I've try to upgrade my O2 xda, I've read IPL and SPL .0001, then i think is a G4, I've connect to PC, launch hardspl.bat from update_package and then the smartphone restart, but the screen remain white, activesync 4.5 not recognized it.
Please help me!
I've also try to use the alternate hardspl file of this thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=353547&highlight=white+screen+hardspl but nothing.
white screen after launch jumpspl and must soft reset to continue.
I've a Dutch O2 XDA with SPL 2.15.0001.
Is possible to have lock CID or similar?

G4 devices cannot be CID unlocked although the HardSPL circumvents the CID procedure.

You can hard reset although you will loose all your data. To hard reset, hold the camera button, the comm manager button and soft reset. Then follow the message on screen.

If I've a CID locked G4 I can't upgrade?
I've read the guide but I've not found a reply to my question. I've also try the alternate hardspl utility.
You can upgrade a G4 without CID unlocking (I have a g4 and WM6.1) You should be able to upgrade after SIM unlocking your device and HardSPLing your device. Try flashing a ROM when the device is connected but with the white screen and see if anything works on the PC.
When smartphone is white screen activesync not recognize any.
How I can verify if there is CID lock?
If it is a G4, there will be a CID lock unless it's an unbranded (HTC) device.
The CID lock will not affect the flashing procedure.
Ignore the fact that activesync doesn't recognise it and see if an RUU will recognise the device.
I've try now with cofferom, when screen white the RUU not phone, connection error (264).
When your device starts up, what is the IPL and SPL displayed?

I explain my step:
First launch the file "Update_Package\Update_Package\HardSPL\HardSPL G4\hardspl.bat" this file launch in smartphone the file jump.exe then I click on Yes on smartphone and the white screen appears, after this on PC appears a RUU, I close this and lauch the file: CoffieITA\Flash tools\ROMUpdateUtility_NV_G4.exe but this not recognize the smartphone.
I wrong any? the first RUU after hardspl.bat what is this?
HardSPL has not succeded. Try softSPL rather than hardSPL and see if the RUU will connect.
I've undestand where I wrong, now I've completed the operation and I've SPL: 2.G4.4PDA is ok?
Yes. Now try and flash a ROM.

Hi,
I try to change ROM from PDAMobiz Prophet WM6 V1.00 to Fantastic Mobiz XBow v1.1i. I made exactly what I was suppose to do. But after few minute i've got the error 300 "INVALID UPDATE TOOL". So I reset my S200, then it's stay on the blue page QTEK until I reset it. I try to upgrade again, but when i'm in the Bootloader mode, i connect the PDA, the letter USB appear on the PDA screen, but i've got the message "No device Connected, Would you like to try copying again", even if i still try few minutes later, it's stil say no device connected.
I don't know what can i do anymore.

What S200 you have? G3 or G4? What IPL/SPL Version?
Have you tested to use Step 2? Step 2 use a other Firmware Writer ...
G3

SPL: 2.20.0001
i don't know any other Firmware Writer. Can you tell me one please and where i can find it

ahm ... IPL/SPL with 0001 is a G4 ... have you write the G3 Firmware? if yes ... you have brick your phone!

Do you have your dockingstation? Load your Batterie! Then try to enter the bootloader Mode! If you have black screen again ... send it back to you mobile provider and hope they exchange it.

can you bring your device into bootloader screen?
from a first view it doesn't seem you bricked it (usually ipl and spl differ then (one is 0000 and one is 0001).
And as you still get an USB Icon i assume it is not broken (but i can't say that for sure).
Just try entering bootloader mode an then flash again (with a g4 firmware!) - see wiki for how to enter BL mode

I have problem with my 818pro. I upgraded to WM6.1 few months ago successfully with Prophet ROM 19974 M2D. Few days ago suddenly I cant hear anything from phone, but worked well with headset. I read some posts here and try to reinstall the same software which I used few months ago to upgrade from WM5 to WM6.1(with HardSPL G4). The Installation was successful, but when it was restarted, I can only see 3 color screen and USB is written on screen also can see (IPL 2.15.0001 and SPL 2.15.0001). I tried same software few times, but the result is same. The good thing is, I am still able to connect to my PC with USB.
Now I am not able to start my PDA. Every time I restart, It will show same 3 colored screen. and If i connect to USB, it will show on screen USB.
Can Please Please someone help me how can I Install and make it working. Please give me the links as well if possible.

The SPL Information , if already HARDSPL should be SPL 2.G4.4PDA. Cos you have G4 Device.

Try to reflash with PDAVIET NoVendor
But you need to go to Bootloader Mode first ( manually). Read how to do it.
Make sure battery enough.
And flash with the ROM above.
And do the HARDSPL again.

The SPL Information , if already HARDSPL should be SPL 2.G4.4PDA. Cos you have G4 Device.
Information for you : Installation, even not HARDSPL could be succesfull. But you will always stuck in Bootloader mode, like you have now.
So Reflash it first like I said and HARDSPL again.
Until SPL information like this SPL 2.G4.4PDA. Cos you have G4 Device.

i have a big problem with my qtek s200 ,
i made a terrible mistake
i made cid unlock and my s200 is a G4 version
i only see that was a g4 version after ai made the mistake. i am a ****ing asshole .
my version is a G4

spl 2.10.0001
Now when i turn on the phone it stuck on the start up screen.
I manualy put on bootloader mode , but every time i tried to flash phone with original version from my country, Portugal. I always get error 302 and dont even start's to flash. it stays always on the rainbow screnn
i already tried many things that i saw here posted but nothing.
i always stay on the rainbow screen, i cant even start flashing the phone
I already changed cable and pc and nothing
can anyone help me?

the problem is that when i put the phone in boot loader mode and try to make the update i get the error [264]: connection

Please help!! I've tried to upgrade my dopod c800 to WM6 through activesync.. but (i did'nt know the term "brick" before) my dopod is sudenly dead after error on my PC.
I could go into hard reset, but no to bootloader (CAMERA+stylus). When i push other button after hard reset.. it'll go into green screen with ipl and spl only. If i then push soft reset with stylus, it's turn off.
my ipl/spl is 1.xxxxxx

You probably broke your SPL/IPL. The warning says to not flash a third party ROM on your phone if your SPL is lower than 4.xx
If you can get back to the bootloader, you can use the goldcard method to revive your phone. I have not done the goldcard method myself, so I cannot answer any questions on it.
