Hi all,
Couldn't wait any longer for touch pro to be available through the neworks. Took the plung and ordered today through Expansys with T-Mobile Flext 35 with W n W. My only concern it the reports of bad recieption on t-mobile. What are my rights of return with on-line sellers if my signal is bad. In my home there is no 3g and my GSM signal is between 1 and 2 bars. Always when out and about will I get the H or just 3G I seem to remember some comments on Expansys not including H with their sim cards.
Thanks everyone for taking the time to read and responding.
College.
I bought exactally the same deal and I have no worries with the signal, I get HSPDA at work, home and my GF's (3 quite spaced out locations, and I also live in the bottom of a valley).
As for returning, your problems lie with T-Mobile as you have entered an 18 month contract with them. I don't think you have many rights with regards to canceling that contract, certainly no more than about 10 days I think. But if you are having problems with reception, I'd say it was down to your area rather than the network or the phone.

You should have a cooling off period - usually 14 days to return the product contract or not. Vodafone offer this, so i dont see why tmobile wont. You will have to pay for calls made etc.

Sounds reasonable, I'm sure if you were to phone them up they would tell you where you stand.
I believe that the law in the UK states that on any mobile contract, you must have a 14 day period within which you can return it for ANY reason.
if expansys refuse to allow you to do this, they are breaking the law!
Hows your phone and T-Mobile ???
I'm toying with the idea of getting the same deal you went for , but i'm just unsure about t-mobile , so hows it all going ????
I went through expansys but with the t-mobile combi 30, no problems as of yet
Actually there is no law that states there is a 14 day cooling off period, this somewhat changed when the major networks got a significantly high percentage of coverage, if you purchase a phone from a shop you do not have a right to return it unless it is faulty, ie orange will not allow a return when a phone has been purchased from a shop and advise you or should advise you of this at the time, as it was costing them so much money to deal with the returned phones.
however, seen as all purchases from the internet are govered under distance selling rules, you will always have 7 days in which to return the phone to the dealer if you do not want to keep it.
And of course you still have statute law which coveres faulty goods ect.

The Distance selling regulations are actually 7 working days btw....
Hi all,
I'm new to the forum, although I've been lurking a few weeks.
Anyway, I too got a Touch Pro through Expansys with the T-Mobile Combi 30+WnW contract.
I noticed a problem with it (the contract) yesterday, which was the billing date, which was set to the 20th (had to sign up to the T-Mobile website to find this info out), and I had only got the contract on the 1st! I thought it was a little unreasonable to want me to pay over a week before the end of the month and it was also a couple of days before I get reimbursed for my time at work (and I don't want to eat cereal for a week ). I read the FAQ and billing info which said I could change it if it was in 14 days of the billing date, which it was just! So I battled with 150, robot voice of annoyance, and after managing to confuse it twice, it dropping my call twice while waiting for a reply from tech support, and giving up waiting after 10 minutes, I used their contact form to email them. A guy called me back 5 minutes later, brilliant! He moved the billing date to the 26th, for some reason the 25th which I would have preferred was a problem, but never mind.
So far though I really like the phone, which is my first windows mobile and at least the buttons work, unlike those on my hate inducing K800i.
BTW I'm pretty sure Expansys website says you have 10 days to notify them that you are going to return the phone.

As for T-Mobile, I have had my phone for a few week now and no problems at all. I get great HSPDA signal for web browsing, after some faffing about I get YouTube streaming, calls are clear (1 dropped call in 2 1/2 weeks)and no problems with messaging either. T-mobile has by far one of the best Mobile Werb plans in the UK (Orange has 250mb limit and vodafone has 500MB fair useage, T-Mobile has 1GB Fair useage).
All in all I am very glad took the plunge!
I certainly think t-mobile offer a good service (unless abroad! - made my wallet somewhat lighter) but they have no business sense at all, as an existing customer with a month and a half left on my contract I can't use the same method to upgrade to the Touch Pro. I have a feeling it's going to be cheaper with vodafone etc when it launches though I dunno but I think I may hold out (Also for their faster HSPDA).
I wouldn't worry about fair usage policies, when I moved house with my t-mobile 1gb fair usage I didn't have the internet for a month so I plugged my n95 in and was able to get 1.5mbps to my pc. I think I must have used at least 10gb that month using it as my usenet client etc. All that happened was they sent me a letter two months down the line. I think unless you always use lots of BW, you really can see it as unlimited on any fair usage policy.

