There is a new Rom from HTC for AT&T tilt.

Anybody have any info on it? I'm sure not many people care with WM6.1 floating around but was wondering if anybody knows how different it is from the 1.61.502.2 version I got from this site. The new version says its 1.62.502.0.
I would try WM 6.1 but I use my phone for business and I'm nervous about using 6.1 beta builds. Am I being crazy not to go to WM6.1 and going with the new one from AT&T.
there's a few threads dealing with this release........why dont you look in those threads
Lots of discussion on here about this update. In fact, Alex has already integrated into the Kaiser Kitchen. I'm using a self-cooked ROM utilizing this base - works great. Do a search for more info...

I really enjoy my Tilt and want to take advantage of some of the new offerings from this site, especially in terms of radio performance. However, as you all know, all of the lastest radios interfere with the normal sound operation when installed on the Tilt.
Can someone please explain to me why this is happening? And can I beg and plead with some of the Guru Chefs on this site to help us lowely Tilt owners by finding a solution so that we too can revel in the glory of OEM freedom?
That being said...I love this forum. This is a killer community. Even with the video driver issue, I am so glad I bought an HTC phone and can be part of the excitement. It's amazing how much of the industry is affected by what goes on right here in this place. Thanks to all of the contributers for their time and effort.
The new radios will only work with the new 6.1 roms that came out. Once you put the new rom on your tilt then the new radio will also work. I am holding off though on upgrading to 6.1 because I don't want an official rom. I would rather have a cooked rom so I am waiting until the cooked 6.1 roms get out of beta.
I am using the DCS v1.1 on my phone with the newest radio and am loving it...

Looking for some advice here... The wiki is down, at least for me. I haven't been able to access it for the last two days.
I would like to finally update the ROM on my Tilt, and need some advice on the ROM options. Dutty's WM6.1 Hybrid v2 5.2.19700 seems popular... What other options are there?
Here's some parameters. I am on the original AT&T 1.57.502.2 with the 1.27.12.11 radio (no bloatware). I'd like to find a ROM that's fast, stable, support's AT&T Tilt (US) keyboard layout, includes AT&T's standard network settings, and as much of my "core" software as possible. My "essential software" includes HTC Diamond keyboard set, HTC Album, HTC Home, S2U2, MS Live Search, Calc 1 Lite (from Dutty), Touch dialer, updated Nadavi HTC Camera (5.0.4.2915), OneNote mobile (from Dutty), Opera mini 4 beta (waiting for my Skyfire beta invite...), the M&M Marshall WaitCursor, and my favorite black glossy skin.
I understand this is an open-ended question... just looking for some educated opinions. Maybe the Wiki has good info, but as I said, it's down. Maybe a sticky with a summary listing is in order?
I went with Dutty's because it's tried, true, fast (based on benchmark) and also, probably most importantly, it's so popular that if you have issues then there is a vast array of folks who probably had it before and either has a solution or you know 'that's not fixed yet' so don't waste your time fiddling with it.
My only regret is that I went with the "cubed" version instead of the "non-cubed" as I like some of the other cubes out there...I would suggest going with the non-cubed so if you ever go with any of the cube UIs you can select your own.
You can overwrite the Cube on Dutty's but it's still sitting in the memory area wasting space even when it's not in use.

Honestly, if you've waited this long, I would wait until the official HTC release comes out this month, as there are bound to be new builds all around. Once would hope the latest release would have the most fixes built in and be the most stable.
Of course, the release may be a hoax...but I would spend two more weeks researching and then if there isn't an official release, at least you will be better informed to use what's out there.
Best Cube UI

OK, if the Cube UI included in dutty's is not the best cube, which one is? What are the choices?

Thanks. That makes sense... There also seems to be a new AT&T ROM this week ([05/11/2008] ATT 19213 build with 1.65.20.29 radio) and no cooked updates on top of that
Ummmmm...there are several cooked version of that specific ROM you are looking for!!!!
Shogun Mark's Version
RynCPpr Version
L2 Version

Not sure what you are looking for...WM 6.1 is the next WM release coming up, thus the "leaks".
Are you hopeful for a WM7 leak?
You're only seeing at&t 6.1 releases because the 6.1 roms are only coming from our insider at at&t development. HTC, Orange, etc are not releasing any "test" roms like at&t. HTC is claiming they will be releasing a full official wm6.1 soon. None of the roms thus far from at&t have been full "releases."
Not available yet on ATT's site I am looking for a build of the WM6.5 -

6.5 isn't available for download on any American phones yet, nor has the Fuze been definitely listed as a phone that will be getting the upgrade. Go to Raphael Rom Development for a wide variety of custom 6.5 roms in the mean time.
They are all better than any M$ 6.5 rom anyway.

I have a TP2 on Verizon. It's running the Verizon release of Windows Mobile 6.5 and I use the Touch Flo interface.
I used to flash my Treo WX to homebrew ROMs, so I understand the process, but I"m having a hard time finding what I believe to be the most current release of the HTC interface (Sense 2.5.x?) and the best (probably boils down to opinion from what I can tell), but I'm really lookoing for a good stripped down ROM without any verizon extras, running the newest release of the HTC interface.
There's just so many options, I can't tell what to get and what to package with what. Can anyone lend me a hand?
Juicy rom is a nice 2.5 rom. Also people really tend to like the Energy roms, I believe energy leo is the energy rom you want to download, not pheonix.
Check them out over here:

yep, leo is the CDMA rom, its the one i use on my sprint TP2
its just been updated to include sense 2.5.2012
