Thinking of replacing my TyTn with this one. Is it any good? I heard it officially supports 6.1 (free upgrade released by asus) and that it is very fast, among the fastest ppcs. Any big issues with it? And is there a swedish rom available?

WM6 out yet? I thought its only a evaluated version that some can gets? And oly available next 2-3 months?
ROM release for Atom only available through O2 website. And through my experience, they never offer any window updates for any previous Phones. So not likely they will this time.
However, if you wanna update it, i think you can try but its gonna be very slow (i guess as i did with o2 IIi using WM5.0) as each phone has different specs so it has to be engineered to run smoothly.

And they list 6 models in that photo that can be upgraded.
Also, WM6 ROMs are free, no phone company that I know of charge for their latest ROMs.

On the Official site there is only this update 4.1.13.
the last email i received from asus support is that they wont be releasing an upgrade to WM6.1 for the asus m530w as they mentioned that its hardware is not capable of running wm6.1 which is a bunch of bullcrap.
i have a simple questio why all ROM cooker`s make only wm6 and wm6.1 professional instead of improving the standard one wich was made for smartphones non touchscreen?The wm6 and wm6.1 pro are to hard to use because HTC Tornado doesn`t have touch screen..why all of you try to improve the pro version instead of the standard one?
Because 6.1 Professional has a lot more options and is a lot more powerful in general. I encourage you to get hold of a Wizard or Hermes or TyTN or one of HTC's touchscreen PDA phones with 6.1 Pro on it (I have a friend who owns a Wizard that I play with once in a while) and try it out.
If they can get 6.1Pro to work on a Smartphone, I can see how a lot of people would want it.
Of course, on a personal level, I've tried one of the 6.1Pro ROMs currently available for the Tornado and, honestly, I don't like it. It's got a lot of stuff that I want, but the interface just doesn't seem to work for me. I can't find my way around, can't figure out the button layout. If there was a 6.1 Standard that had all the options and capabilities of 6.1Pro, or if there was a 6.1Pro with a 6.1Standard interface, I'd be ALL FOR IT.
In any case, there's at least one person working on a 6.1 Standard for us Tornado users - GnatGoSplat has an *excellent* 6.1 Standard ROM that's been available for quite some time and, we're hoping, will be updated in the near future. GnatGoSplat rules.

I'm with you on this mate... Pro is for touch screen devices. Why the heck would anyone want that on a non-touch screen device? I have an HTC Touch running GnatGoSplats WM6.1 Pro - brilliant... I also have a Tornado running Gregory's WM6 Neo - also brillianr, but I wouldn't want anOS designed for a completely different kind of device on my Tornado no matter how good Pro is! Leave Pro with the touch screen devices, THAT'S WHAT IT'S FOR!!!

yes but pro isn`t for non touchscreen devices...in my opinion for HTC Tornado make wm6.1 or wm6 better and do not try to make the pro version better...

Wich rom would be the best? Depens on what apps i need?
And is it possible to play gameboy emulators with it?

Personally I'm running the Lefab47 Fireburned WM6.1 ROM
12 months in the VOX is still hands down the best phone Ive ever owned.
6.1 is a definate yes - its a big improvement
I would also suggest getting one of the XIP 20202 core roms as this addresses on of my only 2 gripes with the VOX, namely the speed - it was slightly underpowered, however with the new core speed is no longer an issue its greatly improved so my only remaining grip is that the camera could be better - but hey its almost perfect.
DO BUY ONE - they are seriously good