Ordered my XDA 2 from the above.... 3 weeks ago
£119.99 and on o2 200
still hadn't arrived today, so I rang them.......
They had cancelled my order
and now want to charge me
£139.99 and 02 400..........
So on principle I went somewhere else...........
so hopefully within the week........!!!!
(sorry to start on a rant, I'm usually quite fun!)
Hi Loony
I think that OneStop have made a mistake on their O2 tarriffs ..
The XDA II Is now listed (as you said) at £139.99 with O2 400 - monthly charge £30 per month
However the O2 website states that O2 400 is £45 per month. £30 per month is the equivalent price for the old advert which was O2 200 ....
So I wonder what you do get for £139.99 ? O2 400 or O2 200 ....
Neither - its the current O2 Double Up promotion.
400 minutes, and 100 texts for the first 4 months, then it reverts back to 200 minutes and 50 texts thereafter, and if you'll forgive me saying, it says so quite clearly on the Onestop site.
As an Olive Branch (only joking mates), what I can say is that Onestop are going against the grain, in that I once ordered a 7250 from them, and waited two months, not through them, but delays in Nokia just actually launching it.
By the time it was in, the price had dropped.
But Onestop insisted the price chargeable was at the point of order.
So I would put this to them, and point out that if the price drops, Onestop can and DO insist that customers pay the price when ordered, as this is what rules. So they should not have cancelled your order for no reason at all, and they price you pay should be the price at your original order.
Having said all this, the extra 800 texts would amount to some £80 so you are still saving in the long run, never mind the voice calls - I think they have re-rationalised their handset prices since moving from Singlepoint (rubbish) to O2 themselves as the Service Provider. O2 being a far better SP than Singlepoint, but NOT subsidising the handsets to the same degree...

agreed... this is their current 'deal'
But the 'deal' I signed up for was £119.99 O2 200 +50 sms (@£25 month rental) + free year insurance, +free car hands free kit.... (pre mid march)
But due to a [email protected] up by them, I never got it, and they now refuse to honor that deal.... wanting me to pay for more expensive one instead
Told them to Stuff it (in principle) and have gone to another company at £139.99 on O2 200 +200 free net mins +50sms each month + insurance and car kit..!!!
Looking forward to playing with new toy (48 hours they quoted!!)
The Palm 3c is beginning to show its age..!!!
Fair comment mate - but two things...
Where was O2 200 50 SMS EVER £25 a month. No where I have ever seen, and trust me implicitly - this includes Onestop. This tariff has ALWAYS been £30 a month
Secondly, I appreciate your principals, but you have now cut your nose of to spite your face.
Becuase you are now paying the same amount for 200 mins and 100 texts, as you could have at Onestop for 400 mins for the first four months - or in simple terms, losing out on some whopping 800 free anytime, any network minutes. And that's a lot of money's worth...
But fair do matey.

Just got the feeling they cancelled me on purpose just to make me re-apply for the new rate........
I made my bed etc...........
They don't call me Loony for nothing.
Yup the cheeky onestop bastids did that to me too. I had ordered it just before they changed the price and status said awaiting stock. 4 days later it had changed to cancelled!. I emailed them to say WTF, and they said they had emailed me 3 times asking for 2 proofs of ID as i'd had a phone less than 3 months form them before.
I didn't get this email, and they said as i hadn't replied within three days they cancel the order. I said you didn't really make much effort to contact me, they said what did you espect us to do. I replied well you have my email, mobile number home number home address!
3 days to reply to an email or they cancel your order, bollox if you ask me
I reckon its a case of offer went up lets screw people. I wont deal with them again, they are a bunch of 'coporate bankers'
it is a bit like cutting off your nose to spite your face, but its ****ing them up the arse too losing customers. I'd never recommend them now over the attitude and way they treated me.

