Wizard WM6 does not automatically turn on hands free when in a call with msvoicecmd - 8125, K-JAM, P4300, MDA Vario ROM Development

I have a G3 Wizard and a Samsung WEP200 bluetooth headset. I flashed the TNT professional rom to my wizard last night and installed MS Voice Command 1.6.
The bluetooth headset works fine for voice commands (I can even hear the program talk to me through it), but when I call someone by pressing the button and saying "Call person", it dials and then doesn't activate the hands-free option of the phone. I have to manually hit "Menu" and then "Turn Hands-Free On".
If I dial by hand or clicking a contact, it turns it on automatically. How can I make it turn on the hands-free function of the phone automatically after using the MSVoiceCommand option for calling someone?
I've searched the forums for quite a while, and can't seem to find a solution to this. If there is already a solution, please point me to it. Thanks, everyone. I appreciate any help.
UPDATE:
This issue seems to only happen when the bluetooth headset is turned on while the phone is already on. If the phone is rebooted after the headset is turned on, it seems to work fine.

XDA II and HCB-30

Hi,
Does anyone have this combo and if so do you have problems with them connecting?
I have bonded fine selected headset option and all is working fine (can make and receive calls).
Then when I switch off ignition obviously the carkit disconnects (as It should) and when I switch ignition back on it won't connect unless press cobination of hangup and pick up keys on the carkit, (then I can make and recieve calls fine again).
This seems to be working I would like to know if it should pick it up without intevention or am I doing it right,
Many thanks.

HBH-35
This isn't completely relevant, but I have an XDA II and HBH-30 combo which works better than P900 and HBH-35.

It should pick it up automatically when you start the car again. About 2 secs after I restart my car, the HCB30 unit will beep and that is the indication that it's gone 'activie', i think.
I set my XDA II BT setting on "ON" instead of "DISCOVERABLE". Once in a blue moon it does not connect to the HCB unit. All I do then is to go to the BT setting and tick the "DISCOVERABLE" and then back to "ON" and it will work again.
Hope this helps.
I just thought of something....I remember someone mentioned that you can only have 1 pairing on the XDA II, or else it will not work properly. The HCB30 is the only pairing I have setup for my XDA, and it's working fine.
BTW, have you tried the voice dialing software? It works great in the car but I can only activate it by pressing a button on the XDA. Try it if you haven't already (Fonix VoiceDial 2).
Thanks for the replies, I think that it may be me being impatient.
I have tried the fonix voicedial software it works great - only once you have trained it to ignore the less used contacts.
At the moment I am using something called Hot button plus, it's a great little app that allows you to use one hardware button to launch any app or even dial your most used contacts.
In the UK we need to have complete handsfree use of the phone or we break the new law so this is really helpful as when you press the button it states what it will do. (you can choose from loaded sound files or you can record your own.)
I will give the phone and carkit more time to pair and post my findings.
Thanks for your time.
Neil.

O2 Graphite & O2 Bluetooth HS Problem

I have recently got a new O2 Graphite (WM6) via an upgrade, which came with an O2 "Blue" Bluetooth headset.
I paired the phone and the headset, and they worked fine for one call. After a single use I press the headset "talk" button, but the phone completely ignores it... I press the talk button and I do not get the "Say Command" prompt. I tried with another (non-O2) headset, and I get the same problem. The only way I can get them to work is... delete the pairing, reboot, create pairing, make a call, delete the pairing, reboot....
The pairing seems to time-out or something.
I have Bluetooth visibility on the phone turned on, and "show-visible" time-out set to never.
Is this a typical problem with these phones? Shall I send off for a replacement?
Maybe I should forget about the hands-free law, use my phone as normal, and if I get stopped, get O2 to attend court, take the points, and the fine!
Thanks, Demon

How to make wired headset button start Voice Command

I've searched everywhere but cant find a solution to this: I bought the HTC wired usb headset for the Tilt. With Cyberon voicedial, the button on the headset would activate the app and worked perfectly. As I prefer MS Voice Command, I then went ahead and uninstalled Voicedial and installed VC, but button doesnt work now. Anyone know how to remap the headset button to voice command?
Try this reg, should do it.
Thanks, I'll give it a try...what changes does it make?
Sometimes after installing MS Voice Command you need to do a reset once or twice before the BT headset is reconized properly. (battery out and back in...) And, some BT headsets don't work well at all. MS's BT driver set has a history of being bad.
I think you misread my post...I was asking about the WIRED headset, not the BT one.
okay my question is that the software that came with my tilt- voice dail thing, cyberon will only work if I activate it by clicking the icon, however, I can't start it with a BT headset that I have, can anyone help?
well first fo all did you even activate it for you to use it?

Annoying issue with bluetooth headset

Hello all,
I've had my TP for over a month now, and globally I'm pretty much happy with it. Of course there are some glitches here and there, but no doubt a firmware upgrade will fix those bugs soon.
That said, there's an annoying issue with the way bluetooth headsets work with the phone part. Let me try to explain :
- When an incoming call occurs and I answer using the "take call" button on my headset (which is a Plantronics Pulsar 590), sounds is transferred to the headset and everything works fine.
- When an incoming call occurs and I answer using the "answer" button on the mobile, the sound stays on the TP even if the headset is switched on and connected to the TP.
When the latter happens, I can't get the sound back to the headset. When I select "transfer to hands-free" from the phone menu, the transfer works erratically.
Is there a fix available somewhere to make sure that, when the headset is on and connected, the sound of an incoming call always goes to the headset?
Thanks a lot in advance for any help you may bring on solving this issue!
Are you using AEBPlus?
No (and honestly, I don't see how that relates to the problem)
Hi Guys,
I also have this issue.
But if I press the 'answer call' on the mobile the sound stays with the Touch Pro but if, once I realise what I've done, I press the 'answer call' on the headset then audio is transferred to the headset again.
Does that happen for you? I'm using an SBTHS-3500 BT headset.
Cheers,
D.

Sorry, I had multiple tabs open for responses.
Copy'n'Paste error.
P.S. I had this issue on my TP and Diamond as well. I have since installed a 2.03-based ROM which fixes the issue (since you can no longer press the phone button to answer, but rather have to use a slider).

BT: Phone 2 Disconnect?

Hi all. I have read several threads about some problems people were having with bluetooth disconnects, primarily with car BT systems.
I am having a problem that is similar but a little different sounding.
Sometimes it works fine.
But other times (especially if, for example, the bluetooth comes on during a call and I hit the button to turn on speaker phone, for example, during that single call) I have an issue where the bluetooth keeps disconnecting.
I will go in to the settings menu and will see my Plantronics Voyager HD headset and it will say Paired. When I select it on the bluetooth settings page it will then say "Connecting to Audio" and will start working. However, as soon as I dont use it for a few seconds, I will get a voice message through the headset that says "Phone 2 Disconnected" and it stops working until I go through the entire manual process in the settings menu described above.
I dont have any other bluetooth device paired, and I tried to delete and then add this device a second time, so I dont know why it says "Phone 2 Disconnected" and if that has something to do with the frequent BT disconnects.
Im on stock ICS.
Any ideas?
