Ok i ordered my AT&T Fuze Friday and it should be in Monday-Tuesday. I plan on using ROMeOS ROM and was just checking i have everything ready for when the phone comes in.
I have:
Hard-SPL
CustomRUU
And of Course ROMeOS v1.40.1
Any order i should install? Should the Hard-spl be installed 1st or CustomRUU or does it even matter?
Ive only had a blackjack, blackjackII and i have installed the wm6.1 for my blackjackII but this is my first PPC device and was looking for any tips.

I installed jumpspl on my tilt instead of hardspl on accident. Now, I can't install any roms (or hardspl). Help!
i got my tilt from ebay and it has windows 6 i need to install new wm 6.1 cooked rom but i don't know if it's rom protection is cracked or not how can i know or should i have to make Hard SPL first and if i installed the cooked rom without hard spl does that can harm my phone

Ok so I've done all the hardspl stuff with cmonex 3.29 and jumpspl.
I flashed the hyperdragon and then solace and now I have duttys diamond ROM.
Well I did the sim unlock stuff with kaiserunlocker after I did hardspl stuff. Then I flashed hyperdragon and then after solace and duttys. Since duttys diamond ROM comes with its on radio if I want to change the radio will I have to do the Kaiserunlocker thing again? I know I don't have to do the hardspl stuff but I'm not sure about the kiaserunlocker stuff because after I decided i didn't want hyperdragon it didnt say unlocked or something anymore at the top of that one colorful screen.
If you have HardSPL, you can flash a radio.

Heya,
I have an ATT Tilt (8925), and was using one of Dutty's custom roms. The phone was working great for quite a while, until yesterday. Now it just boots and goes to the ATT splash screen (or HTC splash screen if I flash an HTC rom).
I have tried flashing the original ATT shipped rom, HTC shipped rom, and Dutty's again to no avail. When it looked lost, I called ATT and they offered to exchange it under warranty.
The kicker is, I don't know if they will accept it with Hard SPL 3.56 still on it. I have reloaded the original shipped ROM, but have no way to restore the SPL from what I've read, because I cannot get fully booted. Is there a way to restore the shipped SPL without having to copy the SPL to the phone? (maybe through MTTY or frankenkaiser?)
Any help is greatly appreciated.

I don't think they care what spl is on the phone. I have returned a few of them...just make sure the stock rom is on it.
i did just see something about spl being on the phone when trying to use warinty... its on the wiki.... saw it like 2 min ago... can u run any rom on the phone? origional or home brew?

Yeah, I'm really hoping that they don't mind it. I was able to flash the shipped rom, but I still can't seem to find anything saying how to restore the SPL without being able to transfer files to the phone.

Using this, I was able to flash SPL to 1.93.0000, which I assume came with the phone as I bought it only a few months ago. If anyone thinks I should go back to 1.56.0000, please let me know, as I now know how.

i used to have a kaiser (but it turnt out to be faulty) and managed to flash hardspl, flash new roms (had wizard, hermes and raphael and flashed all those too) so i'm not a newbie to flashing however im a tad confused about all the new hardspl (jwocky) etc and jumpspl? can someone just give a quick summary about what to do and why it has changed from the ordinary hardspl? as i am looking at buying another kaiser

I don't believe anything has changed in regards to installing a HardSPL to a phone. I've been following the same procedures for the last year or two. The Jump Spl files are used when changing / updating your HardSPL via ActiveSync (the only way I do it). Following the instructions on the thread below works like a charm, I've never had a problem. The instructions say HardSPL v3.29, but you can use any of the current HardSPL's just the same.

Fair enough, as im used to just hardspl'ing the device rather than jumpspl then hardspl.. will do it by the book though when i get my new one (if i manage to sell my poxy blackberry!!!)
All the SPL types are on the SPL Questions wiki page in detail, so I'll save myself repeating.
The reason for the 1.* and 3.* different SPL versions is for WM 6.0 and 6.1 respectivly.
