NavSensor detection outside of center navigation - Touch Pro, Fuze General

http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=2511016
The tool that shows that the entire navigation panel along the button as touch sensitive is very promising. It is wonderful to see that some have figured out how to use the DPAD.
It would be great to figure out how to programmatically respond to the other parts of the navigation area. Anyone have any ideas about where to find out this information? Thanks
Edit: I have been searching the web and it seems no one has accomplished this.

Just giving people an idea.

Well since I don't know how to code I figure id throw out an idea and see if it catches on. I noticed on allot of these phones that have software keys, they don't have an option to hide them without some sort of hassle.
My idea is simple, make a mini pull up list similar to the drop down menu but only big enough to store your software keys that will overlay the screen instead of being a permanent part of it.
OR possibly make the bottom part where the app menu button is usually located, make it page scroll able like the way different home screens work and put the software buttons there.
That in my opinion would make for a very good looking UI that is stock feeling and simple while expanding your screen.
Expanded desktop mod does it better and already exists.

Soft Keys on the XT926.. Help changing them please?

I need some assistance to get these keys back on my phone..
I don't understand why ANYONE would eliminate the menu button that is used in SEVERAL programs, and the Search function that is used on most apps as well.. I got my HD on Saturday and don't think I'll be able to adjust to not having access to program menus.
The three little squares that float all over the screen depending on which program you use, the search magnifying glass as well..
I don't really want to use any roms. They always seem to lose some sort of key functionality, like HDMI or something even more valuable.
Can ANYONE help me with this?
In my searches. The menu button on bar is placed there by the app. It's only removed when the app has the menu button in it. As for the magnifying glass. I've never seen it on the bar. I think if your running stock the best you can do is run and app called SoftKeyZ but it only changes the icons, I don't believe it add buttons.
You could use pie keys and delete the nav bar on stock. Or there was a topic somewhere about adding the keys to stock. Not sure where you'd have to search add menu button to navigation bar on here. Easiest method would be to run a custom rom or do the first option.
Your lucky day. I was bored

Post 2 has the manual method that I would assume works on the razr.

Pull up from the button in the game so you see the buttons plus the icon for the menu beside them. Press menu and set full screen off and reboot as it will tell you to.
In some games, turning off full screen still hides the nav

Same here. Love my S8. Just set up my DeX today...amazimg. only thing I don't like is the soft keys for the nav bar on bottom. But, there's an easy fix. Pull up the bar and you'll see a little hollow circle to the left. Tap it. It will turn solid and turn your soft keys to a fixed, always on navigation bar! Love it. Now it is the perfect device. I HIGHLY recommend the DeX btw. Its a game changer for any business person on the go who needs multiple full office set ups. Hope this helped!

Hi. Can you tell me please what is DeX and how to set it up? Thank you.
Dex is a dock to allow you to use the s8 as a chrome book, just add a blutooth keyboard and mouse connect the HDMi from the DEX to a tv or monitor and you now have a chrome book running from your phone, oh and it charges it as well

Navigation Bar Customization..

Hi.
I am using Huawei Mate 9 (rooted).
I would like to add some space in between the navigation button ie Recent, Home & Back. Because the default one is too close to each other made me feel really uncomfortable and would easily press the wrong button with my big fingers.
So I would like to know is it possible to achieve this?
I have tried installing this app - https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=xyz.paphonb.systemuituner&hl=en
But it's not compatible.
I thought it could be possible with editing some of the system values. Because my intention only to get some space between the buttons, that's all.
Thank you.
I'm searching the same as you. Hope someone find a way
I want two arrows (left and right) which allow me to choose between last opened apps
I want to have lock screen button on right, quick shortcut on left. Kangvip ROM able to achieve it but not stock ROM....
This is the only thing with this phone. The navigation buttons are to close together!

Disable "Back Gesture" for left side swipe on the screen

Dear friends,
basically I really like and love my P30 a lot,
but regarding NavigationDrawer menu and "back swipe gesture from the left screen side" it's a little bit complicated. Possibly I'm also missing something?
For non developers: NavigationDrawer menu is the app menu, many apps offer which can be swiped from the left side of the screen to the center.
For me and my usage it would totally be okay to just use the back gesture on the right side of the screen, unfortunately I cannot find any possibility to enable/disable this feature on separate sides of the screen.
Anyone of you facing the same problem?
I've found out that holding pressed on the left side of the screen seems to offer to open the NavigationDrawer menu in all cases, but it takes some milliseconds (half a second probably).
Thanks and all the best,
Mike
PS.: Also checked Google and searched this forum here, nobody writes anything about this anywhere - at least what I've (not) found
never had any problem with it..even in apps like google play. I use upper 1/4 of the border to make swipe from left to get acces to the navigation drawer. And beside that there is almost in all apps dedicated button for navigation drawer.
But I understand what do you mean by the post..would be great to have little more customization options regarding swipe gestures.
Hi guys.. Where can you activate this Navigation Drawer from? My p30 doesn't seem to have it
