HELP!! Cant use my Wizard anymore

Hi guys i'm pretty new in this scene and i did something stupid...
i've downloaded Win Mobile 6 from usenet and installed it without reading
anything. At 95% of the installation it hangs and when i try to recover it doesnt work. Now i only have the screen with the green red and blue at the background. I've tried a hard reset but that doesnt work either and i tried to search by google and found nothing.
Am i right that i had to remove some kind of G4 lock? And does somebody know how to help me getting things started again.....

do your carriers flash and let it fully finish. Once thats done, read a little on making sure your device is unlocked and once you get that done, youll be ready to move to the next level.
what your device is g3 or g4?

how do i perform such a flash and how can i see what kind of G3/4 i have??

If you got a G4 or G3 IPL/SPL 2.x:
Try flasing wizard_love rom from the bootloader screen.
If you got IPL/SPL 1.x:
flash button_rom from the bootloader screen.

i have the same problem..and i've tried all versions,RUU_mUn_aRTM_10_2_0_8_WWEx.exe, Wizard_Love_2[1].26.10.2_WWE_Novii_CF2.exe, Molski[1].Biz_AKU3.3_21911_8MB_Crossbow.rar...and now when i open it, shows me for 1 second the bootloader screen, and then it's shutting down himself..what should I do???

You should provide more information... What phone model is this? Is it a G3 or G4? What is your IPL / SPL? What did you do before this started happening? Was the battery fully charged before you started this process? Did your PC give you errors when you tried to do teh initial flash that started this process?
The more information you provide the better we can help.
If your phone won't stay turned on when its on the bootloader (rainbow screen) then either your battery is almost dead, or you may have bricked your phone. But we need more details.

this happened to me once, i almost had an heart attack.. but anyway.. what u get there is the bootloader mode, which is you can still save the phone.. when this happened to me, all i did was, i upgraded to original tmobile rom, and from there i ve used shell tool to upgrade to wm6 (my wizard is not unlocked but shelltool takes care of that and u dont have to worry).. its really easy.. let me know what happened.. no worries

Dont worry guys... I think most of us here, faced the same things before, Me included.
Everybody here is quite nice and will help u in any way we can..
Just do some research and fact finding before u flash your rom..
One of the article that I think is very helpful to me is Dr P post on how to unlock and flash your wizard.
If you have any problem or question after reading that, just ask.
Hopefully u can find your answer and your wizard are all healthy..

my phone is G4...first, when i tryed to change the rom, on 95% was blocked..and i have wait about 20 minutes, and nothing...the spl is....01...the battery was quite full, but after several tries, i don't know now how it is (i supose to be from the battery, but i still need a very good rom for it)

ok.. here are the steps.. its very easy.. i had the samething..
your phone is probably CID locked and you will need a shelltool to install that ROM.. so what you need to do is just download the original tmobile ROM.. and connect the phone and install the original ROM.. You didnt birck the phone because you get the bootloader screen.. which means, you can still save the phone..
anyway.. connect the phone via usb and install after you install the original wm5, download the shelltool from here and follow the instructions.. and install the ROM via shelltool.. Then you should be good to go with the new
wm6.

if you cant get the tmobile rom
use the wizard love rom you can get it from here http://rapidshare.com/users/EXGZ7T
flash this rom not using the shell tool once flashed the use the shell tool following all the instructions and it should work

now i've installed RUU_mUn_aRTM_10_2_0_8_WWEx.exe (i've tried and that version also, but same situation) and after reflashing, it shows me windows mobile screen, and then restart the phone...what should I do??? i've tried many roms...could someone please give me an original rom, in english?

Simple: Go to the Wizard Upgrading forum and in the stickies is a post by Dr. Putingham on how to CID Unlock your device. Scroll to the bottom of the first post and there is a direct link to pull the Tmobile 2.26 official ROM.
But as EasyMob suggested (and gave a link to) you may be better off with teh Wizard Love rom since you are a G4 device. Wizard Love ROM is very good at recovering G4 devices.

If you read my previous post, I gave you exactly how to find the link (Hint, its in the first post of Dr. Putingham's sticky in the Wizard Upgrading forum and the title is about How to CID Unlock your device. Was that too hard?

i believe you, but i can't find it...and about 3 days i'm hopeless, because with any ROM version, the phone is still restarting, after reflashing (i didn't flash it with tmobile original rom)...please please, give me the link of the topic...

please while using shelltool. to upgrade wm5 to wm6 but ive just got an error message and suddenly lost my connection from activesync! please i dont know how to retrieve my phone! now after bootscreen... white screen appears and nothing happens! i tried hard reset it. nothing happens! please help!

