SDIO 802.11b/g by Pluscom. Compatibility issues with WM6 - Palm Treo 750

I have a Pluscom 54Mb Wifi SDIO card that is not supported under WM6. I have had brief comms with the manufacturer http://pluscom.cn/forum/forum_posts.asp?TID=571
It appears that they do not curently intend to develop WM6 drivers and they allude to the problem being to do with the way WM6 hooks into the miniSD slot to support HC card types.
Has anyone found a workaround for this and if not are there any dumped WM5 .nbh anywhere for this device? There aren't in the FTP.
Thanks

I got a spectec mini SD wifi card on hand. I think I can have some test on my Treo 750 few days later. There's also driver for WM6 on spectec's website.

Microdrive

Hi
which HTTC Devices are supporting Microdrive or similar mobile datadrives?
I'm searching for a solution for an application which uses Databases.
Non to my knoladge. Unless there is a microdrive with sdio interface (I haven't seen one).
Only some HP and Fujitsu devices have CF slots, maybe some others, but non of them phones. That's why all the havy nav programs use SD cards. Aren't 4GB anough for you? I believe 8GB cards will be available soon, not sure about device support though.
the backpack of himalaya have a cf slot

Problem with WM5torage and Orbit 2

I used to use my Orbit very often as a "USB-drive" with WM5torage. I tried the program on my Orbit 2 but on Kaiser as well, but I can't get it to work.
Windows recognizes new drive but won't access it at all.. can you help?
Neither WM5Storage nor Softick's CardExport II are currently compatible with the Touch Cruise. Softick claim to be working on a new version to incorporate TC compatability, so I guess we just have to wait at the moment...
exatly, neither softick,wm5torage works on qualcom based devices(niki/tc/kaiser)
thank you quys for your answers. but at least HTC made the cards easier accessible then it was in the first orbit
WM5torage on Orbit 2 OK under LINUX EEEPC
Reading your thread, i am having same problem with new Orbit 2 and windows XP not seeing the disk, my Orbit 1 was not a problem at all. However, my little ASUS EEEPC laptop running XANDROS linux, can see the ORBIT 2 as a mass storage device running WM5torage V1.8 without any issues at all. Maybe its a more a windows issue and not just the HTC device itself.
Dunno :-~ but it works just fine under LINUX.

Softick CardExport works with the Polaris from version 3.08 up.

Help: Need cab file for gamepad for PPC

I wasn't sure if this was only a forum for phones or all WM devices but I have an ipaq hx2755 that no longer can connect with activesync and I have tried everything. Does anybody know how to create a cab file for the gamepad software so I can use this again with my WM5 ipaq? Only way I can get things installed/re-installed is through copying to storage cards.
Any help or pointing in the right direction for this is much appreciated.

[Q] WinCE GPS driver for IPAQ

Have a three part question, but this is the first part:
Trying to get a GPS CF card to work in an IPAQ 2200 series running WinCE 4. It does not autorecognize the card, while another IPAQ running WinCE 3 does! Not sure how it could be missing the WinCE GPS driver, but would like to find the PocketPC cab file for the WinCE GPS driver.
Also, how can I reflash the IPAQ to WinCE 6 using just an SD card? Don't have a computer to ActiveSync with it.