and I KNOW they were lying, as I had kept ALL my emails scince early march...........
Yes even the spam.!!!
I have said this before but its worth repeating, O2 has no customer service, the whole system is set up in favour of O2, O2 comes first, last and any point in between. A bunch of faceless bastards that wouldnt piss on you if you were on fire. Their online service is a joke, great prices but anything go wrong and the best you can hope for is a solicitors/debt agency letter telling you to pay up or go to court.
Let me be absolutely, and abundantly clear...
Anyone and their pet goldfish can tell you two simple things...
1)Onestop Customer Service is the pits.
2)Singlepoint customer service is the pits.
The world and his oyster however, can also tell you that this never stopped thousands of people taking out a new handset with onestop, and at that time, with sh*tty singlepoine as the <lack of>service provider.
Why? Cos they weren't bothered about Customer Service (if they were, they were mad or disillusional), and they weren't even really too bothered about the tariffs even.
The reason they did it (at least I hope this is why so many sensible people took such a course of action), is because they were generally after the latest handsets at the very cheapest possible accumulative price.
And this, and this alone, was the ONLY thing onestop had to their credit.
So in short, if you want that nice new handset at what is usually the cheapest possible way of ever owning it, then you go to onestop. But you NEVER EVER expect it to be plain sailing getting it,or an easy time, or stress free - cos Onestop are just not capable of that.
At the end of the day though, you need to go into it with your eyes open, and be realistic.
You don't EVER order from Onestop on the basis of service. The ONLY consideration is price.
And if service plays too much of a part for you, then you don't go to onestop.
This post is not to complain at anyone - far from. Just to remind all and sundry that you pays your money, you takes your choice.
And if you don't like the choice, then you don't pays your money to onestop folks, because service is a none starter with them.

not to rub salt into the wound but onestop honored its £199.99 price for me. Still had to wait a whopping 4 weeks delievery though!

I ordered a XDA 2 from them on the 18 of march, at £119 on o2 200.
After many phone calls asking why they had taken my money ages ago, but still no phone, it did arrive, 3 weeks later.
There is a single dead pixel on the screen. So i phoned up a couple of times to let them know I wanted it replaced, and as I was heading over to Crewe - I would personally deliver it to swap it.
This was accepted and I drove over. When I arrived I dealt with the most arrogant tw*t I've ever come across. He took the phone and said he would check if they were in stock (I had asked them to keep one, as I would definately be coming that day).
He then came back saying they dont seem the phone as faulty and thats the end of it. I can prove beyond doubt, that he did not even take the phone from the box.
This leads me to suggest they just didnt have any in stock. He was rude arrogant, and a total wa**er basically.
Any ideas what I can do before I talk to trading standards or possibly lawyers?
My advice - quickly find (or 'create' ) another fault with it - pulling the power half way through a ROM upgrade might be a good one.
Why?
Because one dead pixel is perfectly within spec.
I'm looking for the specific page in the manual that mentions acceptance levels, and what colours they are etc. As soon as I find it, I'll mention it here.
But one dead pixel is acceptable, so start thinking about Plan B.
Mmm - can't find it now in the manual, but it went into detail as to what colours were touching each other, what dead pixel specs were, etc etc.
I wonder if I was reading it from the website or something.
Nevertheless, one dead pixel is within acceptable limits.
so basically.... theres a dead pixel (that i can clearly see), but it isnt faulty? doesnt seem fair but hey
hmm.
well plan b, is go on O2 Insure Gold (which correct me if im wrong, is virtually the same as Orange Care), and a month later ask for a replacement.

