Please get your facts right. i-mate doesn't go by HTC manufacture anymore. These aren't HTC products.
Hi,
Heard anything about HTC's upcoming products for this year? Seems to be pretty quiet.
They must be brewing something. Could it be they're busy coming up with a brand new platform after the MSM7xxx mess? Seems just too quiet for a company that's been blitzing the market with products for some time now.
Any rumours or facts would be appreciated. Feel a little starved of info!
what about HTC "Dream/Omni" phone??
to be released later this year.
hi all
at school, one of my teacher told me that in march, someone from microsoft will come at school and will show us WM7 working..
i doubt about this.
do you think it's possible?
yes its possible, but probably a pre wm7 but a official beta very possible.
Why do you doubt it? Based on most rumors I've heard, WM7 is probably in a working form within MS right now and devices should be available before summer of next year.
March sounds about right for when we'd see demos.
i doubt it because i'm in a small computing school, and it seem unrealistic to see wm7 presented to 30 students... but perhaps i'll see wm7 here before
WM7 will probably be unveiled in January at CES or in February at MWC or, at the latest, in March at MIX.

As reported from Phandroid, the new information has come to us courtesy of AndroidGuys. According to them, HTC will be releasing four new handsets. The codenames are the HTC Speedy, HTC Spade, HTC Mecha and HTC Blitz.
From reliable sources, I have found out a reason to be very happy. It was on November 5'th 2007, that Android first unveiled itself.
The Wikipedia Link : https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Google_android#History
It says:
On November 5, 2007, the Open Handset Alliance, a consortium of technology companies including Google, device manufacturers such as HTC and Samsung, wireless carriers such as Sprint Nextel and T-Mobile, and chipset makers such as Qualcomm and Texas Instruments, unveiled itself, with a goal to develop open standards for mobile devices.[9] That day, Android was unveiled as its first product, a mobile device platform built on the Linux kernel version 2.6.[9] The first commercially available phone to run Android was the HTC Dream, released on October 22, 2008.[30]
It has been a long way, and we are still the most popular operating system out there.
One of the websites out there, Pocket-Lint made an announcement...

What is strange though is that Google itself hasn't really celebrated the fact. No fanfare, no new announcements (we were partly expecting Android 5 to be announced - the portents were strong, certainly), and no Google doodle. Doesn't mean we can't toot into a party blower on its behalf, though.
