Smart1 WM6 -> WM5

Hey !
Currently i have the Smart1 WM6 Rom installed which i think work great ! But i need to be able to charge my phone when its turned on so i have to go back to WM5.. So.. Can anyone tell me what i need to do to go back to WM5 ? Do i need to do any special things?

read the wiki/use the advanced search function.. it's been explained a 1000 times. but allright..
- Just flash back to an AKU2.2(NoVendorID)-ROM (either Jesterz's or the one from smart1's thread)
Do this by entering bootloader (holding down camera-button and reset with stylus), pluggin in the USB and executing the *.exe on your PC.
- When flashed back to AKU2.2, you can flash any AKU2.2/2.3/3.3/WM6-ROM you want, as long as you read the install-notes of that particular ROM.

please while using shelltool. to upgrade wm5 to wm6 but ive just got an error message and suddenly lost my connection from activesync! please i dont know how to retrieve my phone! now after bootscreen... white screen appears and nothing happens! i tried hard reset it. nothing happens! please help!
i wish someone here could help me! please! im crying like a baby here! cant sleep! waiting for answers!

Well, then you are not the notsohappy owner of a brick
Get it into bootloader and flash your carrier's official rom
Also, see that in WM6 you must use only ActiveSync 4.5 or higher
Ask if you need help, I will be here for couple of hours and there are others who know way more than me and also can help

currently downloading .exe from htc site. dude is that an installer? do i need to flash it using other programs or not? thanks!
oh btw! i just used activesync 4.2 i am also want to upgrade my cingular 8125 to wm6 xplore1.1.. just like yours.. what steps i shall do? can u help me?

Get the rgb boot loader screen on by holding down camera while you reset. Then connect via usb to the pc. You will see the word " usb " appear on the bottom of the screen on your phone.
Run the exe you downloaded from your manufacturer / carriers website and it will install the stock rom.
Phone will reboot when finished.

Rather than just randomly flashing stuff, you need to read. Specifically:

It will step you through things and point you to the right posts to get you going. DON'T SKIP STEPS! DO Everything and check everything...

pm300 help

hi everyone,my problem is that after uprading my pm300 it stuck into bootloader any idea on how to solve this problem and is g4 i realy need your help urgently thx in advance

What ROM did you upgrade to? If it was to a WM6 ROM using the "new" upgrade method, you may have failed to hard SPL your device. What ever the cause, the solution (as ever) can be found on the wiki.

yes you are right i didnt HARDSPL my device befor updating with (ROM
MY GREEN EDITION WM6.1)is there any hope that my phone will come back to live,by the way thx for the reply

If the device can get into bootloader, it should be possible to recover it In my previous post there was a link to the wiki page for recovering devices from bootloader. If you want any more info, I'll be happy to try and help...

thx for the quick reply but my problem now is if i connect the phone i can see the usb on the screen alright but the computer doesnt sync it and if i go ahead and update the rom i get error make sure the usb/cradle is connected properly i dont know what to do plssssssssss i need help to revive this phone thx in advance

Please Help... My Screen Showing only showing 3 Colors

Hi,
I was trying to install the Dutty's WM 6.1 OS on my Boss's Tilt, didnt worked with the kaiser-HardSPLv1, and looked around for solution and found that i can copy "JumpSPL1.56-KAIS" and run it on the Tilt and than can install the OS, but somehow, its giving this 3 Color Screen and Serial and when i connect to USB, it shows USB instead of Serial, than when i try to install Dutty's OS, it comes up with Recovery option and doesnt finish successfully, it stays on 0% and than again goes back to Recovery option.
Please help me, will be enough if i can go back to where i was before installing anything or any way to Hard Reset and get back to the previous state before running JumpSPL1.56-KAIS.
Please reply ASAP.

Thank you for your response.
I looked at a similar thread and after the white screen, i put the jumpspl on Tilt and ran it and thats how it got stuck on the 4 color screen.
My Screen Shows
KAIS1*0
SPL-1.93.0000
CPLD-8
on the right top corner the tri-color screen displays RUUNBH
and in the bottom White Screen(4th) it shows USB if its connected to USB o/w it shows Serial.
I can no longer connect to the PC using ActiveSync.
Please guide me to fix this problem.

most of us know how to answer and it has been answered many times... why don't u get off ur lazy ass and do some work by searching and reading around.
and to op rule 1: never install anything for anyone.
and secondly u have bad sector blocks which can be cleared using mtty ..again search and read.

THE SOLUTION FOR THE 10,000 TIME DEPENDS ON YOUR SPL VERSION.
FOR YOUR 1.93 SPL IT IS AS FOLLOWS:
USING MTTY ISSUE THE FOLLOWING COMMANDS:
cmd>set 16 0
cmd>task 8
FOR INFO ON USING MTTY, SEARCH & READ.

I went thru this post and couldnt quite understood clearly as to what exactly i need to do, Please guide me what exactly i need to do as i dont want to play around anymore with my Boss's phone.

I think he meant on anyone elses phone it was his bosses phone. You know help someone out by trying to upgrade their phone and blowing it up.

hi can u guys pls help me out.. my phone cingular 8125 shows 3 colors whenever i turned it on.... is there a way i could fix dis... because what i did was, i was trying to upgrade it to wm6... but it was failed because there was an error... pls help me out i will really appreciate it if u guys will....thank you...
....thank you for you guys's help... i was trying to put my phone into bootloader form and it did... then in couple seconds my phone turned off and couldnt turned it back on... idk whats wrong with it...my phone is dead....

Download and flash official cingular stock rom in Bootloaders,it'll recover back to its default status.
