Hi,
I'm developping a little .net service that replace the diamond basic function wich mute sound during incomming call when the diamond is facedown. My app works great for the moment except a little thing :
when i turned my diamond facedown during an incomming call, the vibrate profil is enabled (the vibrate icon appear in taskbar), but the phone continue ringing.
How can i make to apply vibrate profil during incomminc call when the phone is ringing ?
(scuse for my poor english, it's not my first language)
Thanks for your help

Goto
Settings -> Sound and messages -> Messages
In the events: select "Incoming call", should be way down.
Call tone -> Vibrate and call instead of "call tone" alone.
I got swedish language so I tried to translate as good as possible, hope it helps .)

This question is related to ringtones?
Hint: Use synchronization with Outlook and then synchronize pocket with computer other send all contacts to HTC via bluetooth
lazik it's better he post his questions in one thread rather than a new one for every question
I have a strange problem with my Vox. Sometimes right after I turn it on (so there is only WM6 in RAM and no other apps are running) the screen shows the crossed speaker icon. The sound in the profile is surely ON, but still there is no ringtone in the speaker on an icoming call. Not a big deal as long as use a BT headset since the headset rings OK. But when at home with BT off I keep missing calls and sms. What's that? Does anybody know where in the registry is the key for turning the speaker on/off? Any other clues? Thanks!
I have a problem when I install "wm5_ringdelay_patch_normal-v1.2.zip" from http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=258109 in my HTC:
When is it installed, in a income call, it work's OK, ringtone work's normaly.
Then, at 2ond and next calls, ringtone dont ring (I only see the call in screen)
I think that all sounds on my HTC are dissabled (when press telephone numbers keys, DTMF sound, dont play it)
When I make a soft-reset, it works normaly at 1st. call (but in the others no)
When I delete this program cab, calls ring normaly.
Is it possible that I must re-write any register code? ( see in http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=258109 )
Is it any solution?
Thank's !
Hi guys,
I need your help. Im using a Asus p750 running wm 6.1. It seems that the phone dosent care to what profile im using. If i have phone on "silent" without ring signal or vibra still the phone rings at a incoming call. Same on all profiles i use. Always a ring signal!!! Total newbie so hoping for a easy fix. Maybe you expers have any ideas?
I have tryed to use SPB phone suite, same problems with thoose profiles. Phone dosent seem to care what profile i shoose to use.
Cheers.

Are you sure you are turning down the ring volume and not just the system.
Thnx for you answer Joel.
I set profile by Settings - Profile - Silent/Meeting etc. If i shoose Silent (Volume:Off Vibrate:Off) and i go back to the homescreen i notice a speaker icon with a X next to it. So i guess i have shoosen correct to get a silent incoming call? Dosent happen though, phone screams like a pig when i get a incoming call. Im i doing something wrong?
tap the speaker icon in the bar and you should get a pop up with two sliders, one for system sound, one for ringer, turn the ringer all the way down and try it again.
Both ringer and System sound are set to lowest and OFF. Still a ringsignal when a incoming call. Was just in a meeting where i bragged about the meeting sceduler that sets phone to meeting profile by auto. Ye right i had 3 incoming calls disturbing that meeting. Argh.
Ahh im using Inesoft Phone Suite and that stupid software uses its profiler and it seems to override all other profilers. Great, now i know what the error is... to bad you cant disable just the profiler... good software othervise..
Ver 5 let's you turn off the Profiler.... but... it doesn't actually turn off... whatever Inesoft profile it was set to when you disable the profiler remains active...
Really annoying... and their support seems non-existent...
I loaded WM6.5 ROM on my Treo 750.
Everything is great except one issue...
... I cannot set the Incoming Call Ring Tone.
When I go into the options of the phone, it is set to "none".
I set it to "Vibrate and Ring", then set a ring tone.
When I save/exit, it reverts back to "none".
I tried mid ring tones, wma, and mp3.
I tried ring tone only and vibrate only also...
... But no matter what I set it to, it keeps reverting back to none.
It WILL NOT ring or vibrate on incoming calls.
The SMS, Voice Mail, Missed Call, and email notifications all work fine.
ANY Help would be great!
Thanks
try first to change the other sounds , like unknown caller , and so , and then return to change the known caller...

Thank You for the reply!
There is no problem saving the settings in the Sound Notifications settings.
While on the dialer(Phone) screen, I cick Menu, then Options. This takes me right to the Phone Options page where I can set the folowing 3 options:
(1) Ring Type (Ring, Ring and Vibrate, Just Vibrate)
(2) Ring Tone
(3) Keypad Tone
While the Ring Type is set to "None", the Ring Tone box is grayed out.
I change the Ring Type to "Ring", I can then select a Ring Tone.
The only field that WILL NOT save is the Ring Type.
The Ring Tone still has the Ring Tone I selected in the box.
But the Ring Type keeps reverting back to "None".
But I did as you said (in sound notification settings)...
I changed the Unknown Caller tone. Then returned and changed the Known Caller tone.
This had no affect on the incoming call ring.
Still would not vibrate or ring.
