttons on the bottom of the front side, which is not enough to even unlock it. From the facts I've gathered someone tried to change rom in it and damaged it. On boot it says:
IPL:2.09
SPL:2.09.0000
GSM:02.07.20
OS: 2.9.7.24
I have no experience with pdas. Please help.

first try hard reset by pressing camera button+comm manager button and reset the device keep holding the buttons down until you get the following message on the screen: "Press Send to restore factory default." At this point press Send (Green Phone). Warning this will erase all information, contacts etc. However data on the SD card will not be erased.
if the touchscreen is still not working, try to stick a softcard (business card) between the screen and the front panel because sometimes somthing like dust or dirt is puting pressure on the screen, or maybe you droped the phone and the front panel been twisted (even a little bit) and now it is pressing the screen.
if the touchscreen is still not working, try to flash a new rom to the phone by downloading it from here: ftp://ftp.xda-developers.com/Prophet/Shipped_Complete_Updates/
if all the above is not making the touchscreen to work, so probably it is a hardware problem, and you need to send it to repair.

How to hard reset the Raph?

Hi, guys!
I 've just got a HTC Touch pro (O2 Xda diamond pro) from O2. I was not really satisfied with the branded Touch Flo 3d interface wherefore I tried to use the Diamond 3d Config Tool touchflo to put my device back to original HTC settings. But since these original UI was much slower than the O2 one(personal impression) I decided again to reset my device to use the stabdard O" branded Touch Flo 3d interface. Unfortunatelly when I change to keyboard mode I still see a HTC screen instead of the O2 screen.
Can you please help me on this?
I have also tried to hard reset my device, but foudn out that when I restart the device and press the VOLUME DONW and the ENTER key (on teh keyboard) the only thing that happens is that I see four color bars on the screen with some yellow numbers and text. THats all.
Please can you help me at least by telling me (maybe with photos) which buttons to use to hard reset and how the screen should look like? I have ofcourse checked the user guide, but I do not see the screen asking me whether I really want to do a hard reset (as described in the user guide).
Please help me on this!!!
Many thanks in advance!
Regards,
BBMG
Some would say RTFM or the Wiki before you post but I've been helped so many times here when I didn't deserve it I'll say volume down + enter + reset
Hi!
Yes, thanks for the tip, but I have ofcourse tried that and as I said there are just some color bars appear on the screen. BUt before they appear I see a message "No Image File!". SHould that mean, I cannot hard reset my devicè anyway?

The enter key is the circular button under the screen, not the one on the keyboard
Still does not work
Many thanks for the tip. Yeah, it really looks like a circus act, but still does not work at all. First fo all I see a white screen (I assume that is the boot loader) saying "Loading ..." and short time after that I see a message "No Image File!". After that, I only see the following screen. Sorry for bad image quality. Took it with my old Nokia 6230i device.
Any tips?
Maybe there is someone who knows either from where to get an original O2 xda Diamond Pro image or how to setup the vertical screen that appears when the keyboard is open?
Text on the screen:
RAPH120
SPL-1.90.0000
MicroP-Raph (LED) v13
MicroP-Raph (KEY) v5
PSOC-Raph STAGE_CVT v0x36
Serial
Many thanks in advance!

Is there really noone who can help me out?
Hi,again!
Does anybody noticed the same problem as I have described above?
Please help me out guys!
Thanks in advance!

You did read that the "enter" button is the round button on the front and not the "enter" button on the keyboard?
you entered bootloader, that mean you didnt hold the "enter" button (circular looking, when plugged in you see lights around it) at front of the phone, while holding vol down and press the reset button
BIG BIG Thanks
Hi, again!
You, were totally right. I was too stupid to recognize the round button as the enter button, although it was mentioned already before.
Now, my device is restored correctly.
Thank You!
hmmm
i kinda got the same problem but i pressed the Circle Button + Volume Down + Soft Reset
.. always if i do so it hangs at the T-Mobile screen
the bootloader with Volume Down + Soft Reset works fine
... any tips what i do wrong or what i could do now ?
and btw dont install Nydiot Virtual Desktop on your raph

SPV M3100 frozen

I know this is a bit of an old phone now, but I'm hoping someone might be able to help...
When I switch the phone on, it gets to the Windows Mobile screen and then just hangs. After a few minutes, it turns itself off.
So far, I've tried the following;
1. Soft reset
2. Hard reset
3. Remove battery, put on charge (red light), replace battery (amber light), hard reset
4. Removed battery for 2 weeks
5. Praying
6. Swearing
Does anyone have any other suggestions?
Thx
Bad Flash
Hi
You could try starting the device in bootloader in order to re-flash the ROM, or flash a new ROM. Methods for this are:
1) Press the soft reset hole button whilst holding camera button fully in.
2) Remove the battery, then re-insert it and switch the device on by pressing the power button but again ensuring the camera button is depressed fully.
3) Remove the battery and re-insert it. Don't switch the device on but plug it into a Windows PC using a USB cable whilst, you guessed it, depressing the camera button.
If you can get into bootloader (three coloured screen with some yellow writing) then you can probably reflash the device. It sounds like a software problem not a hardware problem but I could be wrong on that.
If you can't get the device into bootloader mode you have a problem that is more complicated to fix, about which I can't advice.
Best wishes

Hi,
Thanks for the reply....I couldn't get your method to bring up the bootloader to work, but tried pressing Power and OK while doing a soft reset.
This brought up a screen with 4 horizontal bars - red, green blue & white. Text at the top says;
HERM100 (text in white)
IPL-1.01
HERM100 (text in yellow)
SPL-1.04
In the white bar is the word 'Serial'
Does this sound right?
Then it just hangs on this screen - is there something else I am supposed press on the phone, or do I do something via my laptop with activesync etc?
Sorry for the additional questions, but I've never had to do this before.
Thanks
An update....
After noticing that 'No GSM' appears on the splash screen, I have now found this page which I think might answer my questions.
I'll have a go at this tonight

[Q] Quantaray 7" Tablet Screen Inverted - NEED HELP!

My sister just bought a Quantaray 7" Tablet from a co-worker. The biggest problem was that he forgot his pattern lock, so using the tablet was quite difficult. There was also a problem with it not wanting to DL directly from the marketplace. Screen was working perfectly.
In order to correct these problems, I did a factory reset and wiped cache via bootloader mode. That fixed the above problems, but made it so now the screen calibrations are inverted. Meaning that if I want to press the "1" button on the keyboard, I have to touch the "0", or touch "q" to register "p". In other words, (while being held vertically) I need to press the bottom right of the screen to hit a button on bottom left. I've tried completing the screen calibration during initial setup, but it won't allow me because its so far off.
Running; Android 2.1-Update1 and Kernel 2.6.29 root(at)localhost #154
TL;DR - Touch screen inverted after factory reset (touch on left to press button on right). Need solution.
sorry for the bump, but I'm hoping that someone could still help

Weird boot screen

Hello, something happened with my boot screen (vodafone logo). When I installed vtap after reboot screen changed to lots of colours screen (like dead monitor). Then I tryed to uninstall vtap and boot screen went to black. Is it vtap fault? And is it dangerous? Can i use my HTC universal with black boot screen? And how could i fix this.
try you hard reset device by Hold the two soft buttons ( marked as horizontal bars on the top row of the keyboard ) and press the reset button with the stylus tip. The phone will restart and ask if you want to continue with the reset, follow the onscreen instructions to complete the hard reset