Only if you do what I told you already, and create another fault.
Otherwise, you aren't quite getting it mate.
As much as i would see it as a fault too, one dead pixel is NOT accepted as a fault.
So all the insurance in the world ain't gonna help, of you are only using THIS as the fault.
You need to 'find' another fault (and I suggested a great one) - though I accept no responsibility however.
And if you do that, then insurance wouldn't even be needed.
Its the same with TFT-LCD monitors, there can be a certain percentage of dead pixels and its acceptable. Its still acceptable if its dead smack bang in the middle of the screen as long as it isn't over the stated number.
Thats no good to the user that has to stare at it all day.
Another fault is great, but be careful, as if they find you've made the fault, you'll be liable. Better fault would be to say that the screen keeps fading intermittently or something. Then if the test it, you can say well it was intermittent!
Careful with the insurance tho, don't you have to pay the first £50?
With OSPS, if the fault is within 28 days, then they have to replace with a new one. After that time, the unit is sent back for repair
All,
have to say that o2 UK have managed to plumb the depths of lousy service and total indifference to customers requirements. They have increased accessory prices for XDaII as well as reducing the contents. They are managed by a centrally run policy which does not admit to deals being done in other stores and a refusal to honour previously agreed prices.
SHODDY SHODDY SHODDY!!! is the best way to describe them, if you are a customer I would urge you to leave them and if your not I certainly wouldn't join!!!
Dont buy any product from their stores as your likely to get it cheaper, quicker and less hassle from the web (uplands mobile) or other online provider.
Such a shame that a company which brought us a great device can't live up to its customers legitimate expectations!! If you have any more comments please post on this thread.
Thanks
Pete
I can say that was also the case for me at stockport branch, Asking about XDA 2 accessories to be told information like - "yeah we dont know about that" or "no there isnt such thing available for the xda2" !!! what!! when i know there is something available for it and get told there is no such thing, lets just say i dont goto the o2 shop anymore. (was about car kits)
Cheers
shody!
Well sad to say..............
I agree, the service supplied by o2 is crap.
I have been working overseas, my biggest bill was £150, my normal bill was around £12 - £35, I'm away for 7 months, I return home and recieve a bill for £540, when I question it, they say, well pay it and then we will sort it out. I say no,lets sort it now. The answer I get is the computer says its correct although we have major problems with our new system sending out or not sending out correct bills, just pay it and we will return it if youre found tobe right, .....I think not!
So yes, changing companies going to Vodafone, dear but seems tobe more on the ball.
O2 problems seem to be becoming more common lately.
I am on orange now simply because I got fed up of the high tarrif I was put on and I had too much trouble trying to change it. The website fails to complete an order as I always get "We are sorry.... Please call xxx" halfway through entering my address details to start a new contract.
Phoning O2 is even worse, after being transferred to different departments so much I ended up doing a circle I went to an O2 shop. They say they cant do xxx instore so give me one of their phones to call and dial a number. Person on phone says theyll try and do xxx but better going in a shop "cuz they'll definitely be able to do it instore" IM IN AN O2 SHOP MAKING THE CALL!
There is someone else I know who is on O2 Online and they simply arent reading his e-mails correctly and giving dumbed down irrelevant responses. Phoning up to sort out problems is too expensive when in certain situations its O2's fault theres a problem.
Ash
O2 are are the biggest pile of **** MAN
Anyone know of a place where O2 complaints will be taken seriously or can be at least accumulated until a point where the number is enough for O2 to take notice..online petition or something?
The ISP Pipex used to leave many customers with no option but to put up with poor service or switch providers, but a website by angry customers called 'pipexwoe' was set up to collect people's bad (or good) experiences and present them in a collected form. Since then the ISP made significant improvements which may have been in part due to the awareness raised by the website so much so there was talk of changing it to 'pipexwow'.
Something like this needs to be done for O2, they cant simply go on with poorly trained sales staff, a buggy website, buggy billing system and incompetent telephone and e-mail based customer service.
I'm still stuck with O2 just for insurance on the physical XDA 2, but that took about 10 failed website order attempts (yes I now have 6 new O2 e-mail addresses though  !), 50 minutes of phone calls, an hour on top on hold and 2 trips to an O2 shop. Being on hold was ok but every 7 minutes they cut you off and tell you to ring again - i.e. throw you right at the back of the queue again! I got an alternative phone number from the O2 shop without the cut off and got through in 10 minutes... silly!
Ash
On a general basis, I don't know of anywhere you can air your grievances.
But if you (as an account holder) have a serious complaint that you are getting no joy with via Normal Customer Services then they do have a HLC (High Level Complaints) team based in Leeds.
Whilst I have a phone number for them (and I'm not gonna post it here for obvious reasons), you can insist on your complaint being referred to them. They usually deal with complaints via OFCOM, but they are there to deal with referrals.
Having used them twice, I've found them very good. They sorted out my account problems, and compensated me accordingly. This was after normal CS said they couldn't do any more !
HTH
Mark
Agreed. You never get anywhere with O2 unless you are on Friends and Family!
O2 - the other side
I think caveat emptor applies.
I tried to buy my XDAII last Xmas a voucher to pruchase it for £150, but O2 did not seem able to honour it. I took it to Car phone warehouse who honoured the voucher.
I sent a respectful letter to O2 , and they sent me a £50 M&S voucher.
Mr.G
All
I agree with the respondent who has suggested a website to co-ordinate and publish and publicly punish o2 for their lousy service. I dont know how to go about it but I'd be more than willing to help if anyone knows how to set it up.
Further, aren't you guys amazed that the number of companies with hi level complaints departments these days? That alone says more about the standard of service delivery that anything else possibly can.
These are entire departments set up to protect the CEO etc from the legitimate complaints of customers and to appear to the regulator as customer focused.
If that were true, they would surely spend less on complaint resolution and more on frontline service delivery. If it were true, then the very mechanisms and processes which have given rise to their existence would work effectively on our behalf.
or am I just being silly!

