Hi all, I have received a unlock code for my V1415. I want to unlock the phone for use on the Orange network, excuse my ignorance but where do I enter the unlock code? I get no prompt when I turn the phone on, just a searching network message?
thanks
My V1415 was not network locked, have you checked to see if the network selection is automatic and not manually set to Vodafone?
If the phone was SIM locked, I would expect that when you put a non-Vodafone SIM in it it would ask for the unlock code.

raglits, you're totally right.
long time ago, i bought(?) a htc mteor that was locked to orange network. as soon as i putted(?) a non-orange SIM in it, it asked me for the unlock code, and could then be unlocked without any hassle...

I've just tried putting my T-Mobile SIM in an Orange C600 off eBay. I've been given un option to input an unlock code; what on earth is that code and where do I get it from? An Orange retail shop?
Your phone is locked you need to unlock it before you use it with non-t-mobile sim card.
call t-mobile and tell them u have a phone that u want to use in europe with a european card, b/c roaming is too expensive, and that u need a sim unlock code. tell them what phone u have. it worked for me
I have a HTC S620 that is locked to T-mobile network.
I've purchased the unlock code from T-mobile and I want to unlock my device. But I have 3rd party security software on the phone so when I insert my Vodafone SIM an switch it on the screens flicks between the security software and the unlock code text box.
Is there any way to unlock the device with the T-mobile SIM still in the phone?
I have recently unlocked a Nokia device by inputting the +pw etc and the unlock code.
Is there a sequence I can follow like this for my S620?
Thank you

You was answered it only takes another sim card of which you could buy a pay & go for cheap as chips till get new sim.
I wanna know how i can do this and im not sure if its unlocking or not
I want to use this phone on straight talk but the phone is meant for Boost Mobile. Is there any way of making it so that I can make it work for straight talk?
Motorola MOTO G XT1031
What im really asking is Do i have to unlock the sim card or unlock the phone itself?
You have to unlock the phone.
You can ask Boost Mobile support for the unlock code. If you say you need it to be unlocked so that you can use a different carrier's sim when you travel outside the country, carriers usually give the code to you as long as you have owned the phone for more than six months. Otherwise, you can google for sites where you can buy the unlock code. Once you have the code, you have to follow instructions specific to your Motorola Moto G to enter it in. I googled and found this:
How to enter the unlock code:
1. Power on your phone with a non-accepted SIM card. A non-accepted SIM card is a SIM from another network provider, other than the network you originally bought your phone from.
2. Wait for your phone to read: “Enter unlock/ subsidy code” or “SIM Network Unlock PIN”.
3. Enter the unlock code
4. Your phone will read: “Unlock Successful”.
Once unlocked, you will be able to use any sim with this phone.
Also, this is not the same as unlocking your bootloader so do not get confused while Googling
i thought the unlock was applied to the Sim card?
No the unlock is applied to a phone.
For example, if you take this sim card and use it with any unlocked phone it will still work. So the sim is not locked, the phone is.

Hi everyone,
I'm in a bit of a mess with my Samsung S6. I've bought it from ebay and it turns out it's locked to O2. I've tried cellunlocker, unlockthatphone & mobileunlocked and they've all been unsuccessful when trying to provide the network unlock code - stating that the code isn't available for my IMEI.
Is there any other way I can unlock my phone? Or am I going to be stuck on O2 forever?!?!
I had a lot of trouble getting my EE locked S6 unlocked but in the end I found somewhere decent that was able to get the code in less than a day. I used http://www.samsungcodesource.com
How much did you pay to unlock it?
Just an update, I've now tried unlockunit & samsungcodesource as well and they can't seem to find a code either.
When I try to put a different sim card, I'm expecting something to come up to say that the sim can't beused due to a network lock, but nothing appears.
The only time anything appears is when I try to make a call and a popup appears saying "Not registered on network".
Does this mean my device is network locked? Or could it be a region lock or something?
Is there anyway to confirm that my phone is network locked?
Hey quill37,
PM, me I can have it rechecked for you, maybe it is possible to unlock it

Hi there, did you manage to resolve your problem. The same thing has happened to me. The bloke stated it was unlocked but its locked to O2 and am on EE. I've tried unlocking it but to no avail. Did you manage to unlock yours?
If you cant unlock by codes, buy the usb method here. Takes only a few minutes once the process starts
Also make sure your phone is not blacklisted. Check it using checkmend here
http://www.samsungcodesource.com have not sent me my unlock code after 72 hrs and they have not replied to any of my numerous emails
Hello friends,
I got Galaxy A50 network locked from foreign Country ( Canada ) , Firstly, It was asking to enter network unlock code but i didn't had any unlock code. Then, i gave it to one shop for unlock network code. They took 2 weeks but could't fix it. Then, I contacted back Canada to carrier with which my mobile was locked. I explained them everything. They said that your contract is over now and they can provide me network unlock code for free. I have given them my IMEI number and they replied me back with unlock code. I was very happy. But, When i turned my mobile on with new sim card then it was telling " Sim Network PIN blocked, Please Enter sim PUK code. I believe that shop people entered wrong network PIN too many times. So my question is , Which Sim network PUK code my mobile is asking??? The SIM that shop people used or the original carrier back from Canada or the sim i am inserting in current situation?? I have tried to put PUK code of my current situation and original carrier back from Canada but no success. What will be next possible way to fix it??
Please help me out
Thanks
