Hi,
I just wanted to know where I could download the factory installed pictures/videos/music etc that were originally on my Touch Pro. They all were removed after flashing the ROM.
THANKS

Hi All,
I did a factory reset on my unrooted Nexus 5 & lost all my videos after doing that.
I am running 5.0 now & the phone functions normally.
I am specifically looking for video files for which I forgot to take a backup.
Any kind of help will be highly appreciated.
Just videos? Or your files and sdcard storage in general?
Just video files.. Everything else was backed up before the factory reset.
Man, sorry to say but I think your videos are gone if you forgot to back them up :/
Hello guys,
I wanted to update the custom rom XtreStoLite Deo-Mod Edition on my Galaxy S6 from Version 2.2. to 2.3 but I do not want to set up my phone again, as I did that some weeks ago. So my question is now what exactly does the Data/Factory Reset do? Is all data being deleted? Do I have to install all apps again? And is it necessary, cannot the old version be overwritten?
Regards

Did this a few days ago.
All apps/settings etc. get wiped, everything except your photos and .mp3s, in fact.
You will have to set it up again, but it's not that much work, i think.
All your apps you can reinstall in one load thru the Play store, as it remembers your downloads and purchases,
export your contacts as a .vcf file and restore them with a few clicks later.
Dirty flashing may be possible, but since the developer himself recommends a swipe/reset, i'd stick with this.
Thanks for your reply. I think I will try the Titanium Backup app. This should solve my problem, if a wipe is necessary.
I successfully installed the newer version 2.3. and restored the phone with Titanium Backup Pro. Everything has been restored fine except the Alliance framework app. I cannot find it. Isnt it force installed by Aroma?
Also, when I put in my headset the app bar which offers you apps for headset use does not show up. Although I activated it in Aroma Add-On. I also wanted to ask if it is possible to have the album cover as wallpaper lockscreen when listening to music and to have the music widget on the lockscreen?
I hope it is ok to use my thread for this questions, as I cannot ask directly in the custom roms thread, due to missing rights.
Hello everyone.
Please help me if you can.
I decided to do a factory reset after I was having some weird problems with my galaxy S4 like volume goes up and down without control.
Now I have some applications that I can not download(or even see) at play store since they became "incompatible".
My question is if it's because I'm using a costume rom and if I restore my phone to it's original rom, should it help?
And if so, how to do it?
For the moment, I installed "clach of clans" from apk file and so far it's working. My concern is that when an update will come out, I won't be able to download it.
I attach a photo of my phone settings:

Hi everyone, looking for some help. Just got my OP6 and it upgraded to newest 9.02 and everything seemed to be working fine. I streamed something briefly on twitch.
I then went to mess around, unlocked bootloader, installed twrp to root, flashed Havox, didn't love it, then came back clean version of latest ROM using fastboot flash. I don't recall testing video while on Havoc, but now no matter how I try to play a video it is choppy and laggy (takes 10 seconds to stutter through a 4 second YouTube ad). Also affects playback of a video I recorded in gallery, browser (CNN) - basically all videos. Everything else with the phone seems completely normal.
Tried wiping YouTube cache, cache in recovery, factory reset, different kernel. No difference.
Anyone heard of this before? Seems the GPU should be fine if it worked initially. Any ideas what I need to flash to address the video playback?
Thanks much.
Update: from the hardware diagnostics it was able to play a music video without a problem so it seems like something happened when I was flashing. Suggestions on restoring it to stock? I'm looking at the MSM tools as the next step.
You can download preferred oos full zip of chioce, boot to twrp, flash oos, flash TWRP reboot recovery, flash oos and TWRP again, magisk, kernel and any other mods. If you moved to another ROM without wiping data, that would cause issues too. Backup data in TWRP (data only) and try booting after clearing data and see if that resolves the issue.
Well I feel stupid. I uninstalled the Google Play Music and Movie apps with system app remover. Now the phone won't boot.
When I try to boot it just goes to Fastboot, and I can load TWRP just fine, but it won't load the OS. Any suggestions? Is there a way to reinstall those apps from outside the OS? I tried a factory reset but that didn't do anything, either.
Get a zip of the OS you're running and just install it on top with twrp without any wiping. It should add the missing pieces back. I did the same thing recently and that solved my issue. Good luck!
Is there a way to look up from in TWRP which OS version I have? Not just 9 but specifically 9.what.what?
Edit: Nevermind, I found it in build.prop