I wouldn't bother, he leaves in a month or so.
Try the Customer Services Director...
I've had enough of 02 recently, they've messed my billing around to the point where even though i've sucessfully paid everything in full by Direct Debit, I still get randomly disconnected and then I have to spend 50p a minute calling them to get it sorted out.
I've got the same contract as i'm on now with Orange, so i'm unlocking my xda2 and moving over.
I left O2 last week too, My bills were approaching £70 a month and i wasnt using any more minutes than i usually do, they seem to be ripping me off for data access, when i phoned them, they couldnt even find any data access on my bill and i just couldnt get a straight answer out of them as to why it was so high,
Plus my 12 month contract was up so i phoned them to see if i could get a free motorola razr out of them as i would have been happy staying with them really but when i asked they just said i would be better canceling my contract and getting a phone from a 3rd party supplier as i would get a better deal, so i did, but not with O2 this time !!!,
When i was about to leave orange many years ago, they bent over backwards offering me free phones and discounts if i stayed with them, not with O2, they just said i was better off leaving and that my contract would terminate in 30 days, they dont seem to care if they loose customers anymore
I cant see me going back to O2 anytime soon now
The thing that swayed me to 02 was the text bundles that they offered at a time when orange weren't offering, which is mainly what I use my phone for. Now, I can get exactly the same contract with orange, and without all the 02 hangups it's time I went back.
Looks like I'm going to have to pay myself out of my T-mobile contract and go vodafone.
I see on their website that they are throwing in a bluetooth headset + in car holder. Am I likely to be able to get anything else if I phone up or go to Vodafone shop such as in car charger etc ?
Only paying £30 for the Flext35 with web and walk and looks like it'll be around £38 for the Vodafone deal with free phone.
Cheers,
Andy
Hi Andy, Make sure you sign up with quidco.com first. Clear all your cookies from your browser and them go through them. Should be able to make 90 or 100 quid from signing up.
Any reasons to not go Vodafone?
I've been waiting for T-Mobile to bring out the Touch Pro for what seems like so long I've nearly had enough!
Even though I'm on a good deal with T-Mobile, might go Vodafone with this.....................
Anyone got any ideas why I shouldn't??
Charging over 500mb data a month??
Any other downsides??
I think coverage is better than T-Mobile in Scotland?
JamieMag: Legend, hadn't even thought of that. £90 quid pays for almost half of buying out my T-Mobile Contract, top work fella!
/Edit: Just had a look at the T+C's and they don't cover business purchases of which the Touch Pro is one. Any ideas on how to get round this issue?
/Edit2: Should really read more closely, according to Quidco, a business purchase is worth £100!!! http://www.quidco.com/vodafone-business/ Awesome.
Roblpm: I've not found any downsides with vodafone. Of every network I've come across they have the best coverage down south / in London. Perhaps this will encourage T-mobile to get their testing expedited or treat customers better.
One further thing, if I want to sign up online for this phone online with Quidco cashback you have to go to via the business site. Is this ok?
Voda is terrible. Coverage around here (Nr Manchester) is awful. Flat out doesn't work around Manchester Oxford Road, didn't work for me when I worked in East-Central London and signal varies a lot in Lytham - even in areas where the website says I should get full 3G.
I only have one other friend stupid enough to be on voda and we joke that we can never get hold of each other because one of us is bound to have either no signal or 'network busy'.
I get 'network busy, try again?' about 1 in 5 calls I make. We joke that 'the other person on voda in Lytham must be trying to make a call'
Can anyone comment on coverage in south east? Everyone at work seems happy with them. Cheers

