Origianl Shipped ROM - Wing, P4350 ROM development

I have searched but am unable to find a list of original shipped ROMs for the Herald. In particular, I am looking for WWE 5.0. Can anybody point me in the right direction? Thanks.

I believe the herald was never shipped with 5.0. only 6.0. i could be wrong though.
Hmm the Wiki says it came with 5 also. Wouldn't mind getting my hands on 5.0 for the Wing, would run smoother!

Yeah, it came with 5.0 originally. I have a customer that needs to run software that only runs on 5.0. I'm offering a nice reward from my website if anyone can help me get 5.0 ROM!

I've seen info about it on 5 portals. Could be sooo great! I simply can't wait!
I won't upgrade with AT&T for now - I wait for voda/row!
why Voda Unbranded better no Junk at all no ATT or Voda Junk just pure
Palm WM6 + plus it give it unlocked look with absence of Brand logos
I hope it's officially released for download next week also! But, what I really hope for is that the ROM has been further refined since they cooked up the 'prerelease' version, however long ago that was.
I agree. I hope that they made changes to the ROM since the release that's been leaked to us on here.

Obviously someone hoping that they can make a quick buck off of someone who doesn't know any better because this phone has got the WM6 installed on it. It's a leaked copy of it.
Considering that only the ATT copy of it has been leaked on xda-developers.com, I would think that this person got it from here. So, it's the same ROM that you've seen floating around here.
I read somwhere that listings on eBay for Treo 750 with WM6 loaded were being taken down by eBay due to Plam complaints (the same way the ROM was taken from here).

New Rom from HTC for the AT&T for Tilt

There is a new Rom from HTC for AT&T tilt.
http://www.america.htc.com/support/tilt/software-downloads.html
Anybody have any info on it? I'm sure not many people care with WM6.1 floating around but was wondering if anybody knows how different it is from the 1.61.502.2 version I got from this site. The new version says its 1.62.502.0.
I would try WM 6.1 but I use my phone for business and I'm nervous about using 6.1 beta builds. Am I being crazy not to go to WM6.1 and going with the new one from AT&T.
there's a few threads dealing with this release........why dont you look in those threads
Lots of discussion on here about this update. In fact, Alex has already integrated into the Kaiser Kitchen. I'm using a self-cooked ROM utilizing this base - works great. Do a search for more info...

WM 6.1 Q9c, Upgrade Further Possible?

Hello all. First post on these forums. Stumbled upon it Googling around for some answers, and judging from some of the threads here I think I found the right place.
Just a couple days ago I finally got a cell phone that doesn't feel prehistoric. A Motorola Q9c. I'm using it on Page Plus if that matters. I did a hard reset, then upgraded the phone to Windows Mobile 6.1 using RSD Lite. What I'm wondering is:
Is it possible to update the phone further, for example 6.5.3, or any other version past 6.1?
and
What would the process entail?
It wasn't too hard to find the right files, put the phone into bootloader mode, and use RSD Lite. Figuring this next step won't be so easy, but I'm willing to give it a shot.
I don't really know but I really don't think it would really be worth it in my opinion. The main thing wm6.5 changed is making the interface more finger friendly, but your phone doesn't have a touchscreen so I don't see much benefit. I could definitely be wrong though; I don't know much about winmo smartphone edition.

There were other improvements as well, and sure, it may not be anything groundbreaking, but I'd still like to try.
WM 6.1 ROM
Sorry to be beating a dead horse here but can someone PLEASE help me with getting my Q9c to 6.1, I got it back when it first came out so it's not eligible for the upgrade to moto website. Thanks in advance,
Depends on your provider m8.
I used my old Moto q9c with US Cellular, and they provided me with my 6.1 ROM update in store.
I'd recommend talking to your provider, though the phone is a bit of an antique nowdays. Most people use either the HTC Snap or the Moto q9h. [to my knowledge]

When will sprint get Winmo 6.5?

Windows has already released phones with winmo 7 (the TG02 from toshiba?). My HTC touch pro 2 is still running winmo 6.1! When is sprint going to provide the update to 6.5, which by now is already outdated?
Is anyone else frustrated by this? Hasn't the hacking community already built up a 6.5 rom for the touch pro 2? Why can't sprint get with the program?
"The touchscreen interface should be slicker on the TG02, not just because of the improved touchscreen, but also because the TG02 runs the Windows 6.5.3 operating system, rather than the Windows 6.5 operating system."

Windows Phone 7 will be coming out late 2010, if at all this year.
If you really want windows 6.5 just use one of the cooked roms, they will probably be more suited towards your needs anyways.
im fustrated
i don't know why sprint hasn't got 6.5 already, like you said other companies have 6.5 and even windows 7.. im frustrated and willing to upgrade with a custom rom someone made, but i just dont want to because that might ruin my warranty..i think lol..

technically it does...I waited for vzw 6.5 to see if it was any good...was less responsive than the original stock rom, so I tried mighty mikes and am really enjoying it.
EDIT: i tried giving the link for the Winmo 7 phone that I got my info from. Just google "engadget windows 7 hands on" and you'll find what I was referring to. I would post a link but I need to be verified first.
I got this new TP2 because of my original TP warranty (it was freezing so Sprint gave me a TP2 for FREE).
So I want to keep up this warranty so I can keep my total equipment protection and replace this one when it gets old.
But sprint is saying 6.5 will have all of these cool new personalization features that are specific for the TP2.
the suspense is killing me! Winmo 6.1 is such a drag...
Also, can these 6.5 ROMS have the new features that sprint is talking about for this phone?
Oh, and also I just want to say I LOVE THIS PHONE

Most likely one of the builds will have it. Check out the ppc forums for a consolidated CDMA app forum:

I appreciate the link but "flashing" a rom is, to me, a dark and mysterious process that I do not understand. Also, i cannot lose my warranty, it is the ticket to my next pocket pc.
I guess I just have to be patient...but I've been using windows for years so I'm used to that

Honestly at first I was a little apprehensive because I had seen mention of bricking your phone. It is super easy though once you get into it. Just take the time to read the stickies and follow the steps. I haven't had to take my phone in for warranty yet though so I'm not sure how it will turn out in that aspect. If you are worried don't do it. A phone that works is better than paperweight.
