I have a strange problem with my Vox. Sometimes right after I turn it on (so there is only WM6 in RAM and no other apps are running) the screen shows the crossed speaker icon. The sound in the profile is surely ON, but still there is no ringtone in the speaker on an icoming call. Not a big deal as long as use a BT headset since the headset rings OK. But when at home with BT off I keep missing calls and sms. What's that? Does anybody know where in the registry is the key for turning the speaker on/off? Any other clues? Thanks!

I can hear the sms notifications, alarms etc and the phone ringing without problem - when I am NOT using a headset.
But I most often have my headset attached to the phone - eventhough it is just laying on the desk. But if the headset is attached, I can only hear the phone ringing out loud. The sms notifications, alarms etc is ONLY heard through the headset.
Is there a way to hear the sms notifications, alarms etc from the phone loudspeaker, AND have the headset is attached as well??
You need to go into Bluetooth connection settings, and uncheck "wireless stereo".
Of course if you do that, you won't be able to hear music through the headphones, but that's why WM sucks. Nothing works as it should.
I've actually had the same problem. It's a shame you can't get the best of both worlds.
Is there a tweak that allows my HTC Fuze phone to ring when the phone is paired with at bluetooth headset? My phone sends the ringing to the headset and I dont have it on my ear all the time.
check the options in voice command. Sounds like you have it set to the default I think, which is "send sounds to bluetooth if available.
There are ones for phone, messaging etc...
Thanks, I will look into it.
Phone is on the latest marshmallow 6.01. For some reason, it doesn't go through the headset anymore but the headphone has sound once it's answered.
It rings on the phone's speaker when the screen is on. When the phone screen is off, it rings through the headset. I wish there was a way to change this behavior to always ring through the headset.
Hi all,
Is there a way to make it so any notification sounds or alarms ring thru the phone when connected to bluetooth headsets? I sometimes fall asleep with headset but naturally the ear piece will fall out during sleep so when my wake up alarm goes off, I won't hear it because it plays thru the headset. Same goes for notifications for texts, etc. I would like all notifications/alarms to sound from the phone speaker regardless if I'm connected to bluetooth or not.
Thanks

Whenever I pick an incoming call, the callers sound comes through the loud speaker. But when I check the active call window it shows that I am on the normal headunit speaker. I then have to manually toggle between the loudspeaker and then back to the normal earpiece and then it's normal but defaults to the loudspeaker again next time.. I checked all the settings in the phone app and turned the game mode off.. guys help...
Is anybody else facing this issue??
Update: so I think I have found the issue. I have galaxy watch connected to the phone and that's when the call goes to the speaker phone. Thing is it doesn't happen for outgoing call, only incoming call gets routed through the loud speaker.

are you answering via the watch?
in bt settings turn off the settings for media/call control and see if that fixes it