From London, Maidstone and Ramsgate/Margate I've always had good signal and usually HSDPA. I'm going to upgrade to the Touch Pro tomorrow
Hopefully £35 for 600 minutes, Unlimites Texts and Unlimited Data. The phone better be free too! (I believe it will be!)
I live in the South East and work in London and the reception is brilliant. There are black spots for every network and this seems to get greater the further out into Kent you go, but this is probably level in comparison with other operators.
Never had an issue with Vodafone myself and have had service where others haven't (of course this works in vice versa).
At the end of the day I feel it is just personal preference and I am happy to have been with Vodafone for 10-12 years or so.
Great stuff, thanks for the feedback. As you say all networks will have their strong and weaker areas.
Just wanted to double check that this quidco thing worked for you guys ? and also what deals did you get with voda there are 2 almost identical deals which appeal to me
1= £40 per month for 750 mins 250 texts and unlimited data (phone = £150)
2= £45 per month for 750 mins 250 texts and unlimited data (phone = £ free)
deal 2 is cheaper over the 18 month period
PS all prices are after VAT
To those that have a voda TP, does the phones shell have Vodafone branding on it, or is it a standard HTC phone case (no voda logo)?
I got a vodafone touch pro a week ago.
Has discreet branding at bottom of screen in white font and on back case.
Phone comes with vodafone rom with red/white touchflo interface and only omission from HTC advertised spec is youtube prog is missing! However using coreplayer instead.
I got a better deal by going direct to vodafone than by using Quidco and the standard internet offer. On £35 for 500 mins / 100 texts and unlimited internet. Phone was free. Got 2 months line rental free and a bluetooth headset thrown in. Got this deal by going into vodafone store and then chipping away, threatening to go to O2 etc. They tried to get me on the higher price plan but this is perfectly adequate for me. You can also downgrade/upgrade after 9 months.
My first HTC handset so have only been brave enough to change the icons to the HTC 3d so far. Actually quite like the bright vodafone touchflo so will keep it for now.

I got a vodafone touch pro a week ago.
Has discreet branding at bottom of screen in white font and on back case.
Phone comes with vodafone rom with red/white touchflo interface and only omission from HTC advertised spec is youtube prog is missing! However using coreplayer instead.

I've gone for deal 2 via Quidco. I've used quidco with dell before when buying a laptop and got the cash ok after around 3 weeks. I think the contract has to run for at least 1 month before they credit you though.
Enjoy

Is this a 12 or 18 month plan? I intend calling Vodafone and using this info to get the same deal
I just got a cracking deal from Voda in store, BIG THANKS to thebearhack for the suggestion
***£30*** per month for 750 mins 250 texts and unlimited data (phone = £ free)
+ I got a free nokia headset worth £30 + a free pay as you go sim
The only downside is that it is a 2 year deal, but TBH although my last three contracts have been 18 month I have ended up staying for 2 years as I waited for a new phone to be released so I dont mind.
My deal was 18 month 'business' plan. The fact that I don't have my own business was ignored! I am new to vodafone as far as they are concerned last phones were in my wife's name.

mine was a 2 year business plan, (apparently I own my own business !!! I wonder what I do maybe im an international playboy millionaire )
Order mine online last Monday, and not had anything from them so far. :-(
Have you tried phoning or emailing them?
I'm waiting on mine too. No exact delivery date given but told it should be within 2 weeks which means they haven't got a clue.
I did read a comment on wmpoweruser that they had to send the 1st shipment back due to quality issues as something was faulty on them. Don't know If it's true but could be the reason for the delay.
I also want to know if the Omnia 7 from T-mobile is locked?
I would have thought so but I thought you could always ask tmobile to unlock it for you.
Or easier still buy from a reseller online and it comes unlocked and it's cheaper, the only downside is 1gb against 3gb and not as fast speed but you can either pay 5 pounds a month to upgrade or chance your luck buy ringing them and ask to have the full speed unlocked. Say it's an android phone as that worked for some people.
Thanks chaps, I will give them a call on Monday and see what they say.
I was told by them that there were QC issues and the first shipment was returend to suppliers.

