Hey all the rom cooks and others see this link and see if we can get this on our wizards??
http://www.mobile-review.com/pda/review/htc-touch-diamond-full-part2-en.shtml
if already available plz attach on this thread thnx.....
Did not work on Wizard, because Diamonds are to different from Wizards (hardware). This will be a secret wish.
Greetings Mirko
It does look great and I think alot of people over at Dev. and Hacking section have some skins with Mortscript and throttle launcher or whatever that are similar to Touch Flo 3D. But for me, they were too memory hungry for our 30 MB or less of unused RAM wizards. I can't afford to run those UI programs in the background, hell, I have a hard enough time getting new Opera to run while streaming satellite radio or which ever other program, for that matter.
Not just that, the cpu speed is too slow, doesn't have a graphics chip which means software rendering.
Here is the link for TouchFLO UI in case anyone want's to try it!

Yeah i dont think anyone could get anything that good on the wizard
Wizard
CPU: 195 Mhz
RAM: 64 MB
Diamond
CPU: 528 Mhz
RAM: 192 MB
Unless someone can code up something that doesnt need alot of power and also looks good, but idk??
lets hope we can get some one to design a similar ui for our wizards, in a way that they consume less memory and cpu power........

HI guys,
I'm the owner of HTC clone T3238 and I'm wondering about few things:
1. which graphic card (hardware) is inside?
2. did anybody succeed to install touchflo 3d?
3. currently, i'm running spbmobile shell 3.5 but 3d carousel is not working most probably due to a missing opengl driver. Therefore is there any opengl driver for such phone?
Thanks,
...MpegTv....
it's wiki page http://wiki.xda-developers.com/index.php?pagename=HTC_Elf
1. non everything is software rendering and the cpu only being a omap 200Mhz not much speed
3. no
I'm sorry but you're not right.
This phone HTC clone T3238 has CPU:Marvell Pxa310 on 624MHZ, 256MB Flash Rom+128MB Ram, wifi, gps...... It's a copy of HTC JADE 100
That's completly different phone from the link that you've posted.
it looks the same as in this link http://pdadb.net/index.php?m=specs&id=1479&c=htc_touch_3g_htc_jade_100 and the only difference is better CPU on 624 MHz.
Anybody knows what kind of vga card is inside?

Hi, did anyone solve this isue?
I have a t4242+ and i want to know if it has hardware support for opengl..
Thanks a lot!
can somebody please tel me how to make my game Toonwarz run smooth on my mt3g. I unrooted it yeserday because i am getting a 8 gig class 6 sd card tomorrow, but it still runs kind of choppy on my stock phone with 1.6...please help
2 posts about the same thing and both of them are in the wrong forums. This is not Android Development. But here:
1. Download task killer and make sure you don't have any programs open that you don't need. Some of the can be quite a memory hogs.
2. Clear your maps/browser/StreetView/market caches to free up some space.
3. Contact developer with your concerns.
And please... post in the right section next time.
Good luck.
The GPU in that device and all other 1st gen phones are toooo old to play advanced 3D games at smooth frame rates. Newer phones like droid,N1,etc are better at gaming than Magic/Dream/Hero....I played that on magic and dream and it was slow on both...I stick to gbaoid or Snesoid....
iv'e seen people play toon warz on their g1 before and it runs smooth...and plus the processor difference between the mt3g and droid is only 28 mhz or so...so any other way to fix it?

Processor speed isn't everything. The Cortex (Droid) processors have much higher instruction throughput at the same clock speeds than the ARM11 (G1/mT3G).
NOT BUMPING THIS THREAD: Look, you're in the wrong section, you've been given suggestions, and there's not a magic button that will make it suddenly fast, especially on a stock phone. Oh, except make sure that "Settings->Applications->Development->Make phone faster with leprechaun magic" is checked. That gets a lot of people.
how do i fix this then...i have a mytouch3g

go faster magic button here

Actually after benchmarking few roms htcclays gamercore gives 26fps, some only 19. Try using this rom and set cpu to 528 min/max while playing to make sure it stays at full speed. also use Jit.
Dont use swap or compcache both are slow for gaming, have minor benefits with lots of widgets but slow down over time. You also dont need A2Sd either, running apps from phone memory is faster than any Sd (even class 6)
can you please tell me how to do this if i am re-rooting my phone...so the process from the beginning please
Fps on any handheld, nuff said.
I heard from a friend that the hd2s processor only utilises 7% of its power, and that there is a mod/cab on this forum that unlocks the full potential making the phone superfast.
Im not referring to Clean Ram which I have already downloaded but the actual cab for unlocking the full potential of the processor.
Ive been searching for it for ages but cant find it
Can anyone help
cheers
Gadget
So your suggesting it uses 7% of 1 ghz? Somehow I dont think so, or they would have stuck a lower processor in there.
There might be some energy saving feature which means it uses only some of the power when its not doing much.
But I cant see them restricting it that much.
it's maybe chainfire HD2 driver
isnt 1GHZ good enough for you LEO guys.... LOL
WR-Tools ResInfo
my hd2 runs with 553MHz and 336MB RAM;
wana see how fast your cpu cane run?
try WR-Tools ResInfo (freeware, multi-lang),
also shows the akku temp and runtime;
ww.wolfgang-rolke.de/wince/
(cant link the url right, new user ect..)
use "ResInfo.ARM.300.cab" for the Qualcomm CPU in your HD2
maby it shows crap, but i cane belive the infos from this prog..
greatz!

