seems theres only a few of us here using Asus m530w.
Have you found upgrade to W6.1 for this palm?
On the Official site there is only this update 4.1.13.
the last email i received from asus support is that they wont be releasing an upgrade to WM6.1 for the asus m530w as they mentioned that its hardware is not capable of running wm6.1 which is a bunch of bullcrap.

I just saw this ASUS news:
Is the Universal branded by Asus?
And they list 6 models in that photo that can be upgraded.
Also, WM6 ROMs are free, no phone company that I know of charge for their latest ROMs.
Thinking of replacing my TyTn with this one. Is it any good? I heard it officially supports 6.1 (free upgrade released by asus) and that it is very fast, among the fastest ppcs. Any big issues with it? And is there a swedish rom available?

WM6.5 seems to be a lite Version of WM for slow Devices.
So it seems that the Toshiba seem 2 make a WM7 Rom only.

wm6.5 is just a quick way to give a good lifting to many wimo phones. WM7 is a new os that will be realeased later.
I read on the web that this two os will stand together, but i never heard that toshiba planned to skip the wm6.5 to go straigt to the wm7 one.
plus the wm7 phones specifications are multitouch with tg01 doesn't have!
The official Windows Mobile 6.5 update for the TG01 will be out on October 6th (when 6.5 launches) and should be available via your service provider / Toshiba.
Anyone know of something I'm missing in my reading? I don't really mind waiting for the official release but I was using 6.5 on my Treo Pro and it's hard to go back to 6.1 on my new TP2. Thanks for any feedback provided!

the only reason you were able to run this on your treo pro is because the unlocker for treo pro has already been completed. The tp2's unlocker is currently being worked on. Until the locker no custom roms are possible. A custom rom will be the only way to run 6.5 without the official update.

I'm a little confused I have a German HTC Touch Pro and I asked HTC-support if it is possible to upgrade my WM 6.1 to 6.5 They denied it.
Is it possible?

If You mean original WM6.5 OS, for Raphael, then it isn't possible right now, but...if You use cooked ROM (non-official) then it's possible, HTC support wouldn't recommend You this.
almost all the cooked roms are WM 6.5, the official one won't work but the cooked versions are better anyway imo......
Who wants official rom? only if my tp is broken& i need guarantee ;-)
