Ok so I've done all the hardspl stuff with cmonex 3.29 and jumpspl.
I flashed the hyperdragon and then solace and now I have duttys diamond ROM.
Well I did the sim unlock stuff with kaiserunlocker after I did hardspl stuff. Then I flashed hyperdragon and then after solace and duttys. Since duttys diamond ROM comes with its on radio if I want to change the radio will I have to do the Kaiserunlocker thing again? I know I don't have to do the hardspl stuff but I'm not sure about the kiaserunlocker stuff because after I decided i didn't want hyperdragon it didnt say unlocked or something anymore at the top of that one colorful screen.
If you have HardSPL, you can flash a radio.

i was thinking the other day and came to wonder about hard SPL. we always stress to the n00bs that it is very VERY VERY important, but then i noticed that the htc rom tool in the kaiser kitchen has a place to build an spl into the rom. can't we just put the spl from hard spl into the rom tool on all of our cooked roms and save everyone a step later? i wasn't sure who to ask and i don't have a kaiser without hard spl with which to test this so i am asking anyone who can answer sorry if i'm not seeing why this can't be done
I think you've forgotten something.
HardSPL is needed to be able to flash your device. So even if HardSPL is baked into a custom ROM, it wouldn't matter. HardSPL has to be installed first, no matter what. Not having HardSPL installed would prevent you from flashing a ROM.
Luckily installing HardSPL ins't really that hard.
meschle's Artemis ROM's have two batch files.
#1 for HardSPL
And
#2 for the CustomRRU.
So First time flashers can't really go wrong.

Yeah but hard SPL does not always work the same way. Some get white screen. I got 3 devieces. All 3 original TyTN II's. First one (my first deviece) flashed spl easly. But the other 2 deviece were getting white screen. Finaly I managed to Hard SPl it but in a other way.

I have been up and down the forums for a few weeks now trying to figure this out. I just got a new tilt from AT&T (replacing another one) and I cannot get any HardSPL version installed on it. I had no problems with my original Tilt installing roms etc.
The Hard SPL install runs through like usual, but when I check the bootloader (camera button reset) it still shows mfg bootloader. I do not get the 'white screen' issue, because everything goes through just fine. I have tried the white screen fix version and no luck.
Any Ideas?

what is the version number of spl in ur bootloader? i know latest att is 3.56
can you give us some info on your tilt. what SPL is on there now? please list all the numbers found when you put your phone into bootloader

You already have a version of hard spl on the phone. spl 1.0 0liPof is the first version of hardspl. To get another version on you have to use soft spl or jump spl then run it. See the sticky on the new versions of spl. There are detailed instructions there. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=396922

you already have hardspl ... see that "spl-1.0.0lipof".. thats it. That neon radio is mainly for diamond builds and works on some of the wm6.1 roms. From the info you provide looks like you have a wm6 rom.. before trying this radio flash a wm6.1 rom and than give the radio a shot.

i just tried to go from 3.56 to 3.29 SPL
i did everything like i all ways do but i think after everything i did
it didn't do any thing, and im still with the 3.56SPL
is their a way to chack what spl is running on my kaiser now?
(i used sspl-kais and after that i flashed the 3.29)

In the 3.* HardSPL thread there are two methods by Kyphur, try the second one - exactly as stated.

Hey, Im pretty expierenced in flashing htc phones but I cant flash the kaiser for some weird reason. When I use an RUU its stuck at 0% and then gives a connection error. When using the SD method its stuck on loading. I tried flashing hard spl's but its gives the same errors, its funny though that in boot loader it states that I have hard spl 3.56 or at least I think

When the Kaiser goes to the tri-color screen, don't unplug the USB just hold power and camera buttons and press the reset button with the stylus. this should reboot the phone again but this time you will see "USB" in the white section of the tri-color screen.
I believe 3.56 is an AT$T spl, If it was HardSpl bootloader would read 3.56Hard.
Try following mskips tutorial and use jumpspl to install a hardSpl.
yeah, you haven't properly gotten a HSPL on there. SPL 3.56 is stock.
Should read 3.56 Hard or Hard2 if you're using cmonex's version.

Does neone know know how to get the sweet tf3d tp2 keyboard by any chance, I downloaded one that stated that was qvga but it was horribly sized.

I used JumpSPL to flash Hard SPL, then I flashed my -G- ROM. Worked like a charm

i used to have a kaiser (but it turnt out to be faulty) and managed to flash hardspl, flash new roms (had wizard, hermes and raphael and flashed all those too) so i'm not a newbie to flashing however im a tad confused about all the new hardspl (jwocky) etc and jumpspl? can someone just give a quick summary about what to do and why it has changed from the ordinary hardspl? as i am looking at buying another kaiser

I don't believe anything has changed in regards to installing a HardSPL to a phone. I've been following the same procedures for the last year or two. The Jump Spl files are used when changing / updating your HardSPL via ActiveSync (the only way I do it). Following the instructions on the thread below works like a charm, I've never had a problem. The instructions say HardSPL v3.29, but you can use any of the current HardSPL's just the same.

Fair enough, as im used to just hardspl'ing the device rather than jumpspl then hardspl.. will do it by the book though when i get my new one (if i manage to sell my poxy blackberry!!!)
All the SPL types are on the SPL Questions wiki page in detail, so I'll save myself repeating.
The reason for the 1.* and 3.* different SPL versions is for WM 6.0 and 6.1 respectivly.