What does this mean?
Sorry, I was in a rush earlier.
I meant If you buy the phone from a reseller it will be much cheaper but it will have a 1GB data allowance against 3GB when purchased direct. And you will get not get the full high speed internet, you will be throttled down.
You can phone them up and try your luck and they might remove the speed limit, If not you pay £5 a month to upgrade to the full speed and 3GB.
But compare the prices and It's not worth buying direct and resellers are normally unlocked with no branding.
Plus don't forget Quidco or Topcashback etc for extra money back, about £30 on average.
Phoned them again today, and they said they "might" get some in Friday :-( but they said that about today too.
Turns out the QC issue they had with the phones was with the packaging...
Oye. When they mentioned the Friday delivery they told 'but they still need to go through QC first' implying they don't expect them to ship tomorrow.
Well hopefully it should be sorted soon as a lot of people want that phone (inc me)
Bad news according to the buymobilephones twitter account. Says tmobile have informed them It will take up to 2 weeks before stock arrive
It's getting to a stage where the windows phone stock is as rare as kinect stock.

Sounds like real bad news for us who want one
Got a message from T-mobile, "my phone is in stock" , i need to call back to make payment.
Odd, I already payed online I thought. However I rang anyway.
Now, out of stock !!!!!!!!!!! I was not happy.
They only had a small number of units and I took too long to ring back.
I've now told them to send the next one they get, and take payment.
nope, got mine from orange in london cos i knew they had them. I was with t mobile but they said they had software issues and wouldnt be releasing the phone until it was sorted or something so being the impatient guy that i am i went to Orange (london)
T-Mobile do *not* have stock of the Omnia7. Three have had stock since Tuesday and Orange got stock today.
If you've ordered already, best cancel and go for Orange on next day delivery. You can still piggyback the T-Mobile signal, and you get free picture messaging too
Just tried T-Mobile again and they have no idea when the 'packaging' issue will be resolved. Wouldn't be surprised if Everything Everywhere is deliberately letting Orange get the initial sales for some reason.
Regardless, I couldn't get them to do an 18 month contract below £40, even though Buymobiles.net are doing it at 18 month £30.
I got bored and ordered from Orange - If you ring them and push, they will do the handset free on 18 month Panther 40 for £35 per month using a credit on your bill. You also get the standard orange benefit of being able to upgrade after 15 months.
The reason I did it is I'm very impatient and sick of waiting !
Mickey
Nice one Micky. Ordered mine online. Paid £99 with £27.50/month. Should save about £80 over the usual price, so happy with that
'Packagin issue'? That has to be the most idiotic reason to not offer a product at launch. Especially when it's the only winpho7 handset they offer.
thats wierd!
my omnia 7 came 2 days ago from tmobile?!!
is there any way i can get my contract with orange cancelled if they are not delivering the service i pay for? i have an 18 month contract, which is only a few months old but have increasingly noticed poor signal when making calls and unbelievably slow 3g connection - to the point it doesnt work at all some days. im paying good money for this and i am not getting what i pay for!
i live close to a large town centre in a busy area and the signal there is appalling, as it is all to frequently where ever i go in the uk. i have several handsets (mostly android - but not all!), my friend has a nokia with the same network issues, so it is 100% network and not hardware related.
i also have the t-mobile/orange roaming feature enabled with barely any, if any, improvement!
why should i be stuck to this for another year if its not what im paying for?
anybody have any advice?
I dunno where you live, but for orange France you could concel your contract well till this week i guess, coz they were increasing the price because of increased VAT (TVA) ...
I suggest you to call the costumer service, and tell them about your problem while insisting that you paying for things you aren't getting, or else you'll be forced to switch to another type of contract that offers only the services you are getting, (small montly fee contract = small penalty for the months left in your contract)
You're past any period where you can return the contract due to signal-related problems.
Most networks offer 14 days or so at the start of a contract in which you can return it ddor whatever reason. After that, generally you can only cancel by paying off all the remaining line rental.
Try speaking to Customer Services but I'd be very surprised if they'll be willing to just let you go.