You are wrong. It utilises it's full potential if it's needed.
yes, i was wrong..
553MHz = BUS speed
is there anything to underclock the Hd7>
Is it possible to get TF3D running on the MEGA for too?
I had installed it before, but TF3D start in an endless loop.
I dont think so, Mega doesnt support 3D, missing OpenGL driver (if i am not wrong)
Chriss, indeed don't do this.....there are some people who have it on similar devices (not Mega). Requires a lot of development.
Only solution for now wait till somebody has it done and reports it working....

hi, i have surfed a lot in the web and the results is:
MSM7225 528 is in touch2, snap, touch cruise, ecc ecc.
528mhz (overclocked by me at 640mhz)
and at this moment there aren't 3d drivers but when i copy 3dmapi.dll and openglES.dll in the windows directory i can run some 3d app.
i have installed also touchFlo3D and it start but not see well
help me to start 3d on this ppc please
How you overclocked MSM7225 , please share with us.

Man I have to say this sounds great. It's good to finally see some more progress for this device. I hope that you can make a guide for overclocking the processor and that tf3d will be available soon
Correct me , but with only coping files and overclocking a few MHz above wouldn't do the job .... from all i've read , it seem that HARDWARELY Mega could't support TF3D , if i'm wrong then it's only a matter of time before some1 make our dream(1 of 2)* come true !
P.S. *our other dream is Android runnin on Mega ;]]
Android will be closer simply because more people are interested in that......

we all united can do this
Device on steroids..... Thanks for sharing!
Have you noticed real performance improvement? Any impact on apps like TomTom?
Want to try but am a little careful because of generating extra heat or battery drain. Did you notice this?
We are getting a bit off topic......found these 2 threads with info on overclocking:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=725290
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=6564058
Some improvement reported in certain applications but also more battery. Otherwise seems stable app.

Hi.
Yes it is completely faster, also in TouchFlo and Menu, Messages, Internet, ecc, ecc.
In my mega no extra heat of the phone. The only things is that the battery drains a little bit before...but life is same good...but with more speed increase
very nice team i wish i could see andriod and touch flo 3d on my mega
Yes, it is possible to run TF3D on Mega.
I have bought my Mega a month ago, and it is coming with TF3D from the operator or manufacturer.
It is running pretty good and fast. Battery lasts 4-5 days.
I think that these "Mega"s, that are produced last year are coming with TF3D and newer ROM from the manufacturer.
Could you post some pics with TF3D running and also the specs of your MEGA??
Because it is impossible to run TF3D with the original processor and RAM.

yes i am curious too
Over clocking problems
Guys, over clocking may damage the device, as written on the HTC Performance config.
Still if it's working fine, just let me know.
it is ! work fine more than 8 monts
Just checking up on this thread, is there any news on the mega having 3D?http://forum.xda-developers.com/images/smilies/confused.gif
Im on Android since more a year now, starting with T-Mobile Pulse and since summer, going on with my HTC Desire.
My question is, why android needs this power of hardware, in order to run smooth. The old iPhone 2G got nearly same hardware to the pulse (550 MHz, 256 MB RAM etc), but was much faster(smoother). Ive read a lot about hardware optimised code fpr ARM7 or similar, but the performance is still poor, even with overclock on leedroid 2.2...
On my second computer with a intel pentium III Chopperine 933 MHz i could realy good surf the internet, even nowadays, or play games like battlefield 1942 or counterstrike.
Could it be possible, to improve the perfomance by hand otimising the code? Would even spend time on this, able to prog, but at first i want to her your oppinions.
Greets from Germany and sorry for my poor english
The fluid ui that the iPhone has is mostly because they use gpu accelerated support. Android for some reason does not and I think only minor ui features are done on the gpu, some phones might have custom work done and its why it feels more fluid or less slow.
The other thing is a iPhone is standard in hardware. You don't have the issue of a iPhone 4 with or without more memory or less. It's easier to code and optimize when you have only a set of rules.
What are you doing to your phones??
I have a Nexus One (same hardware as the Desire) and i'd willingly challenge any iphone 4 user to a speed contest
GPU accelerated GUIs make sense to me, but die missing feature in Android doesnt really make sense. As we know, there is an AMD Z340 GPU inside, could it be possible to make it boost the graphics in 2D mode?
What iam doing with my desire? whoa, even surfing this page without the xda app isnt really fun, just slowy moving flash sucks performacne in huge numbers, that websites arent rally usable at all when running a video.
Now on Desire, most thinks are running fluently, but there are still lags, even with the custom rom. Using the Pulse was horrible, while it got 550MHz CPU and 192 MB ram. remember, its a mobile!
Here is a german report about software tweaking, which could make software 5 times, if the developers would reconcentrade on the used hardware again, like they have to do on gaming systems like GBA or newer. GBA got abot 3MHz! but runs Pokemon very well. Now imagine what could be possible, if our operating system would be better written.
Question again: it is possible to do some tweaks on a kernel or eveb androiditself without being msater coder?