Get it into bootloader and flash your carrier's official rom
Also, see that in WM6 you must use only ActiveSync 4.5 or higher
Ask if you need help, I will be here for couple of hours and there are others who know way more than me and also can help

Get the rgb boot loader screen on by holding down camera while you reset. Then connect via usb to the pc. You will see the word " usb " appear on the bottom of the screen on your phone.
Run the exe you downloaded from your manufacturer / carriers website and it will install the stock rom.
Phone will reboot when finished.

System reboot at flash of my HTC Wizard

Hey,
it's my first post hire in forum.
I tryed flash a new WM6 Image for HTC Wizard. It's not a first flash of my smartphone. Everytime wirks everything fine, but at this time hase my WinXP system reboot at flashing process. I has not see any bluescreen or like that.
Now is my smartphone at 31% of flashing. How can I resume a flashing or how can I flash the OS in to the phone?
The phone is not turned of. It's since the problem on.
Please give me a Tipp bovor the battary is off.

Make sure the device is powered off and then hold the camera button while powering on. This will bring you to bootloader mode. Connect your device via USB and then flash your carriers latest Rom. This will restore your Wizard to life.
Once you have a phone again and not a paperweight then make sure you do some reading before you try to upgrade again. There are alot of stickies that will teach you how to complete the upgrade process successfully and reading the Wiki helps too.

Please Help... My Screen Showing only showing 3 Colors

Hi,
I was trying to install the Dutty's WM 6.1 OS on my Boss's Tilt, didnt worked with the kaiser-HardSPLv1, and looked around for solution and found that i can copy "JumpSPL1.56-KAIS" and run it on the Tilt and than can install the OS, but somehow, its giving this 3 Color Screen and Serial and when i connect to USB, it shows USB instead of Serial, than when i try to install Dutty's OS, it comes up with Recovery option and doesnt finish successfully, it stays on 0% and than again goes back to Recovery option.
Please help me, will be enough if i can go back to where i was before installing anything or any way to Hard Reset and get back to the previous state before running JumpSPL1.56-KAIS.
Please reply ASAP.

Thank you for your response.
I looked at a similar thread and after the white screen, i put the jumpspl on Tilt and ran it and thats how it got stuck on the 4 color screen.
My Screen Shows
KAIS1*0
SPL-1.93.0000
CPLD-8
on the right top corner the tri-color screen displays RUUNBH
and in the bottom White Screen(4th) it shows USB if its connected to USB o/w it shows Serial.
I can no longer connect to the PC using ActiveSync.
Please guide me to fix this problem.

most of us know how to answer and it has been answered many times... why don't u get off ur lazy ass and do some work by searching and reading around.
and to op rule 1: never install anything for anyone.
and secondly u have bad sector blocks which can be cleared using mtty ..again search and read.

THE SOLUTION FOR THE 10,000 TIME DEPENDS ON YOUR SPL VERSION.
FOR YOUR 1.93 SPL IT IS AS FOLLOWS:
USING MTTY ISSUE THE FOLLOWING COMMANDS:
cmd>set 16 0
cmd>task 8
FOR INFO ON USING MTTY, SEARCH & READ.

HTC p3400 in boot logger mode.

Hello..I have HTC p3400. I have Brought this phone from DUBAI.And right now i am in INDIA.
There was wm 5 in it.but i was trying to update to WM6.It was successful.But Due to some SMS problem i have shown it to HTC-authorized service center.they try it change the operating system wm6.1 to wm5.5 and during ROM UPGRADE process the phone is stuck in boot logger screen...! nothing else happening ..!
I have putted the phone in ideal condition for 24 hours and then try to install wm6.1.But nothing is happening...it stuck on boot logger Screen.
Now what is the solution for this ?

Maybe your phone was relocked! and when you try to upgrade BUM! bricks! well many people can say its not bricked.... cause it has bootloader...
but this cant be answered if you dont give us more information...

Boot Problem
Hi !
I have HTC p3400 and i read the commetns of the people who upgraded the windows to 6.1. i also decided to u upgrade. i follw the procedure given by Xda developers. i just follow the fisrt step, there was a caution by the developers that dont try it on the new pocket pc having model no HT8 but i did'nt notice....after first step my pocket pc turned off and after that i don't start....even on connecting charger or usb cable it dont take any action. some body told me that is is booting problem.....i am so much tensed and i don't know what to Do, any body can please help me? i shall be very thankful to You.
