Original stock ROM - Touch Cruise General

Can the original Stock ROM from HTC be installed without changing the original SPL (with olipro's Hard SPL ) ? 10x in advance

Yes you can, BUT only if you find the rom in the HTC e-club when you signed in.
If you want to forexample use the HTC official roms from the forum you must use HardSpl. Fine example is the 1.28.457.2 rom which is official but it is the Asian version, that you cant flash with orginal spl.. Someone who now this for 100% can correct me if im wrong. iIm only 99% sure

Kaiser vodafone uk stock rom

can anyone dump a vodafone kaiser uk rom for me?
The problem is that i bricked my phone by not installing hardSPL and trying to flash another rom on it. Now the only thing i get is the bootloader. I can't flash hardSPL on it or any other rom. The only thing that i can flash is a original vodafone uk rom. After that, i would be able to install hard SPL an then any other rom. But i don't have any original vodafone uk rom and i can't find anyone on any forum.
Can someone please help me?

i've already tried that one. It gives me another error: vendor id error. So i really need the version. Most favorable the 1.56.xx version. But i think that any other original vodafone uk rom will do the trick

Here you are mate http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=337066
Its the second sticky in this forum. The rom you're looking for is on the second post in the sticky.
I've also tried that one. But it is not a ruu. It is not signed and it also doesn't want to install. So i need a nother one that is a signed ruu.
y dnt u try the WWE one??? i think it could work
there's no need for this anymore..
I just fixed my phone by using mtty
Typing: set 14 0
and then: boot
then flashing hardSPL and then any other rom...now everything is working again

thanks for the reply
it seems that i should be able to do as a normal upgrade with no need to worry about CID and having to run hard_spl if its the official HTC one. Does that mean that any region rom will work as long as its from their website?
complete noobie as you can tell!!!

If your flashing a HTC Rom onto a HTC branded device, you shouldn't need to worry about HardSPL or CID.
HardSPL is a new bootloader that allows you to flash ROM's with a different CID (Carrier ID). If you are flashing one from the same carrier it shouldn't be a problem.
You should only need to do this if you are flashing a Cooked ROM by one of the Chef's on this site.
I think all the above is right...
Can someone please confirm my understanding of this is correct?

I believe you'd get an "Invalid Region" error if you tried to flash a WWE Rom to a Chinese Language device? I could easily be wrong though - I've never tried it...
I'd Hard SPL and CID unlock before flashing any Rom's anyway - Official or otherwise (but that's just me).

Now you say that, I would always HardSPL before flashing, just in Case.
I've unlocked everything on my device.

Thanks for the quick response.
Guess I'll do the hard_spl way.
Thanks again

Upgrade original wm6 to original 6.1 without HardSPL possible?

Thanks you all genius for bringing so much fun to the world.
Back to the topic. I've one TyTN II with original HTC CHT 6.0 ROM with it. I want to change it to the original HTC WWE 6.1. Without using HardSPL, is it possible to work it out in the following way?
1. Extract the SPL in the original WWE ROM
2. Use SSPL-KAIS to flash the SPL into Kaiser
3. Flash the ROM
Referring to sirsycho's guide http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=335568, it said the ROM should be flashed first for reverting back progress, but without putting HardSPL in it, how to get it done? Or should the progress be
1. Apply HardSPL
2. Flash
3. Write the original SPL back using SSPL-KAIS
Thanks very much for your guidance

Actually I found this note from speedbird http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=397550
In fact I should follow up the post.. sorry for opening a new post...
Anyway just want to ask if it is possible to revert back to the original HTC SPL after the flashing progress (or as the final step)?
or is HardSPL the must during the whole procedure?
Thanks
hardspl is for mostly flashing cooked roms. if u r upgrading a official rom by htc to another official rom by htc (for same device) u don't need hardspl.
but it is good to have.

Hard SPL for an Original Shipped ROM

Hi to everybody!
I need to change rom for changing language.
The device is not CID unlocked, so I need to unlock it, but I would like to not brick it:-D
At the moment my Herald has:
IPL 4.14.0001
SPL 4.14.0000
I can directly hardSPL it and then flash the original HTC rom?
If I decide to change again the rom with another cooked rom I think there could be less problems then flash the original one, isnt'it?
Can you give me a reason for using USPL?
Thanks!

Warranty??

Hey,
I am going to send my phone back to the warranty service because i have a very poor Wifi reception and dust under the screen...
But i have a custom ROM installed..
Do i need to instal a original HTC ROM??
And how do i unistal Hard-SPL??
I think you have to go back to original ROM, perhaps you can find it in the Wiki here:
http://wiki.xda-developers.com/index.php?pagename=HTC_Topaz
Or in Topaz section
I allready have a rom from the HTC.com website, official
But how do i unistall Hard-SPL??
If you read the link I posted above, there is a section on how to hardspl
Extracted: NOTE 2: this is unsigned Hard-SPL. no limitations on flashing ROMs. also, this has overwrite protection against HTC RUU's overwriting HSPL with a stock one, so if someone needs to revert to stock SPL for warranty reasons, a stock SPL downgrade package is posted here below. use this relocker *only* if you need to return the phone for warranty, and only use it as last step - after reflashing stock OS and radio. see steps at the end of this post about how to reflash stock SPL.
